    Things I liked:

I have a 20 foot range set up in my upstairs living room (and a 10m in my basement), so I can shoot all throughout the day (no wife, kids, pets, etc.). My only problem was, because of noise, I found myself only using my "quiet" Beeman P17 after dark in my living room. That is until the Diana Chaser Rifle Kit arrived. I am amazed as to how quiet the Chaser is in rifle form with the suppressor, and now I have a second gun to use in my living room after dark. It is amazingly accurate, with a very good trigger for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

I understand this used to be sold with a screw-on suppressor that you could easily swap between rifle and pistol form. Not any longer. Sure, I've seen videos and articles about how you can forcibly remove the suppressor, but I'll pass.

    What others should know:

Clean the barrels before your initial use (I suggest this on all air guns). Both the barrel on my original Diana Chaser pistol and both barrels in the rifle kit were filthy. Be advised that the instruction booklet only shows you how to convert the rifle to a pistol (so just do things in reverse) and portrays the kit as having the screw-on suppressor (which it doesn't). Don't forget to insert the smaller brown O-ring in the rifle barrel before installation. The other two included larger black O-rings appear to be spares for either the rifle or pistol barrels.

    Things I liked:

the magazine works fine when you eliminate operator error ! after a chamber is empty there is a lockout shield - no wonder it jams ! I take back my criticism of the magazine.

    Things I liked:

great pellet rifle - I put my big, heavy, loud Gamo Swarm Whisper back on the gun rack. This is really quiet, and the little red squirrels don't know what hit them. This is a very powerful gun. The additional rotating magazine just really sucks. The designer needs to be fired. They need to hire the guy from Gamo - because those magazines are great.

    Things I would have changed:

the magazine needs to be redesigned so that it works. it jams all the time. it is worthless.

    What others should know:

if you want a pistol - then buy a pistol - this is really made to be converted and left converted to a rifle. I threw the little travel case away. You can put an inexpensive optical dot site on it and it becomes deadly accurate.

    Things I liked:

This is probably the best bang for the buck in airgunning. I have the . 177 kit and I can swap out the breech and barrell and stocks with my .22 bandit and morph them in several different configurations. I got a 22 stormrider barrell on the chaser now with the bandit grip and it is the most accurate of my 15 airguns..

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing...

    What others should know:

The Diana's are more powerful than advertised and I've found most other manufacturers claims to be highly overstated.

    Things I liked:

Great accuracy and power but easily modified to be even more powerful, lightweight and basic, easy to disassemble, repair, and customize for the price you cant get a better deal.

    Things I would have changed:

Some important parts of the rifle are made of fairly inferior material so they are a little fragile but cheaper materials means a cheaper rifle.

    What others should know:

Great starter rifle, the .22 caliber version has plenty enough power for squirrel hunting after a few modifications that even a child can do.

    Things I liked:

The Diana Chaser combo in .177-Opening the box you will see a black nylon fitted case. The trigger with mine was 2.2# just right. The fit and finish is very good. The pistol barrel came installed and the rifle barrel with the fixed silencer was in the case. The pistol barrel is threaded with an end cap. Allen keys and extra barrel O rings were included. You will need them because removing the pistol barrel and rifle barrel may destroy them rather quickly. Nice package, extra co2 in the pistol grip.

    Things I would have changed:

Well- I was surprised, and not pleasantly, that the silencer is permanently attached to the rifle barrel. I expected I would be able to use in on the pistol barrel since the pistol barrel is threaded also. Diana listed this info in the manual, but of course you must buy the combo and manual to find out. (surprise) .The barrel O rings need to be larger and watch for burrs at the take down screws point. P/s the take down screws could be much large ( Diana should have provided extra screws) be careful not the loose them

    What others should know:

This is a nice combo. Just be careful with all the small parts-when changing the barrels, You will need to remove and replace the very small o-ring in the breech of the barrels that holds the pellet in place and replace it in the barrel you are installing.

    Things I liked:

I already had the .22 and liked it so much I got this one in .177. If I shoot enough, the cheaper .177 pellets will pay for the rifle/pistol. I really like these SPA guns. The trigger is simple and light.

    Things I would have changed:

    1. Diana, stop gluing the moderator to the barrel, people are scalding themselves trying to soften the glue. Everyone wants to use it on both the pistol and rifle and nobody is putting it on any firearms. 2. Make the baffle stack one plastic insert instead of all the aluminum bits that are a puzzle to reassemble. Plastic will baffle the CO2 blast just fine, thanks.

    What others should know:

It is shooting about 1 inch groups at 25 yards, and getting better as it wears in. My .22 was the same; I'm expecting half-size groups after 1000 pellets and a little cleaning and polishing. On a 70 degree day, mine shoots the lightweight unleaded pellets at ~625 fps, at 6 ft#. The .22 will shoot at 8 ft#.

    Things I would have changed:

Had leaking seal after two months, hope its not an issue with them.

