    Things I liked:

Much better air pistol than I thought I was getting. Can't beat the value for price paid, $32 bucks for the remanufactured version. This pistol is really accurate and with 10 pumps hits very hard.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price paid....not one thing!

    What others should know:

This pistol is definitely old school but who cares? Well made, rugged and not as heavy as it appears. Buy this gun from Pyramyd and get way more fun than you paid for.

    Things I liked:

i grew up shooing this model ..... and i love it, and even though Crosman made some changes to the gun since then, i still like this gun

    Things I would have changed:

i hate pellets ....... Crosman was to cheap to add a 5 cent magnet, so it could shoot both pellets and bb's .... like the older style of this gun could do. so i would just add a magnet and the gun would be perfect once again.

    What others should know:

it only shoot pellets .......... Crosman was to cheap to add a magnet .... but other then that still a great gun for a single shoot, hand load, but i grew up shooting the older style of this it had a magnet so you could shoot both, you still had to hand load every round in it too, so that was not a big deal .... still a good gun love the updated bolt action, just wish Crosman had add a magnet so it would shoot bb's too... but if you like pellets ...... this is a great must have gun.

    Things I liked:

Great gun for the money, shoots good with every pellet iv'e tried 1/2 inch groups 30 feet with crosman premier hp's. Sights cheap but fully adjustable.

    Things I would have changed:

Don't like all the plastic but you can't have al metal and wood for $55 . Lighter trigger pull would be nice, but trigger ok.

    What others should know:

Don't torque the sight screws to much.

    Things I liked:

    power and accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

    the cheap sights and breech

    What others should know:

the front sight is plastic and mine was permanently crooked slightly to the left. I think it was from being packaged for so long. I put the extended stock and steel breech on it with a red dot and it is great now.

    Things I liked:

Long sight radius and good comfortable weight. Accurate. Shooting 6" coffee can lids at thirty yards no problem. From a rest those lids consistently dented at forty yards. Have to try the peep sight; I bet fifty yards or more would be possible.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger creep and could be lighter pull.

    What others should know:

Way fun to shoot. Cola cans were made for this one.

    Things I liked:

Everything!! This is my second 1377 I also own an Old model that was cocked at the rear of the receiver. This piece is incredibly accurate, not to mention Very Powerful.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!

    What others should know:

I have since replaced the receiver on my Old Mdl.1377 with the steel crosman receiver. My Old Mdl. is still going strong. It is best with pneumatic airguns to store them with one or two pumps left in the airgun to protect the seals and powerplant.

    Things I liked:

12" sight radius, very good accuracy. Capable of groups covered by a dime at 25' with the supplied blade and notch sights. Variable power for shooting indoors and outdoors.

    Things I would have changed:

Micrometer rear sight with elevation and windage adjustments as stamdard.

    What others should know:

Get the optional shoulder stock and you have a compact rifle. I own quite a few air guns and love the repeaters but if I had to get rid of all the airguns, this one would be the last to go.

    Things I liked:

Probably the best all around air gun I own. No CO2 to load and unload, easy to pump, 12" sight radius, very accurate (one jagged hole at 20') with the iron sights, better power than most CO2 guns. With the optional shoulder stock, almost as good as a rifle but a lot handier. It can't be beat for the price!

    Things I would have changed:

A little better rear sight, maybe click adjustable.

    What others should know:

If you don't have one, get one.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is better than I am. And it's accurate with a lot of different pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Larger grip would have suited me but I can get that elsewhere.

    What others should know:

My particular gun had the front sights off to the left; however there was enough room on the rear sight to compensate for it.

    Things I liked:

The pistol is accurate and easy to use. It does not require too much effort to pump and the sights are adequate. The shooter can use different types of pellets and get good results. It's a fun gun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

The pistol is light and takes some time to adjust your shooting technique to get good accuracy.

    What others should know:

    Good buy for the money.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy seems quite good. It helps to pump this gun to the same number of pumps and practice at this pressure. I like to use 5 pumps and shoot up to about 10 yards away as practice. It is not too hard for me to pump; however, it may be more difficult for a preteen or .... The rear sight can be flipped upside down as it has a peep opening. I did not expect this but I found it to be the preferred setup. I think this is an excellent value.

    Things I would have changed:

To use the peep rear sight, I ground out the slot in the rear sight slightly. This allowed for the sight window suggested. The trigger may be a little stiff for some. It did not find it too stiff.

    Things I liked:

Overall I like the pistol and enjoy shooting it. It is easy to use, the accuracy for a pellet pistol is excellent. I put a Crosman 0290 Red Dot Sight on it and using the Avanti Diablo Match Pellets and it handles very well. It has the speed for an air pistol. For the price I don't think it can be matched.

