    Things I liked:

The weight and feel, just like varmit rifle, the scopeis great with the lighted reticules.

    What others should know:

It is very loud for an airgun, it sounds almost like a .22 rimfire rifle.

    Things I liked:

The accuracy is outstanding on my .22 Super Streak. I like the weight of the gun, but if you are looking for something light...this is not it. It is very solid and a perfect field gun.

    Things I would have changed:

LOUD. I was not expecting to wake the neighborhood. I did. Interesting that it is listed as a "3" on loudness...the same rating as a gamo whisperer.

    What others should know:

Bottom-line: high powered, heavy, accurate...and expect loud.

    Things I liked:

To start it off right HEAVY but beef heavy not grissle. love the checkering its a must, thumb hole is tight and feels right, iron sights are durable, scope holds a zero like champ and is def bright. Shoots harder than anything in its class.

    Things I would have changed:

I want this with the gas spring maybe? scope mount has to go its garbage do not resell it please. Other then that nothing.

    What others should know:

Pick it up and try it out you will fall in love when it comes out of the box. Its heavy keep that in mind.

    Things I liked:

the supersonic crack it makes when using ultralight pellets, the generally good accuracy, the substantial size and weight, ease of cocking, beautiful dark, walnut-like hardwood stock, really nice 4-16 power AO scope with target turrets and dual color illuminated mil-dot reticle

    Things I would have changed:

put a metal trigger guard on it, make it ALOT easier to open the breech. i've fired at least 150 rounds since i got it on christmas and i still have to break the gun over my knee to open the breech. the recoil is so substantial and there is so much vibration that getting good groups is a bit of a chore

    What others should know:

the trigger really is not as horrible as other folks have stated. sure it is a little stiff, but im sure after a few thousand rounds it will be more than adequate. this gun was definately designed for hunters rather than competitive target shooters. in .22, it can really carry the power downrange into the target. squirrels don't stand a chance. i think animals as large as raccoons would be fair game with this in .22. Mine seems to prefer benjamin discovery hollowpoints to rws superpoints. crosman premier hollowpoints and crow-magnums are great too. i think this gun will really deliver the goods once i can get some of thoseJSB predators. anyway. if you want a great magnum springer for only 300 with some great features then just buy this. you won't regret it

    Things I liked:

great power and accuracy. this scope is almost as good as the one on my 30-06 deer rifle. well balanced wieght

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger could be a little smoother but that hasnt really affected my shooting

    What others should know:

i got the .22 caliber super streak for christmas and sighted it in today with the predator polymag pellets at 60 yards. it took me about 10 minutes to zero in to the point where i hit a quarter-sized circle five times in a row. then i set up an apple at 50 yards and blew it to pieces with one shot. this gun is very powerful and consistent. it is the best air rifle i have ever used

    not much

    Things I would have changed:

change the trigger it's junk even with the adjustment,Gun is way to long and heavy.you need to be hulk if your going to even think about carrying this thing around the woods for hunting. It would not fit in any sized scoped gun case .

    What others should know:

I tried everything to get this gun to shoot,it scattered pellets everywhere at 60 feet even sand bagged.the scope is crap also its got mill dot everything plus drop shot dial there is no way you would need all that for this gun.I was so dissapointed that it got shipped back.

    Things I liked:

The power and accuracy are unstoppable. The scope is excellent. Kicks like a real .22

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger isnt smooth, the cocking mechanism could be smoother. Front screw needs tightening frequently.

    What others should know:

This thing is easy to cock but beastly heavy. The weight of the gun makes it difficult to shoot standing up. This gun is a peice of artillery, it is huge. It is by no means for a weak person. Young children will find it nearly impossible to handle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger

    What others should know:

I took off the rear sight.Added a Limbsaver vibration damper to the barrel. My shot group thighted up.Looking for other places I can apply this to absorb vibration. Also thinkig about a barrel deresanator to see what happens.

    Things I liked:

    Power, but at a cost.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is awful, seem like all screws have to be tightened after every 50 pellets. I could not get close to the accuracy of my RWS side cocker with any pellet I tried. Why Gamo ever made those Raptors was probably an inside joke. You would be more accurate throwing a ping pong ball at a hyperactive chipmounk that was twenty yards away.

    What others should know:

I was told it would get "better" after a few thousand pellets. I don't have the patience. Since buying the "Stupid Streak" I bought an Air Arms TX200 MK III through Pyramid. My advice, save your money, pay twice as much for the TX and get four times the value in comparison. I'll probably end up giving the Sheridan to a nephew that I'm not overly fond of, he won't know the difference. After saying that I had a twinge of guilt. I'll leave him the TX in my will. My son gets my Airforce Talon SS and my Talon. He values accuracy as much as I.[He was on the Princeton rifle team].

    Things I liked:

The scope is awesome. The accuracy of the rifle is great when a bipod is used because the rife is heavy. I shot rats and crows at 20yards and the pellet went right through them. I can fully recommend the rife for pest control and hunting of small animals.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is heavy to pull. My first shots challanged my trigger finger.

