This Vigilante is a great pistol! Good looking, very accurate (AFTER CAREFULLY SIGTING IN AT 18' OR SO) .. I started using pellets but the BBs fair accurate with this gun. I especially like the 'single-or-double' trigger choice almost always use the single. I like the break over and magazine design, very quick reloads ......... be sure to buy EXTRA co2 powerlets.
Things I would have changed:The 'double' action is a bit hard and slow ... I'd like to see a bit more detail on the cylinder even if it doesn't actually move. I'm not a BIG man but I don't have small hands, even so, the Grip is just a tiny bit BIG for me (I were a size large glove).
What others should know:PA service and help are amazing, communication is great and returns/exchanges are fairly quick turnaround. This Gun is a BLAST (no pun intended).

weapon looks nice and from a distance looks like a nice .357 or .44 mag.
Things I would have changed:The trigger pull, it needs to a lot softer, and improve the accuracy. The one that I have shoots 6" or so to the left even pulling the hammer back trigger is still too stiff.
What others should know:enjoy it and practice.

Fun plinking, soda can accurate! No problem
Things I would have changed:Very large grips and I don't like the free wheeling of the clip which if touched can skip past rounds in the rotary clip.

Like the magazine loading. Purchase extra magazines. Added a holographic sight and painted the front sight white for improved aquisition
Things I would have changed:None, great air hand gun for the money.
What others should know:Make sure to use safety glasses. Had a few pellets bounce back fairly hard.

Nice weight
Things I would have changed:Maybe the front sight should have a colored dot or fibre optic. Front sight is hard to see when aiming at darker colored objects/targets.

Really love the design, has a feeling like something out of the game Destiny or Cyberpunk / Blade Runner. But it doesnt End there, the weight and feel to it is awesome, its Very similar to the Umarex Broadax but a LOT more powerful, most shots average around the 420-430 mark which is super powerful for any 12gr charged Co2 pistol/revolver. Very accurate, although I had to paint on my own iron sights (they will come in black when you get them, so if you are going to be using this in low light situations I highly recommend doing the same. The break barrel design is nice and allows for easy maintenance and I really like how solid the mechanics are, they do not feel cheap or flimsy. I have tried multiple ammo types within the chamber and can tell you that I could not get it to misfire or miss a revolution while rotating the chamber, even with ammo that was not meant for it (do not try this at home). I have not attached any type of sight but it has rails on both the top and bottom.
Things I would have changed:I would definitely change the safety to something more in line with the Umarex Broadex which is ambidextrous and feels better. The safety on this firearm is simply a block that keeps the hammer from hitting the firing pin/piston. The barrel, At first I was hesitant about the barrel as it is free flowing within the forward receiver, however I soon realized this design allows it to have a proper fit with multiple ammo types and does not seem to effect the FPS of shots, you will always have a good seal. I would like to mention the feel when shooting pellets, you CANNOT use longer pellets such as the Red Fire / Powershot etc etc within this unless you shave down the pellet first which is not recommended as it your ammo will become less accurate and unstable making it DANGEROUS to shoot. I believe this firearm works best with heavier pellets, anything between 8 and 10 grains seem to have better accuracy and still punch through 1cm steel (!!!!)
What others should know:Great buy, as usual it got here super quick and I could not be happier with my purchase, this one sticks with me by my dresser. I will always have it close by in case I have to go hunt some replicants (wink)

Lots of fun and one of my favorites. Bought extra cartridges and run through quite a few before the CO2 drops. Some plastic parts are a concern as they may break in time, but overall the gun has a good feel. Accurate to about 20 yards with laser. PROPS to Pyramyd on customer service. My first one arrived with broken rear sight and bent frame (looks like it was dropped). Pyramyd immediately sent me a new one after one email and some pics. I'm a customer for life.
Things I would have changed:Less plastic in high-wear areas such as barrel latch and grips.
What others should know:Sights are relatively accurate, but plastic and the rear sight is susceptible to damage.

