Things I liked:

Outstanding! I have a similar model made by Umarex which is great but this one is definitely a cut above. The sale price made it a simple decision and I wasn't disappointed.

Things I would have changed:

Nada!

Things I liked:

It's a bad ass looking gun!

Things I would have changed:

It weighs a damn ton! I have owned and shot .22 rifles which weigh a lot less than this! Cocking it as a beast! I need to break it over my knee to do it.

What others should know:

I was pushed to this gun for pest control. I was told this is the best one to get for the under $300 mark. I'm not impressed. It heavy as well, cocking it is a bear, it kicks harder than a .22 rim fire, and I'm just disappointed in general. I cannot comment on the accuracy, I have shot it 5 times, and maybe because I trying to hit a bird from 30 yard and maybe I'm just a bad shot, I don't know. But being heavy as it is, makes getting a good site on a small animal difficult to say the least. I feel like I wasted my money.

    Things I liked:

Big, heavy sledgehammer of an airgun. It feels big in the hands and very sturdy. Cocking is smooth as silk with no noises whatsoever. Mine is .177 so I use a minimum of a 10.5 grain pellet and am using the Jsb 13 gainers at the moment. In .177 this is a 23 ftlb gun..yes 23 ftlbs and with that in mind the gun is very quiet. I have louder Air rifles making half the power. Fit a d finish is very very nice. Here we go..the only let down is the awful trigger. Drag it through the muddy gritty 1st stage and by then you're asleep. No amount of tweaking will fix it what we're Crosman thinking? I've just bought a Cometa Fusion for the same money and the trigger is beautiful! Still a nicely built powerhouse which I doubt I'll sell it, and I'll probably look for a .22 aswell as I really do like it..a beast of an Airgun.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger trigger and the trigger.

    What others should know:

Not a backyard plonker unless you have a bit of land..way too powerful and build a good backstop.

    Things I liked:

I own this rifle in both .177 and .22 calibers. Both are very powerful air rifles, albeit the claims on the box are a bit exaggerated. The sound suppression seems to do a fine job. I find it to be accurate out to roughly 50 yards max, but your shot groups will be rather wide, so save those longer shots for larger prey. For best results keep your shots within 35-40 yards at max. 10 yard to 25 yard shots are the spot where you will get great shot groups that a US quarter will cover. You won't be getting dime groups like on a PCP, so forget that.

    Things I would have changed:

I would change the plastic trigger. The trigger, with an almost 6lb trigger pull is bit much, but it is a two stage trigger. I have yet to get the aftermarket triggers and install them. But, I eventually will. Just haven't researched them much.

    What others should know:

This rifle is a beast in both .177 and .22. However, one must know how to handle and shoot these the right way. It is not necessarily the artillery hold that you will need, but you just need to figure it out. Please ensure to break the rifle in with 100 -200 shots. Also find the right pellets, these rifles do like heavier pellets. Learn your right hold as well. Unfortunately, you may eventually blow out the included scope, which is to be expected. If you're on a budget get any of UTG Leapers Scopes or if you want to invest a bit more buy any of the Hawke Airmax Scopes. Both companies provide lifetime warranties and you get much better reticles some are even illuminated. Also, if you can't cock this rifle I would suggest finding a break barrel with less cocking effort or go ahead on up to the world of PCP's. Don't give up on this rifle! They do a great job for what they were designed to do.

    Things I liked:

The added grey grips on this gun are nice and do come in handy. The scope is decent for what it is. The accuracy, well once you find out what it likes its a beast. Also, this gun is pretty darn quiet for what it is. Is it backyard friendly? If you are hitting soft targets I'd say so but if you're shooting wood or steel, no it sounds like a hammer hitting it.

    Things I would have changed:

The vaporizer from what I have seen doesn't like light pellets at all. This gun is quite heafty also.

    What others should know:

from what I've found out so far, it doesn't like light pellets. At 25 yards all of the light pellets didn't do well at all. The only pellet I have found to owe up to this guns accuracy claims are the Crossman domed ultra heavy 19 grain. Now keep in mind every gun prefers something different. It definitely didn't like Crossman destroyer 14.3 gr Rws super h point 14.2 gr Rws superpoint extra 14.5 gr Crossman premier hp 14.3 gr Daisy wadcutters N&n barracuda match 21.14 gr N&n terminators 16.36 gr Rws superdome 14.5 gr I just ordered some new heavier weighted pellets so I will update when I have the chance. Happy shooting! P.s. it wouldn't let me give 4.5 stars.

    Things I liked:

With open sights it is very accurate. It is a very powerful air rifle. I have the 22cal and been using it for squirrel hunting.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is harsh. I replaced it with a after market kit which did make it a very nice to shoot

    What others should know:

When I first got it from Crosman it was a replacement they sent me to replace the Jim Shockey that I had. With the scope it sighted in pretty quick and shot tight groups for about a 100 rounds then went south. Could not get it to group again (terrible). I went to the open sights and had to learn how to shoot again with open sights, something I have not done in 40 years. It shoots very accurate. Taken many squirrels and a few coons. Dont know if it destroyed the scope or what happened there.