    What others should know:

I got my first Kit and had it about two months and it started leaking Co2 out of the little port that you see your canister in. I contacted Pyramyd air and there was no hassle. They just said we will send you a new one. They sent me a postage paid box, I sent it back, but it took a while for the new one to come in, but the minute it did it was on its way to me. I would buy another one in a minute.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

    1) Light weight; 2) very accurate at 120ft/40yards/35m; 3) quiet (good for the backyard and not disturbing your neighbors or worse, scaring them into calling the police because they thing you are discharging a firearm); 4) conversion option is cool, although I only use it as a rifle; 5) virtually no kick; 6) triggers crisp, not too hard (but could be a bit softer); 7) Red Dot sights work vey well and fit no problem on the 11mm Dovetail rails

    Things I would have changed:

    1) The detachable back stock should be a little longer. This comes into play when you use a scope. It is very hard to get the scope far enough away from your eye with a short stock for appropriate eye relief. 2) Mounting a scope on this is problematic for several reasons: a) You have to move the scope as far forward as possible (for the reasons listed above #1) and it still might not be enough. b) In order to move the scope as far forward as possible, you will have to mount a scope ring on the 1inch/2.5mm long dovetail rail in front of the loading ramp. It is very short, and I would definitely make this several inches longer to allow for several inches more adjustment in the placement of the scope. c) You have to use very tall 11mm scope rings, which are very hard to find. A short/normal height ring will not leave enough clearance to allow easily placing pellets in the loading ramp and actually PREVENT use of the magazine! d) The front end of a scope will push down on the rear sight

    What others should know:

    1) Absolutely watch the videos before changing this into a rifle as there are a few non-intuitive critical tips. Also, f you are going to use this as a rifle, toss the case it comes in and buy a 45" rifle case. (They're cheap.) 2) One charge of the CO2 canister will get you about 40 shots, not much more. Don't make the mistake of thinking you're "missing" and start fiddling with your sights after you've been shooting a while - it's probably nearing the end of the gas canister. The muzzle sounds the same, but there is a definite fall-off. 3) Recommend an inexpensive Red Dot Sight (the one I use cost $25 on you-know-where!) and works great! It will bring bullseyes to those 30 yard shots very easily! Buy a cheap one if you're not familiar with them, see how you like it, etc., before you spend more. You may end up being quite satisfied with an inexpensive one.

    Things I liked:

The silencer! It makes this gun very quiet. You don't want your neighbors thinking you're shooting a firearm in your backyard and for the unfamiliar, it is hard to differentiate between the "pop" of an airgun or a low-caliber (like .22lr) "pop." This helps avoid problems, and of course, doesn't disturb anyone. The rifle is very accurate out of the box. The quality seems very good (although this is made in China, not Germany, for Diana.) Watch the video on how to change the pistol into the rifle. There are a couple of good "tips" to know before you do. You will have to disassemble the rifle (or pistol) on occasion anyway when a pellet gets stuck in the barrel from a near-dead CO2 cartridge, so you might as well get familiar with the correct procedure right from the beginning. This is light weight rifle with very little kick - and a very cool looking "sniper-style" rifle,

    Things I would have changed:

    - Perhaps a bit longer butt stock... - But DEFINITELY change the position of the trigger lock. I see why they put it there (it's basically just a slide bolt across the trigger) but it is hard to find by just feeling around and your finger doesn't go naturally to that position and it is ON the trigger, which means you have to fiddle with the trigger! That's the antithesis of "gun safety" rule #1: "Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to pull!" What were they thinking? Yes, while it's a cheap and simple (and effective) mechanism, it isn't a GOOD mechanism because it shouldn't be on the trigger! For anyone who is trained on a firearm, this is a big "no-no." Move the #%&@# safety either to another place NOT on the trigger and easy to find without looking, or go to a lever-style mechanism typically found on firearms!

    What others should know:

    - Consider getting an inexpensive "red dot" sight. ($25 on Amazon for a cheap one.) It makes shooting a lot more fun - and accurate. For $25 it'll show you what it can do and if it lasts, great, if not, you can invest in a better quality one if you like how it works for you. - The Stormrider magazine is a very good addition for shooting varmints and pests, as you'll need the capability of multiple rounds in quick succession; otherwise, the single-load is fine for target practice. If you get the magazine, you'll have to invest time in finding then watching useful videos on how to load it and how to insert it as it isn't obvious and no information comes with the product or is on the website.

    Things I liked:

Light weight, pistol/carbine/rifle all suppressible. Able to use as single shot with shot tray or as a repeater with accessory mags. I built a quiet pellet trap and can use in a 3 car garage at 3 meters.

    Things I would have changed:

A little more power perhaps. A better manual with exploded parts diagram.

    What others should know:

There are good vids on Utube. Make a CrownSave type cleaning kit with 80-100 lb. leader. (Also vids available) Be careful not to use a solvent that damage your seals. I ordered a long pic rail off eBay so I can mount a 2 moa green dot forward of the receiver.

    Things I liked:

Light,Accurate,Quiet. It is so quiet that it does not seem powerful but then I took the silencer off the long barrel and she really barks. Mine was putting pellets in the same holes, I could not believe it.Ran it through the Chrono and its right at 500 FPS, put a lighter spring in the air chamber and lightly stretched the hammer spring and got 525 with poly mags and 545 with RWS Hobby

    Things I would have changed:

Would be nice to have some bolt on extensions for the stock, a little short for an adult but manageable. The bolt seems a little small and weak, hopefully it holds up.
