    Things I liked:

.25 Cal hits the target hard, shoots very well, Enjoy this as much as my Hatsan AT44-10 QE long .25 Cal. Shoulders very well.

    Things I would have changed:

Don't care for the sling swivel being on the butt of the rifle, gets in the way when setting it down on table, moves forward or back a little to lay flat on table. Really the only thing I don't care for.

    What others should know:

Great Rifle to have. All the weight is in the butt end of the rifle, but does carry well. Same air cylinder and mag as the AT44-10.

    Things I liked:

HOLY SMOKES!!!!! I hadn't been able to put into perspective the difference between .177 springers and .25 PCP in my little pea brain until I shot this beast. I don't have a Chrono as of yet, but this thing is a powerhouse compared to what I am used to. Very accurate with the 25.39 JSB Exacts. It also likes the JSB heavies. I think they are 33.95 gr. Once I figured out how this beast likes to be held during the firing cycle it is hole in hole out to 50yds for Me. I simply shoot two magazines and then top off with the Ninja buddy bottle.

    Things I would have changed:

Heavy, this thing is a tank. Lol. Makes for stable shooting at the bench, but not something I would want to carry around all day. Maybe a carbon fiber cylinder down the line for Hatsan PCP's??

    What others should know:

It has been a painless (except for the wallet, Lol) experience with Pyramid Air. Excellent communication and fast free shipping. Hard to beat that.

    Things I liked:

Power, accuracy, simplicity, what's not to like? Is it perfect, nope, but for 600 bucks its as close as I think you're likely to get.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it lighter, it's heavy. A simple button safety on either side of the guard would make things smoother and avoid interruption of sequential shots. The cocking lever moved to the left side of the gun for uninterrupted sequential shots. I should have purchased the walnut stock. A low, med, high switch on the hammer spring. As is, you need a crony to adjust it.

    What others should know:

Mine shipped with almost 6lbs of trigger pull but it's easily adjusted by following the instructions in the manual. However, do this in baby steps since the setting screws are VERY sensitive. 1/4 turns make a HUGE difference.

    Things I liked:

I like how its light weight and only 9-10 pounds and i thought that since the barrel and the rail are soo far apart that i wouldn't be able to sight it in at close ranges but i actually am able to sight this down to 10 yards and its very accurate

    Things I would have changed:

please add on with this gun the fill valve adapter to connect to a pump because that is bought separately, add more rails on the sides, and allow the air cylinder to be more accessible because it rubs on the shroud a lot when its being removed.

    What others should know:

buy the fill adapter to connect to a quick disconnect hose

    Things I liked:

Mine has a few issues but I like to improve my guns. Hammer adjust threads were sloppy and loose.Red loctite barely holds screw where I want it. Next accuracy was not good no matter what ammo I tried.Removed to recrown since it was horrible and I found that two lands had dents from tooling and machining.Sent Hatsan pics and they will replace the barrel free of charge. So besides that I shoot 19 shots from 2800 down to 2200 pushing 25 grain at 880fps average. I can get 33 shots before poi starts a noticible drop. So 4 full mags hunting is completly useable but I hand pump so 19 rounds is plenty. On a bipod the gun has alot of flex.Everytime I shoot I have to check zero.If moved or bumped the gun is off.Tried several scopes and mounts.Had to shim my scopes and pellets clipped the baffles.Found the barrel is bent. The at44 short tube fits and works great in it and also lowers the guns weight.tried tuning the gun to shoot 33 grains at 900fps but the system stock is not capable.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic mounts that support the scope rail to aluminum to eliminate flex and movement. Quality control so bad barrels don't make thier way on the guns.Come up with a bullpup style sling.

    What others should know:

Its an awesome walking through woods short to mid range hunter.Plenty of power and shot count. No a bench gun.Too much flex and trigger is not great. Was not enough adjustment to get 33 grains higher then 820fps.more hammer preload lowered the fps. This was my experiance. The black friday deal $442 shipped well worth it.Paying full price I would be very dissapointed.Stick with a 3x scope cause a 4x is too long range for this gun.

