Wonderful little gun. Super accurate, have only shot appx 200 rounds but seems be a fun gun for target practice. Mounted a BSA scope and holding well.

Would be nice to include spare Magazine or have a option to purchase additional Clips....

I already own 4 other QB rifles. The price on this one for a bolt action repeater with rotary magazine is terrific. I recall when the conversion kit to change a single shot QB into a repeater was $169! The magazine is a bit sticky at first but better now with 300+ pellets through it. I have converted all my QBs to run on HPA at 1200-1500 psi. This doubles the power and is an easy conversion which can also be used as bulk fill CO2. Plenty of good info on U-tube to show step by step mods on QBs. Out of the box I was getting a 3" pattern at 30 yards. Now on HPA I am able to hit 1" splatterburst target patches at 30 yards consistently with inexpensive Winchester dome pellets. This air rifle shoots these better than the Crosman 10.5 grain dome pellets for half the cost. With HPA on a tethered tank I have a regulated air supply at constant pressure which maximizes accuracy and shooter reward by actually hitting the aim point. I am very pleased with all 5 of my QBs on HPA .

The plastic rotary mag is a bit sticky with 2 plastic nubs that stick when you rotate the cover to load. I am glad to hear that Gauntlet and Marauder magazines will work if the pin is removed. So far it is OK but it takes twice as long to fill as a Gauntlet mag. I do not see any QB replacement mags available yet so I might have to pull that pin in the future.

CO2 changes pressure with every shot depending on ambient temperature and speed of shooting. This negates the advantage of a repeater when you must wait 30 seconds between shots for the cartridges to warm up again from the previous shot. If you are shooting soda cans from 10 yards it might not be an issue for you. At 30 yards it is a big deal. 1" on 10 shots with HPA versus 3" on 10 shots with CO2.

This is a nice version of the qb78. Tks synthetic stock is nicely done and feels solid. The bolt action is tight but smooth. This gun is capable of great groups at 15-20 yards, the trigger is pretty good as set but a little adjustment can make it even better. It's a fun gun from the qb78 lineup

Im a wood gun guy but when I received this gun and put it up to shoot it I knew that this is a great gun ,love it.

The rear sight is not easy to set at all ,but I have type two diabetes so my eyes are not young anymore so scope it is and that thing is on at 54 yards hitting small spinner target.

Easy to turn into pcp.

Very accurate rifle. Easily adjusted trigger (QB78 single stage). Uses 2 C02 cartridges- good power for a C02 rifle and lots of shots. Uses beefier Maurauder mags that are pretty cheap and readily available just by eliminating the stop pin in the mag well. Almost across the board interchangeability with available QB78 parts makes customizing easy. Some may not care for the look, but I think its very cool looking! Has nice fiber optic sights (although I prefer a scope).

Needs a higher comb on the stock for scope usage. Easy fix with an ATI Cheek Rest.

If you like the QB78 type of airguns, you will appreciate this rifle. Shoots 5 hole touching/ 25 yard groups all day long.

Basically the same rifle as a QB78. Easy to work on and easy to shoot. This rifle is already set to be cock on open. The 15mm barrel takes the same aftermarket accessories as a QB78D.

Im not a huge fan of the synthetic stock, but it is definitely lighter. Need to offer spare magazines. Offer this receiver on a QB79 base.

Marauder and Gauntlet magazines fit the rifle if you pull the guide pin from the receiver. The Marauder mags are a little tight, but they function perfectly.
The breech leaves enough room to add a full length 1 inch shroud.
