when i good it i thought it was going to be a piece of crap and break soon but i have had for a year and nothing has broke and still impressed with everything

Not the Daisy I had some 60 years ago. This is extremely well made, feels like the weight of the Garand. A toy that's not a toy. My son, a fighter pilot in the Navy, scoped the sights in for me and found them to be dead on, not just close. My wife also has no problems using it.

I guess I'm a woos, but I have some difficulty cocking it, lack of arm strength.

Squirels laugh very loud, whenever I use the rifle.

The gun is very powerful for what it is and I'm very impressed with it's stopping power.

Accuracy is right on. This gun is a tack driver and will shoot .75" groups all day long at 60' using the JSB EXACT Diabolo in 8.4 gr.

The finish on the stock is poor and looks like laminate and the scope is bottom of the barrel. But hey, you get what you pay for. Scope mounts should be see thru.

I do not know if all of the quests are like this one but I cannot break the barrel without hitting down on it or breaking it over my knee. Hopefully, it will loosen up. The trigger assembly really sucks so a new GRT-111 is in order. I noticed that this particular gun is really not prone to inaccuracy because of recoil and torque which is common in springers. Shoots wonderful with the above mentioned pellets. Throw the scope away and use the bare sights or buy a different scope. The one that came with it is junk! With PYRAMID AIR,s discount coupon the gun is well worth the money spent. If you want to spend the extra money, you can have an airgunsmith Turbo Tune this low end gun and you will have a gun that shoots and performs as well as guns costing three times what you would have in it when it is all said and done.

Value, power, cocking ease. I am very happy with the value this rifle combo delivered. I purchased the Quest 1000 with Center Point 4x32 scope. I mounted and sighted the scope upon first use, so I can not comment on the sights. I had the scope sighted but was not happy with the performance using the variety of pellets on hand. I then ordered RWS Meisterkugeln Standard .177 Cal, 8.2 Grains Wadcutter; RWS Superdome .177 Cal, 8.3 Grains Domed and JSB Match Diabolo Exact .177 Cal, 8.4 Grains Domed. All of these pellets perform very well with my Quest. I observed slightly better result with both of the RWS selections above vs the JSB but all are very acceptable. I re-sighted the gun with the better pellets and can consistently get 1" groups at 30 yards. I can also consistently plink pop cans at 50 to 60 yards. The gun was shooting through 1/2" plywood at 30 yards. Took a sparrow at approximately 40 yards. Immediate one shot kill. I have not had the opportunity to take aim at any chip monks or tree rats yet. I believe this rifle will provide humane one shot kills for both. My rifle packaging was advertised with a new/improved trigger. It is a cast metal trigger but I have no basis for comparison to the old trigger. The scope has stayed tight after more than 1200 shots. The rings have two screws each to mount to the dovetails vs one screw each.

The finish on the stock. I would prefer a darker finish to the wood stock. Other than that nothing.

I do not have any complaints. I am not an experienced air rifle shooter and am very happy with the initial performance of this rifle. This rifle has exceeded my expectations for the price. I recommend this rifle for anyone that wants a low cost every day shooter for plinking or light hunting.

Light, very easy to cock, feels great in the hands and while shouldered, very quiet, accurate, rubber butt pad, wood looks good but shows potential to be worked with, even bluing, minimal recoil, pretty forgiving with hold sensitivity

Trigger seemed a bit stiff so I took the entire thing off and put one from a different gun on it. Maybe an AO scope even with fixed magnification would be nice

After putting a fair amount of rounds through this gun I can honestly say I wish I'd bought one of these instead of a Big Cat last year. Before any shooting she got taken completely apart and there were no burrs that needed sanding, just had to wipe some excess oil from the spring and that was that, didn't even diesel the first shot. Forgot to put lock tite on the hinge bolt and it's still tight. The barrel was so dirty out of the box that it looked like it hardly had any rifling. So far have only tried Crosman wadcutters, HP's, and FH's, and Gamo Raptors and Hunters, and the only ones that didn't group well were the wadcutters. Haven't done much long range shooting with them but the FH's and Raptors showed good groups at 30 yards. The recoil is very small, in fact I can keep an eye on the target through the scope after a shot. Even though this is a springer and subject to hold sensitivity, I can rest the barrel on a window sill and still hit birds where I aim. It likes to be held a little firmly against the shoulder with the trigger hand. All in all I'd say this is probably the best gun in the caliber and power range for the money and would recommend hands down to any newcomer or experienced shooter

i like the safety, i don't have to look to see where it's at.for as fast as it shoots it's pretty easy to pump.

the things i would change would be that the sights would be smaller. i think there to big because i like to shoot long range shots.You can't see the target at long ranges.

