The bolt action to cock/load ammo is a bit tough for our youngest, 8 year old, but he was able to figure out a method to do it by himself. I love how the pumping action works and is easy enough to do that all of our kids can easily pump it. It's very accurate. It is also VERY well made. It feels like it will easily last years without signs of mechanical wear. That is speculation, of course, but I'm pretty confident it will last.

This air gun is sturdy and and packs a big punch I am very glad I got this

Good looking gun but made fairly cheap the stock and fore end are plastic

Barra 1866 is a good shooter for people getting into target shooting or have been nice looking rifle .

Solid, powerful, and accurate. I'm not crazy about the gold finish, but you can tell it's made well. My son loves it and I'm having fun with it too. I'm glad I chose this model over others that I know won't last. Overall a good buy.

This is a sturdy pellet gun and shoots pretty accurate. Does all I need it to do by taking care of yard critters and the occasional plinking.

I like it because it's good for squirrel hunting and has a long range shot.

great gun shoots great fills real handels great love it would reconmend it to anyone that loves bb guns i,m so glad to have gotten mine . So much junk bb guns out there but this one by far is the best

I love the weight, it feels real and the lever action is solid metal makes it feel durable. It's great that you can put BB's and pellets. Plus it looks Soo cool shooting it

It looks vintage like the western guns. It handles amazing for a little bebe gun. Pump it a little more and it gets a little stronger.

Ok so it's cool looking! The positives more powerful then I thought it blew through the back of 1/2” ply wood plus I found it to be accurate with pellets now the negatives inaccurate with bb's plus it's a real pain to load pellets. If it were me I would have just made this rifle a pellet gun and not a BB gun. I would have had a more open breach for easier loading

Nice lil bbgun actually has some weight to it and it's pretty accurate

I'm really impress with this rifle by the looks for Western decoration and not only that but the power of shooting with those 10 pumps ....But I'm really amaze and I do appreciate the made production and details on rifle ..thank y'all to everybody in BARRA..

I bought this for my son who is too into video games, one of which is called Red Dead Revolver and has a western theme. The cowboy quality of this air rifle pulled him in and now he shoots outside regularly. It is very powerful and he is able to one shot a squirrel easily. We shoot more BB's than pellets because the loading system for the pellets is very difficult. There is little instructions on how many pumps to use, we settled on three. It is very heavy for a child, which is probably why they went with plastic grips--not the best choice though, a little wood would be nice. Maybe a sling or attachments for one. All and all for the price it was an amazing purchase and has us drooling over other Barra products....

The rife has a very good weight and feel too it. It is accurate and a pleasure to shoot. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys shooting.