    What others should know:

Tighten all the screws before you shoot and after several shots again. I can recommend GAMO MAGNUM PRO 1g Pellets because they are heavy and are very accurate with this powerful rifle.

    Things I liked:

It looks beautiful, all my friends liked it, the wood is well finished. Very, vey powerfull, I own it on .22 caliber and have killed an opossum with a well placed shot on its head. Ruber butt plate. The Scope Is great too. It comes with a nice rubber pouch to carry ammo and with 50 lead free-high speed pellets (this pellets dont seem to be available at stores yet, anyways they are too light for such a powerfull gun and they wont groop good enough).

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger: I don't like the plastic trigger guard although some people I've shown my gun to have told me that it is OK for them and even that fireguns are coming that way now. The trigger itself , it is too stiff, although it has improoved with usage and also by adjsting the second stage (turning the screw to make it shorter). The screws at the forearm get loose all the time and the wood fells loose from the metal (barrel and chamber) because of this, i tighted them but then without noticing it the wood got hurt a little on the inside (sorry, it is a little hard for me to make me understand since my native language is spanish, but beware if tightening the front screws).

    What others should know:

It catches rust very easy so beware that you have to clean it after every use, it would catch rust from fingerprints, mabe the nickel finished one does not have this problem but this option is not abailable for .22 cal and anyways I like the black barrel better. This gun needs chamber silicone oil to mantain it so i reccomend you to get a tube of the crosman RMCOIL. This gun has worked very well with the benjamin discovery .22 pellets so i reccomend them specially for the price. Shoot safely, this thing is dangerous. The gun measures over 51" (not 49.75 as stated) so if you want to get a case for it make sure it is long enough, I haven't been able to get a case that fits it here in Ecuador, where I live. I've own it for 2 months allready and I very happy with it after all.

    Things I liked:

This gun is very powerful i just recieved mine 2 days ago. So far i have shot atleast a dozen birds some at about 70 yards aiming write at them. The accuracy is good i can put 4 shots in a quarter at 25 yards but it is not broken in yet it is still getting better.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have liked a better trigger. When it first came out of the box the trigger was just terrible. But after i adjusted it it got better, it still has alot of creep but not as much.

    What others should know:

Things you should know are when you get the gun make sure all of the screws on the scope are tight. Also the gun isnt as hard to cock as others say it is. I am 14 and i have no trouble cocking it or holding it. But the gun is a beast its very long and heavy. If you are older than 12 or 13 you will have no problem carrying it.

    Things I liked:

The out of the box, heavy wood and big size is great. and I did read other reviews before buying, great pellet gun in 22 cal , and just waiting to be shoot to feel the power. you will see your self in the mirror with it at first. nice but the work now begins

    Things I would have changed:

you will want to put a little love into the wood, get your mothers wax for her tables that are made of wood and rub it into your super streak, then try and find out how to lube your seals inside the air chamber.and pellets that you can get the most of for the money

    What others should know:

made in china, bummer , I was very unhappy that Benjamin would do this , and the first one I got had a bent screw, returned it and got a good one , made the best of what you can

    Things I liked:

    POWER, POWER POWER !

    Things I would have changed:

    The crummy Gamo trigger

    What others should know:

Wow this thing is fantastic, supersonic . I am using 10.5 grain crosman pellets and at 100 yards I can hit and explode a soda can full of water ! my CFX by gamo will hit the can but I have to aim high . Not this thing aim and hit it . Its really cool to see the can burst open. I don't use the lightweight supersonic pellets they sent with it, however it is just too cool to put one in it and let your friends hear the supersonic crack. This is really fun to shoot, however the noise is a little loud. No spring twang on mine. When it pushes out the pellet you actually feel the power, and quality... It does take a little effort to cock it . the factory trigger was so hard to pull it honestly wore a blister on my finger in less than 300 shots. I took a chance and ordered the Gamo aftermarket trigger and now this is a sweet shooter at any distance... ig it had a decent trigger I would have said it is perfect ! Also my scope was bad out of the box, pyramyd air sent me to Crosman. Crosman sent me a pickup U.P.S. tag and then sent me another scope almost immediately. Now thats service! It didn't even cost me postage... Thank you Crosman!

Would be nice to have a different finish on the metal

    Things I liked:

Wow, nice looking gun. This one will make your buddies week in the knees. The SS in .22 I received was perfect both metal and wood. The Center Point scope of course is top notch although the lighted cross hair is something I will probably never use it is sorta cool. The mil-dots however are a very nice touch. Out of the box velocities as follows. Beeman H&N Match, 887 fps. Beeman Crow Mag 783 fps, Crossman Competition 875 fps and the Lead Free Benjamin pellets that came with the gun came out at a whopping 1163 fps. These were all 10 shot averages. I am impressed at how tight velocities actually were. 6 fps was the max spread in all 10 shot test groups with the exception of the Lead Free Benjamin where the 10 shot spread was over 100 fps. At this point I am still evaluating accuracy but it looks like the heavy Beeman Crow Mags are the only pellet I have tried that will group consistently. The lead Free (1163 fps) pellets should be saved for shooting the next elephant you see but please wait until he's about three yards out or you might miss him. Bottom line is the Lead Frees go fast but shoot poorly so try the heavy pellets and you should do okay!

