    Things I liked:

Fun to shoot especially with red dot sight. Accurate for the money

    What others should know:

Make sure you buy the barrel adapter before you add optics. Be careful of finger pinch when pumping

    Things I liked:

    The price and accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

A slightly larger pumping lever. You have to be careful not to pinch yourself.

    What others should know:

I am glad to see that a black version (PC77) is available. I bought the brown version. This was a great investment for me as I sometimes shoot a 9mm firearm.
I can practice, practice, practice with the Crosman in my basement at 20-25 feet and apply that routine at the range. My Ruger P95 (loaded) is 34 ounces...The Crosman is 31 ounces. Recoil on the 9mm is obviously a major difference...but the ability to practice on the cheap with Beeman Hollowpoint pellets has me smiling.

This is such an awesome pistol to maintain real firearms skills. The only down side is the time that it takes to reload and the "effort" to pump it up.

Also, I am very tempted to get some aftermarket wood grips and cocking lever.

There just some much to do to customize this pistol. Simply one of Crosman's best.

    Things I liked:

The price:quality is superb! I added some RB wooden grips and super pumper which makes it quite comfortable to handle and is still quite inexpensive.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if it came in a .22, I would have bought that if available, I might upgrade with parts later. I might upgrade the sights at some point.

    Things I liked:

This air pistol is fun to shoot, accurate and powerful for the money. Also, by varying the number of pumps, you can control the power of your shots. I can shoot it indoors brcause I can tone it down by pumping less. I absolutely enjoy this airgun.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have happily paid a littlr more for better quality grips. The lever action is pretty hard, so you get a good workout pumping it up. You have to watch how you grip the lever so you don't pinch your hand on the lever. Thats where some better grips would help.

    What others should know:

I would'nt go with wadcutters, as they're a pain to load in the chamber. I'm going to try some domed and pointed pellets. That having been said, if you're really set on wadcutters, you can get the knack of inserting them. You'll have a ball with this pistol no matter what!

    Things I liked:

easy to use, loads nicely and accurate in 30 ft range, holds a pattern as best an old guy can shoot. trouble free as a new gun.

    Things I would have changed:

improve the handle to cock the gun...not careful you can pinch the side of your hand as you close the pump.

    Things I liked:

Very great pisot for practice. It has a 10" barrle for great accuracy, and it is variable pump for diferent velocities. Great for Bullseye target shooting. And at Pyramydiar the price is the best around. Does 10m/25ft target shooting well. Dimed a few bullseyes with cheap wadcutters and a bench rest, so I know this pistol can shoot. Noise is low and it is great for indoor practice with 5 pumps. Received it in 3 shipping days, great service from Pyramydair.

    Things I would have changed:

There is not much to change. However, if they could make bigger grips it would be nice, and an all steel sights. But then the price would be higher. If anyone want's to change this pistol, there are a lot of aftermarket parts to coustomize it. I seen some cool ones on the youtube.

    What others should know:

I found Crosman and Bemman wadcutters work well with this pistol, and 4 to 6 pumps gives me the best accuracy with them. I took the advice of previous reviews and oiled the pistol on occasion to keep it accurate, and swabbed the barrel out after 250 shots. I tried the heavy Crosman Premier Ultra Mag and the Primer Hollow point, and both did not do so well with 6 pumps at 25ft. However I am impressed at the accuracy of the Crosman Competition Wadcutter. The trigger is not that smooth, but the pull is less than most spring air rifles under $300. There are a lot of aftermarket parts that will coustomize this pistol to fit any shooters need, or to improve whatever a shooter wants. This pistol makes for a great indoor practice pistol. It is one of the best values around.

    Things I liked:

These are great little pistols. Five or 6 pumps are all you need to plink cans etc. I notice a lot of complaints about the plastic grips but they fit my hand well and I don't know of many pistols in this price range with wooden grips.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Here's an inexpensive way to improve accuracy that I haven't seen mentioned by others. You can invert the rear sight to make it a peep sight but I found the aperture to be too small. (It might be set up for use with a shoulder stock) I drilled it out a little and painted it white. You can also experiment with painting different colors on the front sight. If you don't like the white you can turn it over back to black.

    Things I liked:

Am in the process of getting comfortable with our new Crosman 1377's.The accuracy is amazing within just the first several shots out of the box! The pellet pistol is very long which is a fun characteristic. Charging the 1377 is quite a work out!

    Things I would have changed:

The pumping is quite a work out! The sights are fair, but will investigate aftermarket sights for plinking and target shooting at longer ranges.