I like the rifled barrel and the ability to use BBs or pellets but I have not used this revolver because sometimes I have trouble getting Crosman Co2 cartridges and my Daisy Co2 cartridges won't fit.
Things I would have changed:I don't like that Crosman states "You must use only Crosman powerlet Co2 cartridges". So I did some research and yes, other people who have purchased this model say that Umarex, Daisy and other Co2 cartridges do not fit. Because of this I would like to exchange it for a non-Crosman revolver. Problem is I cut the plastic packaging on one end to get at the owner's manual and Pyramid will charge me shipping and restocking fee if the package was cut. I also do not like the way the rotary clip fits so loosely in the revolver and can be accidentally turned (indexed) quite easily without cocking the hammer or pulling the trigger.
What others should know:This is a 30+ year old design. Crosman needs to use a softer end seal and make it compatible with Umarex and Daisy Co2 cartridges. Shame on you Crosman. Do yourself a favor and get a quality Umarex revolver. They are accurate, the end seals don't leak and the rotary clip fits in nice and tight and only rotates when you cock the hammer or pull the trigger.

This has become my take a break fun gun! I equipped it with a red dot scope and an under-barrel 200 lumen flashlight . . . I have and unsanitary raccoon who has started leaving Gifts on my deck during the night. It brings great comments and smiles every time I am with my son and grandsons. It’s an amazing value!
Things I would have changed:Nothing!

Decent Trigger Ease of reloading
Things I would have changed:Barrel retention design is weak and broke. There is only one clip retaining the barrel and it's at the front right under the sight and also what holds the top strap and assembly in place. Part of this broke within 20 dry fire shots and the front sight with barrel started riding up and out of the frame and the barrel slid back.It is not a durable design. The top strap lock up isn't super-tight and would affect accuracy. Grip a bit too smooth. Hand won't stay put and wants to ride up.
What others should know:I bought this for both dry and live fire trigger practice in conjunction with my Mantis X. Primarily dry fire as it sits next to my WFH workstation and I pick it up and several times a day and practice short sessions. I was dry firing without CO2 and also without the rotary clip in place. I always do this whenever possible with any air gun as it's easy to view that the gun is unloaded. This seems to have replaced the similarly priced Umarex Colt Python Colt Python .357 Pellet/BB Revolver... which was my ordering goal to have another one (left one to stay at fish camp) for home. That was accurate and durable and good trigger too. I bought this as it seemed the replacement and with similar expectations. But it's just not a durable design. I have returned it as it broke and given the weakness requested it be replaced with the ASG DW 715 from Pyramydair

This Crosman Vigilante is Awesome. Its accurate, has a realistic look and feel to it. The break barrel round mag is easy to load. Just overall Amazing for the price point.
Things I would have changed:Dotted sights would have been nice. So I dotted the rear sights with white out, & dotted the front sight with orange neon nail polish.
What others should know:Make sure you line up your mag when you insert it. This will insure mag will rotate freely & properly, with no jams. Don't hesitate to buy this revolver.

Got a lemon. Returned on 8/13 (same day it arrived). Could not fire a single shot. Most likely a valve issue. Wasted a CO2 cartridge. Still waiting for replacement from PA. Hopefully the replacement will fire. I'll update later

The sights are easy to zero and this pistol has good power and accuracy. The trigger pull gets smoother with use and the grip is well-designed for stability. A lot of fun for the price!
Things I would have changed:Three clips for each ammo instead of one, though additional clips are available and relatively inexpensive, and more than the 6 bb capacity for bb clips.
What others should know:For some reason, the co2 seems to last longer with pellets than with bb's.

The Crosman Vigilante has a good feel in my medium sized hand. It's very easy to load and fun to shoot. I prefer to shoot the 10 round rotary pellet clips so I purchased the extra 3 pack. I feel the Vigilante is a great value for the price.
Things I would have changed:The one thing I would like to see on the Crosman Vigilante is a lighter trigger pull. The trigger definitely has resistance.
What others should know:I achieved very good accuracy shooting H&N Silver Point .177 Pellets. I'm convinced seating the pellets in the clips helped. I use a plastic stylus from an old long gone Palm Pilot to easily seat the pellets in the rotary clips.

I like the full-size combat grip it fills my hand up nicely. Double and single action. The rifled barrel makes this pistol very accurate. Good shot count and good use of CO2. Fun plinker.
Things I would have changed:Nothing this is a great co2 pistol.
What others should know:The fully adjustable rear sight helps you zero in on target. Buy some extra clips because 10 rounds goes fast.

Sturdy, fun to shoot, fairly accurate, overall nice little gun.
Things I would have changed:Labeled as a pellet/bb gun. Most would know that BB's screw up the rifling. A beginner would not. Wish site was fiber optic.
What others should know:If you're thinking about a bargain-priced revolver, this is a fine gun. Packs enough of a wallop at over 400 fps, and is a lot of fun. DON'T use BB's with this gun!
