    Things I liked:

This Beretta M92A1 pistol is another very good replica by Umarex. I've been eagerly waiting for a blowback version of the Beretta M92 ever since I bought the Umarex Beretta M92FS pellet pistol. With the exception of plastic grips, the gun appears to be all metal. The single action trigger is short and crisp. I am going to rate the blowback as moderately strong because I have other blowback pistols that seem to have stronger blowback. This difference is also apparent in the shot count. In semi-auto mode, this Beretta M92A1 gets 85 to 90 shots per CO2 versus stronger blowback pistols that only get maybe 45 to 60 shots per CO2. The full auto mode of this Beretta M92A1 is a blast, but be careful with it when shooting indoors or BBs will ricochet everywhere! I especially like the availability of the mounting rail on the underside of the barrel.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have preferred to have a rear sight that is fully adjustable for elevation and windage, but a laser can be mounted to the rail to compensate for the non-adjustable sights.

    What others should know:

I tested this Beretta M92A1 with these BBs: Crosman Copperhead, Umarex Precision Steel, Daisy Premium, Daisy Avanti, Marksman Premium, and H&N Excite Smart Shot Copper plated Lead BBs. Similarly to what other reviews have reported, all shots were a few inches low and to the right of center. Shooting from a bench rested position, the best performing BB for me was the Umarex Precision Steel, and the worst performing BB was the Excite Smart Shot. I attached a CenterPoint Quick Acquisition laser sight to the under barrel rail. After sighting-in the laser, my shots were hitting mostly on the aim point. However, after a few shooting sessions, I'm not sure this CenterPoint laser is the best choice for this Beretta M92A1 because I had to readjust the laser several times to get shots back on the aim point.

This is a great gun! I love the full auto about it! The blow back is great, and the gun has the weight and look of the real Beretta.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see them change the spring loader for the bbs, you need to carry a small flat head or knife to hold the loader spring back. I would also like to see them change the way you load a co2, you have to carry a key tool with you and you have to be carful screwing it in.

I'll keep this short and simple since there are plenty of good in depth reviews all ready written. I like this gun so much that I just ordered a second one for a back up just incase they become hard to get. One of my favorites in my collection!

    Things I liked:

Real heavy, full auto, well built pistol , accurate within 15yrds , loud with great recoil on auto , this is the most fun I've every had with an airgun. Mags are easy to load , careful not to strip co2 threads. Stops firing when co2 is empty, hard spring slide . Nice quality and worth the money.

    Things I would have changed:

A less delicate trigger system , it fell apart trying to change grips and was very difficult to reassemble , once I put the original grips back on it worked fine. Do not fieldstrip , as the metal is not as strong as I would expect. Just oil slide and co2s.

    What others should know:

Performs best in warm weather, use Daisey or Umarex CO2s only , with zinc coated BBs. This is a double action gun so be extemely careful when loaded and CHECK THAT SAFETY ! 2-3 mags per single co2, load mag only to 18bbs and check the spring feeder latch before putting mag in. Use a high quality laser or light , laser doesn't help in full auto. Remember this is a BB gun and richochets will happen all over the place in full auto. use short controlled bursts !

    Things I liked:

I found this gun to be very well made and a fine replica of the real piece in size, weight and feel. The magazine spring has a locking detent for loading which is a distinct advantage over many other airguns I own. However, shot groupings at 20 and 30 feet, fall 3-4" low of center.

    Things I would have changed:

The slide rails and corresponding receiver surfaces are a little rough and even lubricated seem to produce more friction than ideal. While the owner is not encouraged to field strip or take down the slide and barrel assembly, I do in order to clean and lubricate all my guns properly. This Beretta, like some others of similar manufacture and quality, have small internal screws which are visible when the slide is removed. I find these screws tend to come loose after 100 shots or so and must be tightened. I add some loctite to keep them in place and check them often.

    What others should know:

Overall, this is a great gun for the price and I recommend it to any enthuiasist.

    Things I liked:

Very realistic. Look and feels like the original. The weight is on the heavy side but lives up to original. Smooth action and recoil.

    Things I would have changed:

Long pull on trigger before discharge. A bit heavy on the trigger pull. Way off with the sights, but accurate once locked in.

    What others should know:

Full auto left me grinning ear to ear. Empties a mag in seconds!

    Things I liked:

This is a tough review, lots of conflicting feelings. Appearances are great, the gun has heft & weight & visually looks like the real thing. Trigger is excellent, careful, it is lighter than expected. The gun came well lubed, and it needs it as the full auto mode will knock your socks off. Easy switch between semi & full auto, good safety & nice dot sights. The problem with mine is the gun shoots eight inches low and 5 inches to the left from only 20 feet...had to attach a red laser sight to get the point of impact in view, otherwise could not hit the side of a barn. The conflict is this: The thrill & purpose of this gun is full auto & when you engage that switch you will rock n' roll and can't contain the smiles. You only get 3 full clips of bb's with the use of 1 CO2 cartridge, but that was fully expected. I don't want to return it for accuracy as I did not buy it for that, I love the full auto action, I just wish the fixed sights were better. Are others sights off this much?

