    Things I liked:

Closest thing to my father''s Crosman 120 from the late 50s. Great feel, shots per cartridge. I was really experimenting as the only other airgun(s) I have used are pump action. The bolt action is nice and crisp with a full uncock, and a partial uncock for loading. Shoots all pellets I have tried well. Good for limited space use, when I feel like going to the range I can spend 15 minutes and satisfy that urge.

    Things I would have changed:

I did not realize until reading here how unusual the Crosman trigger is. There are no issues--this one is just like my 1957 Crosman 120. That's what I learned to shoot with, and anything less than a .25 pellet doesn't feel real to me. I did paint the front ramp site white. I'm considering painting the rear site to contrast as when it is dim, hard to see the front sight. How about option of tritium white sights?

    What others should know:

This might seem to simple for some--I don't need a "replica" as what I have is an updated 120, in my opinion. These grips are very ergonomic, the pistol is metal, and it is so similar to the 120 it is almost like no change.

Somewhere in the catalog I read about putting a drop of Pellgun oil on the top of a cartridge before putting in a new one. That seems a good idea. At one point I had to have an expert replace the silicon rings in my 57 120. Otherwise, I would call this pistol a bit more serious than "plinking" with a .177--which I have done, but retired those pieces as they were not satisfactory to use.

    Things I liked:

heavy feeling. mostly metal. comfy in the hands. this is my 2nd pellet gun after owning the 1322 pump version. i wanted something similar to the 1322 as i really like the way the gun performed was very satisfied with the 2240. once dialed in the gun is very accurate and easy to use for someone who is new to pellet pistols like me.

    Things I would have changed:

not a huge fan of the plastic front and rear sights. they work just wished they sold a full metal version of this gun. it seems to go through CO2 faster than advertised but the power it offers does offset this a bit. it can blow holes through wood pickets easily at 15 yards so dont let stray shots happen too often in the backyard.

    What others should know:

i got this pistol to take care of some huge rats that were becoming an issue on the property. the rat issue was quickly solved and was downing the rats instantly using crosman hollow point pellets.

    Things I liked:

As advertised. Got the pistol, the steel breech kit, the LPA sight, the 14 inch barrel and the 760 front sight. Took 30 minutes to assemble, no problems. Looks wicked cool, hits with authority (blows through 3/4 pine) and hits what I aim at.

    Things I would have changed:

Well, you have to buy all the stuff above...

    What others should know:

The fiber optic 760 front matches excellently with the white dot LPA rear. The additional height is perfect. Three dots in a row and the target is toast.

    Things I liked:

This pistol is a lot heavier than I first expected. With the addition of the Corcoran Walnut Target Grips, this air pistol fills the hand quite nicely. For the price. this is a superb pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have liked it to have the metal receiver with the scope dovetails. I understand it would raise the price some, but I will be buying one anyway for it. I guess they feel they can charge more for it if it is seperate.

    What others should know:

Even with the plastic receiver, this is a superb pistol.
Now as for Pyramyd Air, I have been doing business with them for a very long time and have found that their service has gone down some. It is also apparent they are no longer hungry as they are no longer open on Saturdays any more. I would highly recommend that if you have the option of upgrading the shipping, do such. If not, there is no telling when you will get whatever you ordered. To ship this air pistol from Ohio to Virginia took sixteen days. It does not take that long to get anything from the airgun retailer in the Southwest USA. That was ridiculous.

    Things I liked:

I own a couple of carbines based on the 2240 frame. I purchased these some years ago from the Crosman Custom shop. They have all the bells and whistles. Wooden stocks, steel breeches, nice sights etc. However, I missed the simplicity and excellence of a stock 2240 pistol. (The 2240 stock pistol I had purchased used many years ago simply gave up the ghost.) I decided to buy a new one. I like it as much as the fancier versions. Put simply, it works - and works well. It is a time tested design and I expect it to last for some time. It has a great (light) weight and "feel."

    Things I would have changed:

As said above, I have indeed changed things. However, each time you do, the gun gets heavier and less elegant.

    What others should know:

You cannot buy a better pistol in this price range.

    What others should know:

Probably the most easily modified co2 pellet pistol.

    Things I liked:

Awesome pellet pistol! Nice trigger, and a classic design. And Pyramid Air shipped right away!

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if Crosman were to make this pistol so it could accept a magazine. I dont think it would take much to incorporate one in the design.

    What others should know:

I bought this for pest control around the hen house. I added a shoulder stock to it and it makes for a nice steady platform. This particular pistol performs very well with the H&N Silver Point pellets, and I would say I can get about 50 or so shots per CO2 cartridge. Very happy with my purchase.

    Things I liked:

Super low price for what you get. Very accurate using cheap crosman hollow points. Good grip, feels good in the hand. Overall I would highly recommend this gun, lots of fun on the cheap.

    Things I would have changed:

Only thing I would like to see is a repeater option.

    What others should know:

I didn't like the fixed sights so add a red dot....way better. You need to either order the barrel 11mm rails to do this or get the one with a steel breach. Also, trigger is not great but again for the price is ok. However I did a super simple mod and replaced the seer spring to a lighter one and now trigger pull is ounces.

    Things I liked:

I like the modular nature of the 2240 CO2 pistol. I never fired the actual gun because as soon as I received it I tore it apart and added..... Boss CO2 valve. 2240 to 2250 conversion kit. 14.6 inch barrel. Poly Tube mod. Custom Stock Stash bag in the 1399 stock. Hand made paracord sling. The airgun is now shooting over 100 fps faster than stock and is extremely accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

I changed almost everything! But the 2240 is a fine airgun as is.

    What others should know:

At just 72 degrees Fahrenheit I shot a 14.3 grain Crosman Premier pellet at 580 fps. The modded gun will only get more powerful at higher temperatures.

    Things I liked:

The accuracy of this air pistol, and the decent power that it provides. The Crosman 2240 is a simple design airgun, and seems to be durable too. Also, a huge amount of add ons are available for the 2240, which is a big plus.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a thing, I like everything about it.

    What others should know:

I am new to air guns, but I would tell other air gunners to make sure that the Crosman 2240 is lubricated properly to keep it operating at peak level.
