    Things I liked:

i really like the thumbhole stock, the hardwood is itself quite nice (albeit slightly "underfinished" in my opinion). overall fit and finish is much better than what i expected for a rifle in this lower end price range. the scope that is included is top notch for what it is.

    Things I would have changed:

this is like beating a dead horse, but the trigger needs some refining. its not a deal breaker for me, but could certainly be better. personally aesthetically, i'm not a fan of the front sight/muzzle brake

    What others should know:

after spending nearly a year with this rifle, and many thousands of pellets downrange, i can honestly say this rifle is well worth every penny. its not as pellet picky as some of my other rifles, any accuracy issues encountered are 95% shooter error. this rifle is very hold sensitive. not an issue at all if your willing to LEARN the rifle. the recoil settles down substantially after a couple thousand shots to break it in. when i do my part, this rifle will center hole poker chips at 85 yards. the power of this this is amazing! great field gun for hunting, if you can deal with the weight. personally i prefer my rifles on the heavy side. dont let the stated cocking effort deceive you, i was very pleasantly surprised when i cocked it for the first time!! i have lower end beemans with less power that are harder to cock. the sheer length of this rifle might make it feel unwieldy for smaller shooters, but it fits my 5'10" frame just fine. for the money, this is one surprisingly superb rifle, yes theres room for improvement, but that is true of everything. it would be nice to have a gas spring option, simply for the convenience of leaving it cocked while hunting, but not for want of power or that it needs it to smooth it out. be patient with this rifle and you will be rewarded with a fine shooting powerhouse that is also easy on the eyes, and bank account!

powerful .alot good thing I've found it to be even more than I expected.

    Things I would have changed:

smaller gun.Trigger weight takes getting used to.

    What others should know:

.22 is way better than .177 for this gun. high recoil. take time to getting used to make it accurate

    Things I liked:

Very powerfull, sturdy and adult gun. No fuzz no nonsense. Shoots far and with power. Still sighting in the gun but is easy to do with this scope. The mil-dot is a breeze to use.

    Things I would have changed:

Honestly I've already ordered the Charlie da tuna trigger...... You really pull the whole gun down when trying to shoot this thing.

    What others should know:

The gun is HEAVY..... If you don't have the physical strength to hold aim get a lighter gun. It'll take some aiming to sight in but once that is done the mil-dot will make easy transitions in distance changes

    Things I liked:

Just got it about an hour ago. It has a solid feel to it, good scope, power, and accuracy. I was able to have it zeroed in under 5 min. Im able to hit a penny at 55 yards with the proper adjustments for wind and distance without a problem. Being a former marine helps though lol. This is a good rifle. **zeroed with the crossman field hunting pellet**

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I didnt recieve the high velocity pellets that are suppose to come with it but im sure pyramyd will remedy that. I'll be doing another review once I put more rounds down range.

    Things I liked:

The stock, though kind of soft, has a great feel. Just seems to fall naturally into place on my slight, 6 ft. frame. Super accurate after mods., but didn't shoot it more than 50 or so rounds before. The scope is quite acceptable.

    Things I would have changed:

I did change to a GTR trigger and replaced the crap looking barrel brake with a 1/2 X 20 adapter and a brass barrel weight.

    What others should know:

Likes heavier pellets. And does require a bit of shooting time to settle down.

    Things I liked:

The advertised fps of 1500 w pba and 1200 w 7.9 lead pellets.Looks of the stock.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it shoot at least near what its advertised.Lighten it up alot and have gas spring option. Can other ppl post there actual fps and what ammo they are usng.

