    Things I liked:

    Short and easy to maneuver

    Things I would have changed:

The cheek piece doesn't adjust down far enough for me.

    What others should know:

A thorough inspection of any pellet rifle bought from this company is a must. I found that the one I was sent was not new. Once I removed the air cylinder I saw a large amount of dirt buildup on the inside of the stock. The barrel was loose and it has an air leak. I had to send it back.

    Things I liked:

I really like this gun, I bought the .25 caliber one and its very accurate and well made. No problems at all with loose screws as some others have mentioned.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would possibly change would be adding a barrel/air tank foward support. But I am not shur it is needed as I am no expert on air gun design and it shoots very nice as is. This is my favorite target rifle, its powerfull, has a high shot count and feels really nice any shooting position as the cocking lever is farther forward than most bullpups for easier cocking in any position.

    What others should know:

Even though my gun came with no issues (loose screws ect. ) allways check out any airgun screws ect. for looseness when you first recieve your gun and before any shooting. This applies to any gun.

    Things I liked:

The look, the feel, the way it shoulders and I love the cocking lever. Very smooth. Extremely easy hammer spring adjustment without having to remove ANYTHING from the gun. Good accuracy and power.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic Cheek Comb is to large. Makes you (me) have to bend my head in an unnatural position. (I simply removed mine and it feels MUCH better and quicker to site in down range)

    What others should know:

I was having a difficult time at first getting good groups with the BullBoss which was frustrating me badly, as my 3 other Hatsan airguns were ALL tack drivers....I realize that HOLD on a bullpup takes a little getting used to...that's not the guns fault it's just me getting used to a new type of setup. My groups are getting better everytime I shoot. I FULLY expect groups to be as tight as my other Hatsans once familiarizing myself with bullpups. This is my first pup.....but won't be my last.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, Power and, Shot Count are Awesome. Simple construction, but solid. When you hold it, it feels like a rifle. It's a little heavy but the weight is to the rear of the rifle so it balance out nicely. The scope that comes with the package is nice. It's the Optima 2.5-10x50E-SFT. Best Bang for the Buck.

    Things I would have changed:

Print a user's manual for the BullBoss instead of using the user manual for the Gladius. It can be a little confusing. Everything else is awesome.

    What others should know:

The manual that is sent with the gun is for the Gladius for the simple reason they are basically the same gun. With the exceptions the bullboss doesn't have the power adjustment, adjustable butt stock or the mag holders. Everything else works the same. But don't order a part for the Gladius thinking it will fit. The BullBoss QE is a new air rifle so a lot of the parts or not listed for Bull Boss. I ordered the extra cylinder for the Gladius thinking it would fit ( I was wrong ). So had to send it back. After talking to Hatsan I figured out all the accessories and part # that I wanted. At 1st I was a little disappointed, but now after figuring everything out I am extremely happy with the BullBoss QE .22 cal.

    Things I liked:

Shoots great , action is really nice, very pointable , heavy , but well balanced . I had to empty the air tank to take it home , I was amazed , I got about 45-50 good shots out of it . I didn't scope it up , because I think it deserves a better scope than the one in the package, so early yet , when it is bedded in and a decent scope , i think this gun could be a real bargain.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing realy . I shot the air arms bull pup back in the summer, and I didn't like it much, I thought it was a bit light , didn't point too well , so I was a bit apprehensive , but this one is different , or maybe it just suits me better.

    What others should know:

Try before you buy if you can , it's a different style of shooting , the reason I took the plunge ,is that I read that these guns 'grow on you' , and I am a hatsan fan , I have a 44 and a 65 , they are so robust, powerful , and accurate , and great value for money, what we all want , right ?

    Things I liked:

(Bullboss 22 cal.)The Power, The Moderator, Scope was Very nice, but Magnification seemed wrong for this Rifle. Very Quite for Backyard Shooting. Accuracy was good.