    What others should know:

The Crosman 1377 is loads of fun. its FUNKY! ...also PYRAMDAIR great to shop at, and will return!

    Things I liked:

The accuracy of this gun is just awesome. For a pistol, it has a nice long sight radius. Looking at the pix, you'd think it would be too muzzle heavy, but if you're used to powderburners, it isn't at all. The variable power and lack of a thirst for CO2 are definite advantages of this "American Classic" or "Pumpmaster Classic" as they're calling it now. I like that the open rear sight can be flipped to an aperture sight for when I mount the optional stock. It makes it very easy to hit the target.

    Things I would have changed:

The pumping arm should be bigger, so it isn't so easy to pinch one's fingers while pumping. The rear sight, as was mentioned before, does not have enough adjustability; it doesn't go low enough for shooting at 5-10 yards. Also, it is held in place by a screw threaded into soft plastic. VERY easy to strip, be careful. I don't mind the plastic breech, or the plastic rear sight, but the screw threading into plastic is just a horrible nasty idea. It saves Crosman 2 cents, but ticks off customers. Even with the plastic breech, it would have been nice if they molded in slots for scope mounting. Maybe just using a harder, more durable plastic is the answer to all the woes. Like a glass-filled nylon or polycarbonate. It would also be nice if they designed the optional shoulder stock to more quickly attach and detach to make this into a true backpacker's gun.

    What others should know:

To get the most out of this gun, get the Crosman shoulder stock too. It is made of a good solid plastic and is quite durable. It easily triples the accuracy potential of this gun. As usual, Crosman was ... "optimistic"... about the published velocity numbers of this gun. I didn't see anywhere near 600 fps, even with lightweight 7.0 gr. RWS Hobby pellets. With that pellet, it yields ~360 fps @ 3 pumps, ~422 fps @ 5 pumps, and ~510 fps at 10 pumps. Only with alloy pellets or with modifications will this be a 600 fps gun. Buyers of this gun should know there is a healthy aftermarket for this gun. It is amazing, but enthusiasts buy this $55 gun, then put hundreds of dollars into modding it to be just what they want. Longer barrels, steel breeches, flat top pistons and valves, you name it. Crosman sells a steel breech through their custom shop on their sight that will allow scope mounting without the cheezy barrel clamp jig Crosman sells separately. Independent machinists also make them. If you like this gun, also take a look at the 2240. It is a CO2 gun in 22 caliber that has just as much of a cult following as this one does. The bolt action is much nicer than the old first generation setup where it had to be cocked separately. Anyway, I'd buy this gun again in a heartbeat.

    Things I liked:

This gun is alot of fun. I was not into pellets much until I shot this sweet multy pump pistol, more like a mini rifle, its so accurate and I purchased a reman. I was a little unsure so I figured what the heck I'll try it. It took about an hour for me to find the little ding, which was so slight it in no way effected the accuracy of this great gun.

    Things I would have changed:

YEAH,only one thing I would devote more space for all the extras I would design for this American Classic. Including scopes, stocks, and colors: camo, woodland digital, army green, graffiti, well maybe not this one, but you get the idea.

    What others should know:

If your a first time buyer you won't be disappointed
by this gun. If you only like repeapers like me this gun will change your mind. It's powerful and did I mention accurate. Oh yeah one more thing buy pellets,
lots of pellets this gun is fun. I know the gun says 2-10 pumps I recomend at least 4 pumps for best low power shot. I'm using Beeman pointed pellets 5.1 grn.
Longer than some other pellets, making for better accuracy.

It is nice not haveing the recoil of a springer, Over all it is the best value for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

I would really like to have wood grips.

    What others should know:

Im getting quarter size groups from average pellets @ 10yds. I bought a refurb. it had a barely visiable mark on the barrel other then that it looks and performs like new.

    Things I liked:

This was a remanufactured air pistol, but from all indications it was as good as they come!…no scrapes, dings or dents, just a somewhat weak rear sight that was easily (?) taken care of. All in all a really nice air pistol for a really low price.

    Things I would have changed:

The rear sight was the only thing I had to fool with…I files the adjustment slot almost to where it broke thru to the retainer hole, but not quite. Also, I added some walnut RB grips which changed it to a really neat object.

    What others should know:

I have been using 5-6 pumps at 10 meters, and it does really well.

Low price! Very good value for money. Accurate, lots of aftermarket mods/accessories available for those interested in modding it.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much at this price. Better grips - the plastic grips not that great but wooden grips would probably make it more expensive. Breech is plastic but metal ones available to upgrade.

    What others should know:

Just buy it if you are looking for low priced Air Pistol!