    What others should know:

Now the bad news that i didnt encounter till after gun was broken in and i had a chrony.Sure it feels powerful w that big spring banging away but chrony shows only 1350-1360 w raptor pba and 1080 with several different 7.9 lead.My little gamo whisper does 1270 and 1005 respectively which meets and exceeds its advertised velocities.I bought this benji based on its advertised 1500/1200 and hugely disappointed.I would have returned it if i knew b4 my 30 day return expired. To gain 3and a half pounds over gamo and get only 75-90 fps more is a real bad deal. The spring broke yesterday while target practicing and the scope doesnt stay zeroed longer than 10 shots but it looks like nice scope.just sent gun to crosman after about 800-900 shots and i wont accept it back unless it shoots near advertised fps, hope crosman takes care of this bogus gun quickly or i wont get any thing else but gamo or rws.I be back to say what end results are.PS.Got lower fps w rws hypermax 5.2 grain that claim 30% increase, raptors were 20-30 fps faster in both guns.

    Things I liked:

I love heavy guns because I have shaky hands. This gun definitely has the weight I was looking for. It is a great gun for the money and a great gun overall. In .22 caliber, this gun tears through cans at 40 yds. I am getting entrance holes nearly dime sized.

    Things I would have changed:

Can't think of anything right now.

    What others should know:

Hold on tight. This gun will kick and throw off your shot if you do not.

    Looks good, Hits very hard

    Things I would have changed:

Scope is iffy, abberations get worse as the power goes up. Make it easier to remove the iron sites.

    What others should know:

This is my second try, Crosman replaced the first gun that the barrel moved from side to side. It really likes heavy pellets in the 10 gr range and with only 60 shots through it is grouping 1/2" to 3/4" @ 20 yds. I will be looking for a different scope however because this one drives me nuts. Power is outstanding and I will be replacing the back of my little metal trap that is getting pretty well reformed to a domed profile. As can be expected a rat @ 20 yds don't even know what hit him and that's why I bought it.

    Things I liked:

Got this today...first after checking the scope for tight, and installing a shoulder strap..(by the way) Uncle mike's Super Swivels..Kit # 1052-2 is everything you need included is the barrel ring..and all hardware. Just so you know the barrel of this super streak is 0.628...try to find that out from someone. Out of the box at 30 feet,,, left 4 low 4 clicks. Re-shoot 5 shots in dime. Next out 60 feet....I could not see any hits...shot five more. I walked out there and there was a dime size hole in the target...out 120 feet......All in, ten shots five standing free hand and ten with leaning post, all but one in, dime size pattern. Now I have shot all my life, big game to birds...Lot's of one shot kills at 300 yards and lot's of food on the table.....after a day with this gun...I am so impressed I cant believe for this price you can get something like this gun. This thing is definitely NOT for a young kid, (nothing personal) This is a mans gun. Fit and finish is excellent. Rub in some gun-stock greases and I would put this right beside my Seiko Finn-bear L61R made in Finland, there $2500.00 used if you can find one! I have a beeman R7, have shot the Gamo and RWS. ALL fine guns, I would take this any-day and shoot and look right with them. All the target practice I did was with Benjamin Discovery 10.5 gr. At 180 feet went right through seven ply 3/4 plywood, and what was left went through a five ply 3/8 one foot behind it....... five times out of ten...Nice gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Long first to second stage pull on the trigger, but always the same and predictable each time. You have to hold the gun tight, as if a 30-06 was in your hand, and the shoulder pad starts to become uncomfortable after a day of shooting it. The rest is right on the money for this price range.

    What others should know:

I sanded the trigger and polished it then re blued it.Nice on the finger and eye. I then removed the butt pad and smoothed the sharp edge with a wire wheel. Looks great and dose not cut into me now. After this is broken in, I will love to try some 100 yd shots. I have some Goldenrod long range pellets to try. I think they call them golden, as you need some gold to buy them. NOW....This gun dose say made in China, some parts (trigger guard, front site,wind-age and elevation knobs) are plastic.....if that is a deal breaker for you, it is to bad. The gun was designed in the USA by Benjamin now owned by Crossman, too names well thought of. Beeman and Gamo are made in China also. Not even RWS puts the "stock" wood work and detail in there guns this has,... at much less money. All that I have written here is only my opinion......I am 56,retired, and playing with my new toy..I hope this dose not insult any provisional reviewers out there, but when I was reading about all the guns....real detail about construction, fit, finish...... was missing. I hope this will help someone out. This has to be one tough market........