    Things I would have changed:

Make the fixed sights adjustable or otherwise manufacture the gun with much better accuracy. Everything else is great, once you figure where the bb's will go, you can kind of aim it, but the sights make that difficult and I had to install a laser to see what I would hit. Once I figured where it would hit I get about a 6 inch group from a full clip. The full auto shakes so much my laser constantly needs to be readjusted, I also prefer the look and feel of the gun without the laser.

    What others should know:

Keep the rails well lubed and this will fire great, I have been shooting daily for 2 weeks and it still works great, but has not gotten any more accurate, I also tried five brands of bb's, same results, a real scatter blaster, but man the power and thrill of the full auto makes up for a lot! On a warmer day I got 3.5 mags of shots, still eats CO2 but again, the power is amazing, fun to try to shoot short bursts, but the mag is empty in 2 seconds flat. Wish they would make that extended mag that was at one time going to be offered.

    Things I liked:

This gun is all that I hoped it would be. Looks and feel are so real. Even when you work the slide it sounds like the real thing. Shooting in full auto is just awesome.

    Things I would have changed:

If anything it would be the cap that pushes the co2 into lock or the follower that push the bbs into place. If you don't have a fingernail it is kind of hard to pull the follower down to load the bbs.

    What others should know:

Get a lot of bbs because full auto will eat them up, but you will love to shoot full auto.

    Things I liked:

This is a very realistic looking pistol. The action mirrors the real Beretta very well.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see in it offered in a blued-steel version, stainless version or with a quality nickle plating all-over. The way it is, black paint on the zinc casting, the finish won't be on it for very long. I've haven't fired it yet but with operating the action a dozen times has already rubbed off the finish in a few areas.

    What others should know:

    Nice workmanship and very authentic.

    Things I liked:

When I first saw this gun on the site I knew I had to have it for my collection. It was well worth the wait. I have four other Beretta replicas by Beeman, Umarex and ASG, but this is by far the best! Finally, a Beretta 92 in full auto. What a Blast!! This is my first pistol with full auto. The quality and the fit and finish are excellent, and the heft is very impressive, just like the original. It also has those white dot sights which I really prefer. The dropout mag also holds the CO2, is jam- free and is fairly easy to load compared to other models. It also adds to the authentic weight of this piece. The entire gun is full metal except for the grips which are plastic and heavily textured. This pistol is also single and double action; which is a nice touch. I have a Chiappa M9-22 Beretta clone in 22 cal. which is a dead ringer for this pistol, except for the grip logo. You cannot go wrong buying a Umarex replica gun. The quality and the value is second to none!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, but a 22 cal. pellet version would be nice.

    What others should know:

I added a UTG LS200 Red Sub-Compact Laser to the rail. Looks great, like it was made for this gun, and was a great buy for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

this gun needs more power - would have been nice to get at least 400fps -

    What others should know:

really fun to shoot - you cant put it down - I have 3 extra mags for it - don't care about accuracy with this one - just switch to auto and spray - very impressive look and action, but 310 fps is a bit of a let down for a gun that looks this good.

    Things I liked:

This "BB" gun will leave you with a big Smile on your face!, Excellent Weight & Feel to the weapon, Fits perfectly into any shoulder/leg holster, I purchased mine along with 2 spare magazines, and an ACU UTG shoulder holster, and the gun along with the 2 spare magazines fit Excellent, and is very Ergonomic when firing, and changing mag's. A full mag, and fresh cart will definitely not Dissapoint you,,,,,,,,or your "Drooling" friends!,,,,,,In just about a minute you can cut loose in "full-auto" & fire off all 3 of your fully loaded mags and get your-self a nice tight pattern on your target from around 25-30 ft, In semi-auto(single shot)mode this gun ,Again will not dissapoint you in the least regarding it's accuracy(Almost as good as a "Dedicated" pellet firing Co2 pistol), Well out to 50 ft, maybe more but the length of my yard is around 55 ft, So, When I get a chance to try it at further distance, I will revise my Review. GET more than 1 Mag!!!, It'll make your Day!

    Things I would have changed:

A Manual that's a bit more detailed!,,,,There's a "Latch/Switch" located on the left side of the weapon, that when in one position will let you fire "Normally", but when switched over, will "Fire" but your BB's will come flying out of the "Loading Port" like popcorn with the "Lid" off the cooker,LOL

    What others should know:

So far I've tried around 4-5 different Brands of BB's, Ranging from Daisy Zinc plated, Avanti "precision" ground, Umarex, Hornady "Black" Anodized, Air Venturi Steel, and lastly Crosman Copperheads(which left you with a target that looks like you took a .410 to it (in ingle shot mode!), and will only leave you dissapointed, and w/ a "Sour" taste in your mouth). As far as Accuracy goes, the Best choice for me was the "Avanti" rounds, followed by the Hornadys, and then the Umarex. I can't wait to try the ASG Blasters @ 5.4gr,. they may tighten up your groupings even more due to the extra weight.