    Things I would have changed:

At this time there is nothing I would change.

    What others should know:

If you do not have a Crosman 1377C, YOU SHOULD.

i like the looks, the feel and the value of this product. i own the bb version of this air gun the 1377. i have enjoyed it for several years. it's a lot of gun for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

the sights need to be easier to see indoors. i like to target practice indoors during bad weather.

    Things I liked:

THIS AIRPISTOL SHOULD HAVE A NUMBER 1 RATING ANYWHERE,I HAVE OTHER REVIEWS ON THIS PAGE ABOUT THIS PISTOL. BEST GUN MADE BY CROSMAN HANDS DOWN. POWERFUL ACCURATE AND HUGE VALUE FOR THE MONEY. IVE SHOT AIR AND CO2 PISTOLS MOSTLY BY CROSMAN SINCE 1968, AND THERE IS NONE BETTER. COMPETION ACCURACY, POWER, NICE TO SHOOT ,WHAT ELSE DO YA NEED-ITS A BEAUTY.

    Things I would have changed:

    NOTHING

    What others should know:

KEEP ONE PUMP IN THE GUN WHEN NOT IN USE TO PROTECT THE SEAL AND POWERPLANT. REMEMBER TO USE PELLGUN OIL AS DIRECTED, THIS IS IMPORTANT. KEEP THIS PISTOL AWAY FROM ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 AND THAT PERSON SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DEALING WITH WHEN THEY FIRE THIS WEAPON. ITS CONSIDERED A FIREARM IN THE U.K. AND CANADA.

    Things I liked:

The new bolt action versus the original style "hood" found on earlier models to access the chamber is huge improvement for me! I used my brother's pistol for many years and didn't like how the loading and cocking was done in 2 steps. The sights were off right out of the box, but when I centered the sights, my first shot was a perfect bulls eye! Nice gun!

    Things I would have changed:

Considering how well built this is, the only thing I plan on replacing are the plastic grips with some real wood grips to help with the handling.

    What others should know:

Be careful while pumping this up, I already got pinched and have a blood blister on the tip of my finger =(. Oh well, no biggie. Just be careful.

    Things I liked:

The new 1377C has an excelent construction and easyto modify.Reliable, accurate and NO MORE CO2!So easy to work with. I love this airgun. It is an old time classic.

    Things I would have changed:

I like it as is but will love it in .22 cal Can be worked to do so! The pumping action "SQUEEKS"a little. It should be gone with use(I hope). My old model didn't squeek at all. Scopes mounts if possible. But you can buy and adapt one easy.

    What others should know:

Plastic breech can be change to metal in the new 1377c Model. Can find parts to "HOTROD"it on the web.Grips, triggers, and so on. Yu can work it yourself with the correct tools and experience.Really easy to mantain and keep. Carefull with the trigger safety pin since it can be push off easily and accidents can happen. Be safe and use proper caution with thi medium power airgun. It goes to 625 fps easy with proper weight pellets.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy and Modification Potential. I like the simplicity of it all.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Half of the fun is making replacement parts so keep it as cheap as possible.

    What others should know:

Accuracy is good after tweaking the sights. It has a slight recoil because the trigger releases a small spring piston to pop open the exhaust valve

    1. Modify the trigger mechanism by polishing and lubricating. (Use a good moly based lube). Also, as other reviewers have stated, yield the spring underneath the grips by compressing it closed in a vice. All of this makes the trigger very light.

    2. Currently making grips using a jigsaw, Dremel, drill, and sandpaper. (Cut blanks using the jig saw. Pocket the blanks to fit the frame using the Dremel's router attachment. Paint the stubs and threaded hole on the frame and press blanks against the frame to transfer hole positions while the paint is still wet. Drill. Screw blanks to frame and trace frame outline. Use dremel sanding drums to contour the blanks to the final shape. Smooth with sandpaper.) Did one side. Need to do the other side now.

    3. Bought a steel breech from Crosman. Will install it after the grips are done. The gun really doesn't need it but I like steel better than plastic.

    Things I liked:

    Almost everything

    Things I would have changed:

Its got a weird feel as you depress the trigger and the air launches the pellet. It was kind of annoying but you get used to it. Other than that everything else is great!

    What others should know:

It shoots PELLETS not BB's. I didn't read the description as well as I should have and it took me a minute to realize it did not shoot BB's.

i had this model a long time ago when they had wood handles.is was stolen from my car. the new one is just as good.very accurate and powerful.made well.good for pest and target shooting, lots of fun to shot.10 pumps gives this the power you need for any type of shooting.for the money this gun is a winner.

    Things I would have changed:

bring bach the wood! or make a limited edition with wood.

    What others should know:

dont pump more then 10 times, they tell you that for a good reason.