    Things I liked:

While not as quiet as the Umarex Gauntlet, which is exceptionally quiet, this is very backyard friendly. Just make sure you have a substantial backstop, because this gun is very powerful. For plinking, I have been using Crossman Premier Domes, as they have been very accurate and consistent for me and are very cost effective. I have also tried the Eun Jin 28.5 grain pellets, which just fit the magazine. The 10 shot average chronograph results were 1030 fps with the premier domes (33.7 fpe) and 785 fps with the Eun Jins (39.01 fpe). I am looking forward to trying the H&N piledriver and the JSB ultra shock to find the ultimate hunting pellet. So far, I am happy with the accuracy and energy that the Eun Jins provide. As far as accuracy goes, I am very happy. This is my first bullpup, and I am loving it. I paired it with a Hawke Vantage 4-12x40 scope. With crossman premier domes, shooting off hand, I am hitting 2" x 3" pill containers at 30 yards without missing a shot.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change much, this gun is amazing as is. Yes, the gun is noticeably heavy when you first pick it up. However, when it is shouldered it is very easy to manage, as most of the weight is in the butt of the gun. It is easy to shoot off hand, but maybe that is partly because I was shooting the Torpedo 155 off hand, which is quite a challenge. Also, it would be nice to get 40-50 usable shots between fills. I have heard that regulated cylinders provide 40 usable shots, but to get set up with an extra cylinder with a regulator you are looking at a whopping $250. I think they could lower the price of replacement / extra cylinders. If I could get an extra air cylinders for around $100, I think I would regulate 1 of them and then be able to get 70 good shots between fills and have 2 cylinders dedicated to high power shooting. Of course, I would have to get 5 more magazines too... I will wait until Pyramyd Air is offering a good sale.

    What others should know:

I can get 30 usable shots per fill, however, I have been refilling with my Hill MK 4 hand pump after 20 shots, as the gun comes with 2 magazines. It takes 10 pumps to bring the line up to pressure and 50 more to reach maximum pressure. Granted, that is not a huge shot count, but it does not take much time and effort to refill. It also provides me with a quick easy workout, which I actually like. This is an accurate, powerful, and fun shooting airgun. The stock has a nice rubberized heavy duty but comfortable feel... great gun. This was my second airgun from Pyramyd Air. I started experiencing some problems with my Umarex Gauntlet. I also ordered a scuba yoke and 6 marauder magazines in some following orders so as to maximize my Gauntlet set up. I could not find any of my paperwork with the return forms, and I was expecting to get hit with a lot of restocking fees. Not only did they take back everything, but I was credited for a straight up swap to step into the Bullboss.

ordered mine in .25 . its a at44 long in bullpup stock, so that says it all, quiet powerful accurate ,sturdy and of course heavy.it does shoulder better than my at44 ,less weight up front.

    Things I would have changed:

    add mag holder

    What others should know:

if you are going to use a pellet trap make it a powder burner style ,this thing hits hard hard hard. and thanks p.a..had a small problem with mags you guys and gals took care of it with no hassle and supper fast, happy holidays too you, and many more to come.

    Things I liked:

I've owned an AT44 for several years and its an excellent gun. Hatsan products are usually a good value for the money spent. The Bullboss is an AT44 in a bullpup stock, I like the gun in general that's why I gave it 3 stars instead of only 1.

    Things I would have changed:

I bought the Bullboss .177 during PA's Black Friday sale and was really looking forward to getting it. After I received it, it all went down hill. Accuracy was so bad, 5 of the first 10 shots completely missed an 8 X 11 target. Tried many different pellets, but no difference. Returned it & PA replaced it promptly, hats off to PA. The replacement wasn't much better. Its not PA's fault so I didn't want to make them take it back again, so, I emailed Hatsan USA. Their only response was to sell me a replacement barrel for $94.00. Thanks but no thanks! So, I guess I'll make a project gun out of it & buy a custom LW barrel for it, and make a real shooter out of it.

    What others should know:

My problems with these two guns are not typical of Hatsan guns in general. A bad batch of barrels or just bad luck on my part.

    Hammer spring adjustment power.

    What others should know:

Out of the box .25 cal first string w/ jbs 25.39: 915fps/926/923/920/919/923/927/913/920. After the fourth tank refill, 871/875/ 882/848/874/867/869/866/862. After noticing drop in fps, tried adjusting hammer spring, with no improvement. It started shooting "hot" but seems to have settled down a bit. Tried emailing Hatsan to ask questions but haven't heard from them for over a week

    Things I liked:

This thing is a beast and loves the JSB 33.95 heavy. Holes touching at 25 yards. Dime size groups at 50 yards. Of course this depends on shooter and quality of scope. It is one of the fastest and and hardest hitting 25 cal your gonna find.

    Things I would have changed:

Little pricey and took me a while to finally pull the trigger and buy but glad i did.

    What others should know:

This is not a toy and will shoot through 2 pieces of wet 3/4 plywood so make sure of your backstop.