    Things I would have changed:

Hands down "Auto Safety" In my opinion all guns should have an Auto Safety and I would have used a better trigger. The Trigger, Hum? Anybody have a winch or a sturdy come-along? Come-on Benji, for this nice of a gun the trigger is fundamentally WRONG! None the less I did manage to accomplish .45" groups at 35 feet using the heavy Crow Mag pellets. It takes a little getting used to but you can make it shoot right out of the box. Trouble is that after 300 shots my right index finger looks like it belongs to the Incredible Hulk. Oh well things could be worse. The good thing is that a local Air-gun dealer has a machined aluminum match quality trigger he will install and adjust to break clean at less than 3 pounds for under $50. This is the same trigger used to upgrade the Gamo Shadow platform, which by the way now shoots .25" groups at 35 feet all day long. I think the Silver Streak has potential with heavy pellets so I will make that investment soon. The (4) on my overall rateing is for the trigger, otherwise I would have maked all 5's.

    What others should know:

Remount the scope and use a low strength Thread Locker on all screws. Make sure the scope stop pin is snuggly in the hole provided and use Thread Locker on that also. This Gun shoots hard so know what's down range. This gun is also very loud when using the lightweight lead free pellets but don't worry about that so much because the elephant will be getting all the attention. I will touch bases again on accuracy after my SS broke in and cleaned. I'm at about 400 shots now and she's settling down nicely. Bullseye. This gun is a heavy weight but I'm okay with that as I believe the added weight makes any gun more stable for bench shooting. The SS is also heavy to cock. I never did see the spec but it has to be over 40 pounds but hey, I can do one armed left handed pushups now so there is always a bright side don't you think? This is a nice gun for the money and I don't regret the purchase at all.

    Things I liked:

    The scope

    Things I would have changed:

The wood finish. The creaky sound of the spring when cocking. The lose front sight hood with no means of tightening. Front hood is plastic. Blueing on the barrel was not even. Trigger.

    What others should know:

After reading the other reviews and additional pictures, I was pretty exceited to get this gun. So, it arrived yesterday. However, when I took it out of the box, I was disappointed right away. The wood finish was not impressive. I grabbed the muzzle break and touched the front sight hood and it kinda rattled (plastic). I tried to see how it was affixed, but done at the factory, there's no fastener I could see. I broke the barrel and heard a cheap-sounding creaking of the spring. Maybe I got a bad one. I've just recently gotten back into shooting because of a rat problem in the back yard. I dusted off my old RWS 36 and it shot just like it did the first day I bought it 20 years ago. Blueing was immaculate. Wood finish was still good. all the metal is nicely finished and fitted. No creeking when I pumped it. nice, smooth, tight action. front hood site is removable and made of steel. Accurate. I bought it for about $160 at the time. This super streak... $300. I think $150 of it was the scope. I was impressed with the quality of the scope. Don't use scopes that much. The illuminated reticle was a nice feature. If you have $300 to spend, buy an RWS. If this is going to be your first high powered gun, yeah, you may be impressed compared to a 760 Pumpmaster (I also had when I was 10, good gun) But if you've had a real high quality performance gun, you'll be slightly disappointed.

The power, scope, and thumb hole.

    Things I would have changed:

    Only the trigger

    What others should know:

Keep an eye on the screws. The need to be tightend often. Also ckeck the main set screw that drives down into the top of the gun. I had to put a larger one in after the original one snapped even though all of the other allen screws could not be tightend any more. It just has a lot of recoil. That is fine if you want the power this rifle provides.

    Things I liked:

Great Gun, Easy Parallax adjustment for scope, globe in the front barrel to protect the front sight, thumb hole.

    Things I would have changed:

Balance the rifle better (a lot of the weight is in the barrel), cocking effort is a little extreme, the stock had a nick in it, Creepy trigger, doesn't have fiber optic sights but a piece of metal.

    What others should know:

Doesn't seem to shoot as fast as claimed, I also bought a Mendoza RM 2800, I recommend this rifle just as much. And this DID NOT shoot through 1' plywood for me I don't know what the others are talking about .

    Things I liked:

Great accuracy. Great grip, really comfortable. Good finish

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger and amount of force to cock it. I didn't buy this gun for hunting, but for practice and fun. The amount of effort to cock it 4 times within 10 minutes is forcing me to return it for the second time. The initial break from it being locked was extremely difficult, I couldn't it in my arms had to break it on my leg, and I'm not a small man. The first time I returned it was because the trigger on the gun was shorter than in the picture and it pinched my finger when I shot. I returned it and it appeared as in the picture, but much to my dismay it still pinches my finger after every shot. Good rifle, not good for fun.