An absolutely FANTASTIC PISTOL ! ! ! Performance is excellent ...The AUTOMATIC feature is breathtaking ! All of the full size BERRETTA features are faifully reproduced and are functional ! I did have to wait for it to be in stock , but is was worth it....

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine spring slide should be much easier to lock in place.....The paint on the gun is very easy to scratch , it should be more durable .....(I would suggest a flat black powder coated finish ). Perhaps that could be offered as an option.....These are NOT severe criticisms....Overall an excellent product ! ! !

If you are a BERETTA FAN,This replica is cannot be distinguished fro the REAL thing ! Buy it you will be satifisfied !

    Things I liked:

There is a lot to like! Solid metal construction everywhere. I think the grip panels are the only plastic on the whole pistol with the necessary exception of the magazine feed port. Everything else on the magazine is also solid metal construction. The barrel is brass. Temperatures are cool (upper 50's/low 60's) so I did not chronograph, but the power seems to be there at its rated velocity even now. The piercing unit of the magazine is rock solid and it really puts a large hole in the face of the CO2 cartridge. It probably needs the full flow when firing full auto! It did so without a single jam or mis-fire through the four magazines I put through it in this mode. Semi auto was flawless as well. The finish is a satin matte black. I found no wear on the rails after use, but did note one small area of the frame under the safety lever that apparently was making contact with the safety when it was being fired full-auto. It was noticed when I put it back on the safe position.

    Things I would have changed:

The non-adjustable sights. It simply is unreasonable to expect that every pistol will shoot to point of aim off the assembly line. Mine shot close on windage but 2 inches low at 10 yards. Low is especially bad, because you can not compensate the aim without cheating the front sight up (how consistent can you be doing that?) or blotting out the target on a standard but high hold. (Totally not gonna work!) The grouping ability of the pistol is very good, so adjustable sights would be a big positive, and at this price point an adjustable dovetailed blade such as exists for the Walther P-88 could hardly raise the price point if they had made the frame that way in the first place. That gives you the option of windage with the stock sight, and the option to go with a different height to correct elevation. At least they put the rail under the frame allowing the installation of a laser sight, which I did as soon as I discovered the sights were not going to be useful as they were.

    What others should know:

I used the LaserMax Spartan green laser. Cost as much as the pistol but I do not go cheap with my sighting options on quality guns. This pistol deserves better than a cheap laser that may not stand up to the vibration of the blow-back action or hold zero. This particular laser sight is inconvenient to install due to the design, (which I can not see the benefit of) but it has precise and tight movement in its adjustment and was rock solid after mounting and never drifted from its zero. (I do not believe it is sold by Pyramyd, so I got it elsewhere.) After the laser was adjusted to the consistent impact point of the BB's from this pistol, I was able to pop the 1-1/4" diameter cap from a milk jug at 10 yards with a hit ratio of over 90%! This pistol has the accuracy, shame that it did not have the sights to use it as it came from the factory. Thus, 4 stars. There also is some wear showing at the exit port of the magazine, possibly due to full-auto frictional heat? I will add notes later.

    Things I liked:

Fully automatic mode!! Metal Construction. Weight and feel close to the firearm. Acceptable level of accuracy at 20-33 feet for serious practice. Slide remaining open after the clip empties the last BB and when CO2 is exhausted.

    Things I would have changed:

Manufacturer should use a more durable black coating. After only a short amount of usage, I can already see areas that now show slight wear appearing in the finish, especially on the Safety levers. Accessory 18 BBs clips are too expensive.

    What others should know:

The CO2 cartridge is housed in the clip and held in place by a screw-in plug which requires the use of an Allen wrench (supplied) and very careful, proper alignment to be engaged or wearing or even stripping of the soft metal threads may result.

    Things I liked:

It looks fantastic and it's all metal, that's always a big plus in my opinion. The FULL auto feature is a lot of fun.

    Things I would have changed:

Horribly underpowered! The website says 330 fps, the literature says 310 fps, but I'd wager it's ~300 or less. At anything more than 15/16 ft I was lucky to hit the bottom of my target backstop. Adjustable sights would go a long way toward making this feel like more value for the buck. I hate to sound sour but aside from the full auto function there's not much separating this from other less expensive guns.

    What others should know:

The hex nut at the bottom of the flip to contain the Co2 cylinder isn't fully round. The sides are squared off which can make getting it threaded a bit tricky. Mine kept wanting to tuck into the hole rather than thread. It eats Co2 rather ravenously even in single shot mode. I want to reiterate, the entire length of my "range" is only 23 feet. To date, this is the ONLY gun I own that can't travel that distance. I waited two weeks for this. Huge disappointment.