    Things I liked:

It's fairly quiet very good action. Perfect for the woods and squirrel hunting. A tad heavy if someone would make a lighter stock I'd be all over it. This one can take a beating though.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd change the cylinder to a tank setup for sure. Something that holds more air and a C/F tank would do the trick. Or at minimum the option to be able to. My gun isn't very accurate I've shot a wide range of lead through it. Just can't seem to get it to hold pattern. Secondly, make the magazine's out of something stronger so the edge gets caught by the action better to slide the next pellet forward. My other Hatsan seems much better. Overall its well made will last a lifetime. I took mine a part to see why it was skipping pellets and believe it's lube that solved it.

    What others should know:

Good entry level bullboss , if you buy a second cylinder , you'll enjoy it even more. Keep the action lubed and the magazines. I love hard hitting guns and .25 cal is my preference. I have a mid level Nikon scope on it which is really nice glass.

    Ergonomics, Accessory rails, removable cylinder.

    Things I would have changed:

    Cheek piece is too high.

    What others should know:

I waited a few days to get to know this rifle before reviewing. This is my first PCP and only second pellet rifle ever! Yes, I started with a 10-pump daisy and jumped right into the PCP world. No "ragrets," this thing is sweeet! Incredible accuracy and power right out of the box. The magazine did not index after my first shot; however, I am technologically inclined, did a little research, and found that he lever may not be fully engaging the teeth of the magazine. I took the cover off of the mechanism and sure enough, the lever needed to be tweaked just a bit to make better contact. I actually bent the lever closer to the magazine with a pliers and could feel the quality of the steel used on that piece. After bending the lever in about 1mm toward the teeth, the magazine indexes flawlessly every time. This does not seem to be a common problem on these rifles, though. Also, get a fill station, this thing is too much fun to wait to fill with a hand pump.

First off I am new to this type of rifle(pcp), chose this because of all the good reviews and wanted a 25 cal., rifle is great, hard hitting, side lever is smooth in operation. Loading is easy, overall great gun

    Things I would have changed:

    Reduce weight somewhat

    Things I liked:

Quiet, powerful, accurate, balanced, exchangeable cylinder. My .22 cal averaged 967 FPS and 37.6 FPE over 10 shots. 1" group at 50 yds with same 10-shot group, using JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.1gr. Adjustable trigger is nice. Took mine from stock 4.5-5 lb pull down to just under 3 lbs with a solid, consistent pull. Very quiet gun in my opinion. This is about as powerful as you can get while still being backyard-friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

Anti double-feed doesn't work for me. I've double-fed several times and cocked without loading as well. Seems to load OK once you get a feel for the mechanism. Bolt must pull all the way back until you hear and feel a solid click. A chambered-round indicator would be nice. I don't care for Hatsan's auto-safety. I'd prefer the option of a manual safety. Again, it's not so bad once you get used to it, but it slows your follow-up shot rate. Needs high scope mounts. Adjustable cheek comb is no good for me. It's hard enough to get a clean sight picture at its the lowest setting.

    What others should know:

This was my first try with PCP airguns. Very pleased so far. My Gamo break-barrel .22 can't come close. I was between this and one of the Maurauder variants (Synrod and Armada) and felt this one gave me more bang for the buck (literally). The bullpup design balances well, even though the gun is fairly heavy. Very accurate with the right ammo. TEST LOTS OF DIFFERENT AMMO. I tested 14 different pellets with 40 yard groups varying from 1" (JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.1gr) to 8" (Gamo Hunter Impact 15.43gr). I thought I was hearing a super-sonic crack with 12.65 grain H&N Hollow Points. They measured 1100 FPS but could only hold a 5" group at 40 yards. Lighter (sub-10gr) might go supersonic, but don't expect much accuracy. It likes heavier ammo. I got 2.5" groups, 853 FPS and 41 FPE (best FPE of all) with 2 different JSB 25.4gr pellets. Hill MK4 keeps it charged, but this old man has his eye on either a Shoebox or Air Venturi Power Booster.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Outstanding air rifle! Side lever cocking is exceptionally nice and feeds cycles the magazine flawlessly. The trigger is smooth and the break is very predictable leading to very nice accuracy. The published muzzle velocity from Hatsan is exactly what I found using "standard" 14.2gr pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

This is my first "bullpup" style air gun and it's inability to change stock configuration is a little bothersome. The probe used to fill the reservoir with air is a bit different, but works fine so far.

    What others should know:

This air rifle is a tack driver once you become accustomed to the bullpup design. It's muzzle velocity also makes it quite a good hunting weapon. The muzzle velocity decreases very predictably over the course of one tank of air which typically has yielded me at least 40 shots.