    What others should know:

The gun is very inaccurate. It is hard to hold a shot group the size of a pie plate at 20 yards. Have tried to sight in but is impossible. This gun is useless to me. I wasted my money.

    Things I would have changed:

Great rifle, so far, but a better trigger and better open sights would've made out a perfect break barrel for me. Open sights should've featured tru glo,or at least white dots.

    Things I would have changed:

It is a little bit heavy but tolerable. Make it shoot accurately.

    What others should know:

I bought this gun hoping it would be accurate. I struggle to keep the shot within a pie plate at 20 yards. Horrible accuracy. I wasted my money. Would not recommend this pellet gun to anyone who wants to hit anything with it.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is accurate and has some power to it! I use the H&N Barricuda Hunters Extreme and it is accurate and pounds hard! I am not joking. The trigger is okay it is heavy but you have to learn how to lean in to it. And know when its going to fire. The barrel has an intimidating look to it and theres a hole almost at the tip and dust comes out when you fire it which is pretty neat.

    Things I would have changed:

I would change the trigger just because it is really not smooth but I have learned how to use it and hold my breath and release when I fire. Also I would change the cheek pad because of the look.

    What others should know:

This rifle isnt really for young ones(I sound 90 but I am actually 28) because one it is heavy and two because it has a kick to it(recoil) so it might scare or bump the kid in the face I dont know ha but it is slightly heavy. Also I would recommend changing the scope because I couldnt sight it in right I dont know why but I bought one from Amazon 4X32E and it works and I zeroed it out and it is accurate and takes out doves, squirrels or other invasive or pests successfully and has power to it.

    Things I liked:

I was wanting a .177 gas piston rifle to add to my collection. I purchased the Gamo Swarm but returned it, could not get it to group at 20 yards. I picked this one up from a retail store and have just under 100 rounds through it so far ( 90 to be exact, yes I counted and yes I have all my targets). The db meter that I have on my phone registered mid 90s with the first few shots but, after about 70 shots it dropped to 87db. So it is quiet, also I can go up to 16 yards with my "indoor range" and was able to get groups in the sub 1" range. With a full break in it is shaping up to be vary accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The weight, this rifle is heavy, I wish they could make them lighter. That was one of the reason I bought the Swarm. So with a choice between light and inaccurate and heavy and a tack driver. I will take heavy and tack driver all day. It does come with sling mounts, I will be using them.

    What others should know:

The 3-9x40AO scope that comes with the rifle does not have mil-dots. It seems to be a good quality scope so far. Over all I would recommend the rifle.

    Things I liked:

Very quiet, this is my first air rifle and reading reviews of other guns, I thought it would make a lot more noise.

    Things I would have changed:

It's a little stiff to cock, but it may loosen a bit over time. It does a have a little kick to it, more than I thought it would. I need more practice with it to evaluate more.

    What others should know:

I have only shot less than 50 pellets at this point. After a couple of adjustments of the scope, it is pretty accurate (2" circle at 20 yards). I am shooting Air Arms Field Heavy .177 Cal, 4.52mm, 10.34 Grains (the only pellets I have). I have seen some difference in placements of shots, but am shooting from a less than ideal stand. I will update this review as I get more ammo through it, from a better firing situation.

Over great gun is consistently accurate. Scope is surprisingly good for a scope gun combo.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is garbage. It feels like pulling a rock across another rock. This was fixed by swapping the coil spring from an f250 they put in there with a lighter one from the hardware store. Easy fix but no reason for the factory to have done this. My old RWS was not at all like this.

    What others should know:

Good gun overall. Great gun once the trigger is fixed.

    Things I liked:

I actually received Benjamin Vaporizer SBD Air Rifle, NP Elite in .22 caliber about 3 weeks ago. I normally purchase 99% of my Airguns from PA. But I got a good early deal on this. I really like the CBT once I changed to a lighter trigger spring. It has a much defined two stage. I polished the trigger components and with the lighter spring it breaks at 2.5 lbs. The standard trigger really is not that bad at 5 lbs. The stock is really nice and the cocking effort is around 30 lbs., which is pretty easy.

    Things I would have changed:

The rifle does have a heavy recoil and could be damaging to most scopes. The stock scope is not bad, it is a 30-30 but I would prefer their mil-dot.

    What others should know:

I believe the rifle I received was defective in that the accuracy was subpar. I went through approximately 15 different pellets, weight, shapes, type etc. The best pellets were the 14.0 grain Meisterkuglen which grouped a little over 1" at 20 yards. It chrono'd at an average of 806 FPS (20 FPE), low of 797 FPS, a high of 823 FPS and StdDev 7.12. Again the trigger, once adjusted, is really nice. I put a Leapers UTG 4-16x44 AO Accushot SWAT Rifle Scope, EZ-TAP, Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 30mm Tube (PY-A-5191) which was a terrific fit for the Picatinny platform on this rifle. Unfortunately, I returned my rifle for a replacement and I hope the new one will yield much better accuracy. I will update my review once I receive the replacement.