    Things I would have changed:

Bunch of things. I did like the Bullpup Design, but this is a Heavy Rifle. Couldnt imagine carrying this Rifle arround in the Woods. The Scope is Very Nice but the Heaviest of all the Scopes I own. The Bad (My Rifle came with alot Blemishes. Some Screws were lighter color than others. Screws on bottom of Rifle looked like they had been taken out, kinda chewed up a little. On the second Cylinder Fill, air was leaking arround Probe, took awhile to get it in the perfect position to fill it. Changed Orings on probe and worked fine after that. Magazine started sticking arround 40th shot, had to turn by hand about every 3rd shot after that. I had enough issues with this 600+$$ Bullpup and sent back.)

    What others should know:

I own other Hatsan Rifles that came in Great condition and worked flawlessly, thats why I jumped on this Bullboss 22 cal., unfortunately I think theirs something going on with Quality Control? Or maybe its just out of every 500 Rifles or so their is a Lemon? I still believe in Hatsan and I wilk try this Rifle again at a later time. (FPS with a 15.89 grain JSB was 1050 fps)

    Things I liked:

This is a very accurate rifle. Very user friendly and easy to use. I really like being able to change air cylinders in the field and the power is perfect for hunting. I can't say enough good things about the side lever cocking. It is very smooth and conveniently located for quick back up shots. I was considering the Galatian and really just picked this one because of the look and reviews. Really glad I picked this one though. I'm very happy with it.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing except maybe on-board magazine storage like the Galatian or Gladius.

    What others should know:

The rifle is a little heavy especially with a large scope and bi-pod but is very manageable. The weight distribution is so good that I don't notice the weight.

    Things I would have changed:

    More shots per fill

    What others should know:

The magazine doesn't always index the way it should. A few other people have said the same thing. Maybe it's a simple adjustment. Any advice on this issue would be welcome. Still, a BLAST to shoot! Glad I have it

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really, maybe slots to hold mags

    What others should know:

I thought I had an indexing problem, but you have to make sure you seat the mag just right. No issues. Buy one, you'll love it. Mine is .25

    Things I liked:

I've been wanting a bullpup for awhile now, but have always been reluctant due to the heavy price tag. This rifle at well below the $1K mark, coupled with the tactical appearance I preferred, was exactly what I've been hoping for. I still had some reservations of buying one, mainly due to a somewhat lack of review info on the internet. Most info were about its older sibling, the Gladius, which had very positive reviews. Armed with a discount code and free shipping from PA, I would chance it. I am glad I did! It is a solidly built gun. While the gun tip the 9lb mark, it is very comfortable once situated into the shooting position. The gun is very accurate, probably due to the barrel coming from the same place Walther gets its barrels from and JSB pellets. What really brought a smile to my face is the report. I got the .25 version and this gun is quieter than my .25 Armada(Marauder). This thing is a solid 3 if not 2.5 on loudness. The Bullboss is just a joy to shoot!

    Things I would have changed:

At 5'6" and 150lb, I find this gun on the heavy side for all day hunting. While the gun balances out nicely in the shouldered, shooting position, it becomes a burden to hand carry or even slinged. Shedding a pound or 2 would really make this a more ideal hunting gun. Although I find the grip comfortable, I find the carved-in design a bit cheesy/cheap.

    What others should know:

You will need taller scope rings to raise the scope some, to get a good, comfortable visual through the scope.

This is a great little Airgun. I'm comparing it to my .22 marauder and it blows that thing out of the park. Accuracy and power are far better than my mrod. This is a great little bullpup

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Length and maneuverability, accuracy, flexibility. I got this gun already owning an AT-44 Long QE, which I love. I wanted my AT-44 in a shorter package, and this fits the bill nicely. I got mine in .22, and that is the perfect caliber for me. The gun can be modified to make more power easily just like an AT-44, so the internals are familiar to us tinkerers. The gun shoots 1/4" groups at 25 yard all day long with the right pellets. I would highly recommend this gun to anyone, and it is great if you want a pup, but don't want the weight of a Gladius or the price of other pups.