You should always keep this gun inside, i left mine outside and with in a few days i found rust on it.It took me about 200 shots or 1hr and 45 min to sight in.

This is a quality product well done.

I could not think of a single change to improve this product.

Easy to cock and load. Power is crazy... I can shoot through 3/4 plywood or through a squirrel's head. Accuracy is a steady nickel to dime grouping at 45 feet with the scope.

Charge a little more and use a better scope. Provide cleaning rods/kit with the gun.

Be patient when sighting in the scope. I readjusted the sights about 10 times, before it held consistency. Clean the gun just like you would any other gun, i.e. .22, etc..

I looooooove the scope and the accuracy of the rifle. It's a great gun. I've killed 7 birds in one afternoon!!! If you want an affordable breakbarrel air rifle, then the Crosman Quest 1000x has your name written all over it!!

There is only one thing I would changed, would be if the wood would be glossed, but it really doesn't matter, it's still fine the way it is.

I would recommend the Crosman Quest 1000x to any airgunner who likes plinking or small game hunting

this is a very good gun for both accuracy and value for money.

the scope it comes with isn't the best in the world and i had some troubles sighting it in. i went and picked up a pronghorn scope for around 30 dollars and had it shooting just fine.

it is a very reliable gun and sturdy gun, i bit loud but nothing the neighbors cant handle. dropped a squirrel at 30 yards with it today very powerful.

the weight and the feel to the rifle . it hits really hard and has a pretty hard recoil. the scope is not bad i just need help how to sight it in ..can someone tell me please?

if you want a great rifle at a low low cost then this is what you should go for, I have shot many birds, and a rabbit at a vary impresive distance with this air gun so im very happy and like i said a great price to, but you need to really put a better scope on it if you want good accuracy

i like everything about this rifle.i have owned many pellet rifles over many years ,beeman,rws,daisy,gamo,bengiman,sherdian and now crossman.the 2 rws i have are great ,but conseridering price the crossman is a better bargin.my crossman 1000x from pyramydair recently purchased shoots harder and more accurate than my gamo big cat.the crossman was shooting good groups after 20 shots .the trigger pull and scope of which some reviews have complained ,i have had no problems!

manufacture should include a small amount of chamber oil so the owner will know what to use and will assure their rifle is started out with the proper maintaince to last a long time.

springers are a little harder to shoot accurate than a ,say co2 ,pump,or a regular fire arm ! so dont get upset if you are new to springers and not grouping well,it will get better.i use crossman premier 10.5 gr.they are great.

I like the feel,looks,quality and accuracy.really did not know this gun was made in china until i received it.i got a good surprise .

maybe send a sample of premier hollowpoint pellets to get the buyer started out with the right ammo.

pellet rifles are much harder to shoot accurately than other guns,so dont get discouraged to quickly.and do as i do and look to Pyramydair for all your air gun needs.

i just recently purchased my 1000x from of course pyramydair and i like everything about this gun.i also have a gamo big cat the crossman is more powerful and accurate.i only deal with pyramydair for all air gun needs.they cannot be beat.

i cannot see anything to change.

if it is youre first springer give it a chance for you to learn to hold it,springers are harder to get accurate hits than a regular gun.

This rifle is very accurate. It comes with a great scope that is very easy to sight in. It has good groups at 20 yards.

This is a good airgun for starters. It has a very small recoil which helps you shoot accurately. The gun is not front or back heavy so it is very easy to shoot without setting it on anything.

this is one of my favorite pellet rifles I've ever had it shots awesome with the scope fully sighted in even open sights is nice definitly powerful
