    Things I liked:

This gun is lightweight yet solid and very well constructed. In .22 caliber I get about 40 shots per fill and then it takes a very easy 100-110 pumps to fill with a cheap hand pump. This rifle is very accurate with the H&N Terminators, H&N Hunter Extremes and the Crosman Premier Hollow Points. It is extremely quiet. If you have a good backstop that absorbs the hard hits this gun is very barkyard friendly. This is my first PCP, I considered the other five popular entry level PCP's under $300 but couldn't resist the extra power of the Hatsan Flash, I am very glad I choose this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, Hatsan has a winner with this entry level PCP.

    What others should know:

This is a great gun. If you are thinking of purchasing one, don't hesitate, get one they are a lot of fun. The only hard choice to make is what caliber to get it in. For some reason mine doesn't like the JSB pellets but try them in your rifle it might prefer them.

    Things I liked:

Very good accuracy. Quiet enough though the firing mechanism is a bit noisy. Just about no recoil-wonderful. Nice location for the safety. The bolt action is quick so you may get a second shot off. However the bolt action is a bit hard to pull back unless you are ready to be authoritative with it, in other words you are ready to strongly pull it back quickly. I am use to this now & it works smoothly & well but I do wish it were easier. The Flash is an easy gun to tote around the homestead due to the low weight. I got the 25 cal. which easily takes out the raccoon, rabbit, squirrel, opossu, snake, fox, ground hog, coyote, armadillo. I strongly believe it could, with good shot placement take larger game. In the 6mo. I have the Flash I have bagged at least a third of the varmint I have listed. A pcp air-riffle is a tremendous improvement over all other types of air guns. I even rather prefer practicing & hunting with this 25cal flash than my 22 cal. rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

A slightly lighter bolt action. The bolt action unlocks a little too easily, so you must check that it is down all the way when you are ready shoot. I missed a coon because of this once.

    What others should know:

This pcp is such an improvement over all other versions of air riffles, it just plain beats them all, no comparison. And @ $300 wow I rather put my money on this than any 22 cal. regular rifle. And by the way it is not really that hard to pump up, unless your handicapped.

    Things I liked:

The air gun is very accurate and easy to used accepted one little thing that used for block dirt hole in the air cylinder is very lost.

    Things I would have changed:

Need a better dirt cover for pumping air cylinder.

    Things I liked:

I purchased the Flash a couple of weeks ago and I have to tell you its one of the best shooting, easy to fill (I use a hand pump), multi shot on the market. Accuracy cant be beat, no larger than 1inch groups with a variety of ammunition but the best is jbs jumbo

    Things I would have changed:

    Really nothing

    What others should know:

Bolt is a little hard till it breaks in

    Things I liked:

Light, accurate, well made. Shoots 1/2" at 30 yards with a very cheap 4x32. Love it!

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine sits very high, you will likely need high rings. Safety is very stiff, maybe will get better with use, harder to go from safe to fire than vise versa, maybe that was intended.

    What others should know:

Advertised specs of max fps, 900 and max fpe, 40 are not what the manual that ships with it says. Could not give five stars because of this. 30 less fps is not that big of a deal but 6 fpe is huge and I may have considered a .22 instead of a .25 o save on ammo as some .22's are rated that high. All about down range energy for me. Also I contacted hatsan.usa and they never responded, PA acknowledged my contact but still has not corrected the specs. hatsan.tr has the correct specs listed. It bothers me hatsan.usa never responded, will they be like crickets if I contact them with a service issue?

    Things I liked:

This is an update to my July 4, 2018 review of the .177 Flash. I'm still super-happy with this gun. I found the trigger's second stage to break clean out of the box, but it was heavier than I liked. This 2nd stage was easily reduced by careful counter-clockwise adjustments of the most rearward screw in the trigger mechanism. I also found that rapidly falling shot velocities can be easily changed to a more typical bell curve with hammer spring adjustments. I was able to get 4.25% velocity spread over 3 mags (42 shots) with an average of 20 FPE with JSB 13.4 grain Monsters (820 fps).

    Things I would have changed:

I probably have close to 1000 pellets through it and I have had to replace the breech seal. Fortunately one was included with what appears to be a full o-ring kit, but there were no instructions showing where any of the o-rings go. Fortunately, it was pretty easy to guess which one went in the breech, but I will definitely have to reach out to Hatsan support if/when it's time to replace other o-rings. I have had a couple of double-feeds (100% my fault) and some jams. The jams can be tough to clear. Out of 1000 or so shots, I think I have had 3-4 jams.

    What others should know:

I have had good luck with 13.4 grain JSB Monsters and 7.9 grain Crosman Premiere Hollow points. Yeah, that's a weird combination... 10.3 grain Air Arms have been so so... I still need to test JSB 8.3s. For some reason, I could not get H&N Baracuda 10.6 grain pellets to load or feed at all. I still need to compare accuracy of shooting with the magazine vs. single shot tray.

Just about everything especially the price tag I will always buy from pyramyd air.... hands down best source for air guns in the states and service is superb

    Things I would have changed:

    maybe just the stock

    What others should know:

Does not come with fixed sights so scope is a necessity

    Things I liked:

I have the 22 version. Received as bundle with scope and JSB 15.89 pellets. Light weight, very good trigger, very quiet and back yard friendly. Well made, simple no nonsense design. Unerringly accurate right out of the box at 55 yards.Cannot measure FPE, but on full charge the pellets penetrate over 1" into a 2X4 at close range. Gun is well balanced to shoot off-hand. GREAT VALUE. Pyramid Air shipped on time, packaged with excellent protection of products.