    Things I would have changed:

I would change the overly wide cheek rest. It is wide to the point of me having to tilt my head too much to get centered on the scope. It is easily removed, so that solved the problem for me. The other thing I would change is that the barrel/air cylinder bands are plastic. It appears to be a fiber re-enforced type, and is very stiff, but I would have felt better if they were metal. I don't see where they cause any issues though, and it is just a personal preference.

    What others should know:

First of all, I don't know why this gun is listed as a 4 on loudness. It doesn't seem any louder than my AT-44 Long QE, so no worries about it being backyard friendly. It is a Hatsan, so it ain't light, but it is far more manageable since most the weight is closer to your shoulder. Not bad at all IMO. I can shoot it free hand way better than my AT-44 Long QE for sure. My gun showed up shooting 30 shots from 915fps to a high of 955fps and back down to 912fps on shot 30 with 18 grain pellets. A 30 shot 35 fpe gun out of the box with no adjustments ain't bad! High scope rings are must, since it is a pup! After modding this gun is fully capable of 50+ fpe, if you're not afraid to void your warranty... The gun isn't perfect in all respects, but you won't find a better one for the $$, and with a little time and free elbow grease it is a top notch shooter!

    Things I liked:

First the rifle comes well boxed, with everything you expect. Spare mag. sling, tools to purge the cylinder. So far I have only done some sight in at 20yds but the rifle seems to function simply and well.you do have to make sure you are athuratative with the last inch or so of the cocking cycle as it sets the safety and locks the striker back.the anti double feed only works if you finish the cocking cycle so it is possable to double feed.as a little tid bit both pellets hit less than 1/2 a pellet width apart. the rifle shoulders well and I fitted the 3-12x44 Leapers SWAT compact scope and didn't have to move the adjustable cheek. For the power output it is very quiet (see below ) and at least at 20 yds it's a tack driving little hammer with thumbnail sized one hole groups easy as you please, with a pellet it likes and there is at least one I know mine HATES. lol

    Things I would have changed:

The front rail doesn't feel the sturdiest with a bipod hooked up, it's more of a twisty type of wiggle but is fine side to side and front to back. it is just a little "odd" feeling. The trigger is ok it is 2 stage but you know it's a bullpup configuration of an AT-44 just a little vague .other than that I got nothing. if you are familiar with the AT-44/Webley Raider there are your guts.

    What others should know:

All these numbers start with a 200 bar fill and all averages are 9 shots. over a F1 chrony with fresh 9v battery. Benjamin .25 27.8 gr. avg. 871.66 fps 46.9 ft/lb 3/4" oval group. H&N Baracuda hunter extreme .25 28.40 gr. avg. 879.67 fps 48.8 ft/lb 3 1/2" group? (my gun hated these YMMV ) jsb Exact King .25 25.39 gr. avg. 906.5 fps 46.3 ft/lb 3/4" oval group. jsb Exact King Heavy .25 33.95 gr. avg. 805.53 fps 49.0 ft/lb 1/2" round one hole group. I think this is a great Rifle and a lot of fun. Well I better get back at it Me and Grace(yes I named her) need to stretch on out to the 50 +/- yd range now.

    Things I liked:

I liked the idea of a 600 dollar bullpup. Ergonomically it felt pretty decent, was the first bullpup I'd held and can see them being handy to carry.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality control. Had to return it( thanks pyramid). Air cylinder when tightened up hit the barrel. Would not group at all, possibly do to cylinder hitting the barrel at the shot. It looked like some of the pellets were hitting the end cap on the barrel. I hand pump and had to mess with the fill probe to get it to not leak when filling. Hatsan should somehow mark the magazine to know how many shots are left or at least that you're on the last shot.

    What others should know:

Might be a good idea to not be the first to have to do a review on something. Pyramid air was really good to deal with on the return though. Sure they are not all like this one but definitely left a bad taste for Hatsan.