    Things I liked:

Powerfull for sure and i like the thumbhole stock.Nice looking gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Weight,weight.weight.This thing is heavy.Should have swivels installed for a sling because you will need one.Should come with one installed.Too bad gas spring isnt an option for this beast as i would buy it or another in a heart-beat.A little twangy.Somebody should consider making gas spring an option cuz then this thing would be more refined. Also trigger sucks.Needs grt3,i installed one on this thing.

    What others should know:

Not a kids gun. This thing is toooo heavy for lugging around in woods.Should have wheels on it like a cannon.A shooting stick helps alot.It is very powerfull for an air gun & accurracy is very good if you can steady it.I love this Benji & the only problem i have with it is the weight & trigger,Get a sling when purchasing you will want one.Its a little twangy especialy when compared to my whisper w gas spring which is also a beauty.Put a grt3 trigger on it,i put one on both my springers and its much smoother & lighter to pull.Overall you get alot of bang for the buck.

    Things I liked:

It is very well made with nice wood to metal fit. The scope supplied has a bright view and the green or red illumination is a nice bonus. I like the heavyness of the rifle for providing steady aim with the added weight. The accuracy and power are wonderful. With the Predator Polymag I shot 1/2" group when sighting in the scope. A soda can filled with water exploded when hit by the 22 pellet from the rife and 1/4" plywood was no match for the pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Sling swivels would be nice since caring the rifle around without them would get heavy in the hands.

    What others should know:

When you get the rifle make sure all the screws are checked for tightness. They needed to be snugged up on the rifle I purchased.

    Things I liked:

I have owned the .177 cal version for almost a year now and it is everything I was looking for in a break barrel in this price range. Its dead on accrurate after its been broken in and sighted properly with a experienced shooter. I like it more than my Gamo Shadow. It makes birds explode just like in the cartoons and will take out a 8- 10 lb racoon with one shot @ 50yds. I liked it so much I just purchased the .22 cal version and decided to upgrade the triggers on both with the GRT-III trigger for better groups. I am still breaking in the .22 cal and I am sure it will be just as good as the .177 cal with more stopping power for bigger game. The high quality scope, wooden stock, and power of these air guns makes a great value for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

needs a better access point to properly oil the air chamber and seals. I use a small plastic syringe with a 2 inch curved plastic needle that you can get at your local auto parts store or wally world, to get the oil down into the air chamber and seals where its needed. Trying to get the oil in there per the instructions proves difficult. A better quanlity true 2 stage trigger would be nice.

    What others should know:

This gun is not for kids or anyone who has trouble carrying any weight. Its a heavy weight and long, So it takes some upper body strength to cock it, and carry it around and shoot it for long periods. Read the specs before you buy it. That way you will know what your getting and you won't be dissappointed.

    Things I liked:

This is a very accurate gun, i shot a bottle cap from 30 yards way. This gun is also extremly powerful, it is stronger that a 22., it shot throw three fouth of an inch of wood. I love the thumbhole stock and the powerful scope. The quality is great to. It is made out of real wood, it comes with a 150.00 dollar scope, the barrle is groved so it puts a spin on the bullet for better accuraty and the fact it looks and feels like a real gun.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

This gun has kick backbelieve it or not. My friend shot the gun and did not expet kick back and the scope busted his fore head. it is also very heavy it weighs 8.5 pounds and the cocking force is about 30 pounds. This not a gun for small kid

    Things I liked:

Have latest version of 22. Trigger is fine, can shorten creep to ur pref. Gun was set up well. No twang from spring, feels like its been tuned. All screws were tight except scope, which u need to fully zero in mounts etc. neway. Serious power out of this gun. Drives cheap Daisy Precision MAX Flatnose pellets thru 700 pages of phone book, with two cover like inserts! PolyMag's Predators and Diabolo Jumbo Exacts love this gun. Blows away my friend's Diana 350 Mag at half the money, tho the Diana seems higher *quality* construction, this is the 'git r done' rifle of the two. Scope is simply outstanding *IF* u know how to set it up. If you don't, find someone who does. Accuracy depends entirely on shooter skill. Like many mag springers, mine is working best with artillery hold HOWEVER, gun is very sensitive to point of forward rest. Best hold point for me seems to be far forward on the stock near the break as opposed to the more usual just in front of the trigger guard location. Seems to want a balanced hold. Recoil substantial but not horrible. I pull into shoulder firmly, then *relax* and let rifle sit snug against shoulder, support with NO grip up forward with left and use very tip of index finger to fire. (former sniper) Important to follow thru with this rifle, keep eye on target till rifle settles! This rifle has retired my 48. No contest. Oh, night vision goggles and the illuminated reticle make for great night shooting. Incredible value here.!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Stock a bit short for 6'3 or bigger shooters. Added pad insert-good to go :) Adjustable length stock would be great but at this money...c'mon... LOL. Next thing would be sling mounts. This is a big, heavy rifle to tote around all day in the field with one hand. It WILL improve your physique however :) 30 lbs cocking pull my azz! You'll feel like you've been in the gym after a day's shooting session. You'll need a BIG scoped rifle case for this, and it deserves it :)

    What others should know:

Perhaps I just got a *good* one, or maybe latest production run has been cleaned up, but I found zero problems with this rifle right out of the box. One caveat tho, YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO SET UP A SCOPE and MOUNTS!!!! If you don't, find someone who does. Remove the scope from the rifle and zero it internally before you do anything, then check the zero in the mount, THEN and ONLY Then, mount the scope. MAKE SURE THE LOCKING PIN IS SET FOR THE CORRECT DEPTH or you'll have to do the whole process over again. When its ready, I'd suggest some form of friction enhancer to help the scope stay locked in the mount. Completely dried contact cement has worked well for me over the years. Lastly, .22 seems perfect for this rifle. The Predators will destroy 3/4" plywood with very good hunting accuracy. The Czech JSB Jumbo Exacts lose just a bit of penetration in comparison, but the accuracy and power *shock* transfer at range are amazing for ANY spring gun. This rifle approaches the Patriots I've fired in power, but with better accuracy and THAT is saying something for a rifle at this price. At closer ranges, the H&N hollow points are nearly as accurate, but leave little of your small game intact :) Saves the walls and trees behind your squirrels/rats from destruction tho lol. Treat and shoot this rifle as if it was a good 22 rimfire, it nearly is. Last thing, get some *blue* locktite and go thru the screws on the gun before you fire it. Set it up correctly it'll b your number 1 gun.

    Things I liked:

Good quality scope, real wood stock, lots of punch, seems very accurate after a little break in, liked the open sights but want use them with the scope that comes on it.

    Things I would have changed:

At this price not much. If the trigger could be improved without an increase in price, that would be great!

    What others should know:

Long heavy gun, shorter folks and not too strong will have a hard time cocking it. Trigger is bad and the adjustment is useless but you can get used to it if you shoot a lot or maybe an upgrade if you want to spend a little more.

    Things I would have changed:

The triger,,this has been beaten to death;) I'm going to install the aftermarket GTX-III. Hey we get what we pay for, no?

    What others should know:

I have several other air guns. My 23 year old FWB-124 is in the shop for a new piston; sooo I wanted to see what the Chinese had to offer. If weight was a plus, this 10 pounder would rate 5 stars. After cleaning the barrel and tightening the screws, my first shot hit 1024 FPS on my Crony. After the smoke cleared the second was 750 then the third was 850. It took about 15 shots to get the Dieseling to quit but sounded awesome...a hybrid fuel-air rifle ;) All shooting using 14.3 grain Benjamin hollow points. As stated, I'm on second rifle and happy to report scope and barrel lock much better. This rifle is a bear to shoot standing. Until I get new trigger, nothing smaller than rabbit will be attempted off rest at 20 meters. My 124 and Benjamin 392 are far easier to hit without using a bipod. Anyway, my next free day(s) will be spent trying to get this mule to shoot the way I want.
