Here are my "Right out of the Box" impressions.
Pros
The rifle has a really pleasing aesthetic, the gold and black finish is eye catching and the barrel has an authentic look. The instructions were straight forward and easy to follow.
The gun is easy to load and it shot very accurately from the first bb to the last and at 10 pumps is very powerful.
Cons
The bb's tend to come out of the feed tube two at a time if you are not careful with how you handle the rifle while pumping it.
The pump handle tends to hit the side of the seating cradle when reseating after a pump.
Final Impressions
This rifle is as advertised and a pleasure to shoot. It has the power and accuracy that I was looking for in BB/Pellet rifle. Great gun for the price.

I really love the look and feel of the 1866 cowboy series took a few shots to get it dialed in and the sites set where I want them but the variable pump makes it nice for shooting different ranges. Great purchase and now I gotta get my son and nephew one since they can't keep their paws off mine!

The Barra 1866 air gun has a good. Look feel while handing it has some weight to it but nothing I can't handle. Love my Barra 1866.

Great little gun, shoots start and great deal for the money. The only thing I didn't like about it was the rear site but I changed it to a V rear site and I love it.

Loved the feel and weight over others in the price range. Wish the plastic was wood but still built strong with real metal. Feels good and has smooth action. Seems accurate and powerful at 10 pumps.

I like that the gun is pretty and has a powerful shot. It's kinda big but that's still a plus. The trigger click is satisfying and the gun works really well. got it for my bday!

I am 67 years old and this is my first Barra Airgun. I was impressed with the design and quality of the gun.
It is a blast to shot. The bolt is a little difficult to pull back.

Just got it today, super easy to use, I expected to have to use compressed air cylinders but I was happy to find out I didn't need it, it's been a blast to shoot cans out my window

Was very surprised on how good it looked when I got it out of the box. Got my first varmint with it yesterday. Works great. Wish the sights were a little better.
