I saw this at the store today and I just had to have it because it looks really cool with all of the brass on it and it looks just like my mom's 30-30.I like it because it is heavy and is really powerful. I like that it shoots strait. I also like that is shoots both b-b and pellet. This gun is the best.

The pellet rifle just looks absolutely amazing with the gold finish and old times look. It also out performed it self being very consistent and having great aim. I also enjoy the variable power that is allowed by the pump action.

I bought the BARRA 1886 cowboy series with the gold finish and nice wood accents. It's lever action which I love. It's the only air rifle I keep in a special air rifle carrying case to keep it in mint condition. This is an air rifle I want to be able to give to my kids or grandkids some day as something they can always remember me by when they plink around with grandpas old BB gun.

The gun is great it's not quite sight in quite excited in when you get it but when you cite it and it is very accurate and powerful it goes through a heavy plastic bucket at 40' Cocking the air rifle is a little weird because it's such a long throw

Plastic furniture but steel rifled barrel. Accurate enough to knock bugs off the pickup at 25yrds. Great looking .

There is nothing to dislike about the gun one thing that can be improved is how to load a pellet into the slide because it is so deep other than that it's good

Easy to pump. Kids loved it camping. Going to buy the Jr version asap! Loved that bbs ran out just in time to start loading pellets. Favorite gun pump action gun with iron sights so far, from any maker.

I love how powerful it is. It can go through many things and I'm super impressed. I think you should get this gun because it is a super fun gun to go out and shoot at cans and even small animals.

I just received the 1866 cowboy rifle, very impressed with the look and feel of the rifle. It is accurate and more powerful than I thought it would be. Again, very impressed. Keep up the good work.

The rifle feels descent in your hands but does take some time to get use to. The safety lever is touchy.

The 1866 has an amazing look and feel of the cowboy classic rifle at a price that can't be beat. Even though the stock is plastic, it has a look and texture that seems completely genuine. The charging pump is a very clever arrangement and the ability to shoot both pellets and BBs is a welcome feature. Overall I am completely thrilled with this highly affordable and historic rifle.