    Things I would have changed:

Manual safety is very stiff and hard to disengage. Scope rings MUST be "high" versions for cartridge to be used.

    What others should know:

If you purchase scope (bundle) from Pyramid Air, make sure you indicate that they supply high rings.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is lightweight and it is accurate. It is also quiet and comparable with higher price pcp air rifles. I am comfortable to use it for hunting small games while I used it mostly for target shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine is a little bit hard to install and remove. I used a wood dowel to push and remove the magazine. I wish they are easier like my other several pcp air rifles with the same price category.

    What others should know:

The bolt should be easier to put it on the rear slot before installing the mag. I don't know if there is an after market hammer spring assembly to replace the existing one like I did with my other pcp air rifles to make the bolt easier to pull.

    Things I would have changed:

Safety is sloppy. Magazines will double feed. Bolt is hard to operate.

    What others should know:

Cheap price and the gun it self seems to be made cheap. For the price, it may be what your looking for if you want to get into pcp's.

    Things I would have changed:

Both magazines were loose fitting and caused pellet loading malfunctions.

    What others should know:

I experienced failure to feed problems on my first range trip. I contacted Hatsan via Email and they responded within 24 hours . Within 1 week I had 2 new ( and improved ) magazines shipped to my door . That is excellent customer service . Time will tell how the new mags hold up, but for now I'm happy with the the Hatsan Flash QE in .22 caliber and their customer service.

    Things I liked:

I bought the 22 caliber version of the Hatsan Flash. This is the first PCP I have purchased and I am very pleased with it. These rifles are much more forgiving to shoot than nitro piston break barrel air guns. It zeroed in 5 shots from a bench rest and shoots great groups at 20 yards using Discovery 14.3 grain pellets. The Quattro trigger is very good and was set up perfectly for me, no adjustment was needed. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the air rifle is. I mounted a UTG 3-9x40 scope with the Picatinny / Weaver style rings; the 12 shot magazine barely clears the scope tube.

    Things I would have changed:

Sling swivel studs would be a nice addition.

    Things I liked:

100 shots in and here are things I like. Power: Shooting from 40 yards at a bale of straw backed by a sheet of plywood, I'm punching holes thru the ply on full tank with pointed pellets. Reinforced with aluminum siding scraps. That's holding them in. Weight: light, well balanced, shoulders well. The grip is comfortable and makes it very easy to hold aim. Have not changed the trigger settings from the mfr. I'm sure any adjustments would only improve an already good feel. QUIET!!! My all-caps shouting in this review is louder than this rifle. You get the point. Backyard friendly is an understatement.

    Things I would have changed:

The safety: I'm sure it's a liability issue, but to take the safety off is uncomfortable. Painful almost. Clearance for optics over the magazine. I had to go with Weaver-to-Picatinny snap-in adapters...and then 1" high rings to baaaaaarely clear the magazine. It works well though with my Hatsan Optima 3-9x40 AO scope. Speaking of the magazine: It was a little difficult to get to seat properly at first (user error?), but now it seats easily and solidly. And, so far, I have had no cycling issues with it. Knock on wood.

    What others should know:

I can't give it 5 stars over a couple nit-picky-things, and 4 stars is probably too low. 4 1/2 stars is more accurate. This is an amazing rifle. I was waiting for the Fortitude, but I don't have any regrets with my decision to go with the Hatsan Flash. I am very impressed with it. Thank you to PA for ground shipping it with a full tank. Saved me many pumps.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is great! Rifle feels good in your hands and to your shoulder. Easy to operate loading and air fill. Good shoot count for the power, mine is a .22 caliber. VERY good buy for the money!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Scope rail should be higher, maybe 1/2 inch.

    What others should know:

Only issue I have with the Flash, and it's not a big problem. I would tell other buys purchase 1/2 inch riser rails or you'll need "SUPER" tall scope rings. Other than that very minor issue, I would tell anybody that this PCP is a VERY good buy. Get yourself one, you won't be disappointed!!!

    Things I liked:

    - It's light. - It was packed "ok". The bolt was protruding through the inner (hatsan) box but was contained by the outer box and was not damaged at all. It came with all the accessories as it should (probe, extra orings, two mags, single shot tray) - It's quiet! - The trigger is significantly better than I was expecting. I have owned one hatsan before (135). I HATED that trigger. More specifically, I hated the angle that the hatsan springers pull at. This trigger is MUCH better than I could have hoped for. It's not like my FX trigger, but I would not expect to be adjusting it in the near future - The magazine fed well. Yes, the mags are really cheap feeling and there are some obvious manufacturing flaws visible on them. But they worked for me.

    Things I would have changed:

    - Cheap feeling. (duh, it's a $300 pcp) but I guess it's goo for Hatsan to make a lighter rifle for once. - Make the magazine lower-profile. I am using a 3-9 UTG bug buster scope with it :-) this scope - along with the hatsan rail - along with the super-high magazine made for some frustrating moments trying to get it scoped! Out of the gazilling of rings I have around, only one ring would clear the mag (kind of...) and work with the bug buster. I had to use HIGH UTG dovetail rings AND shim the scope. I was able to trim some of the plastic from the UTG scope for shims :-) - My gun's FPE (23 fpe) does NOT live up to the advertised specs (29 fpe) here on the PA web site. Note: the gun's specs in the manual that shipped with it are different than the PA web site (22 fpe). So I'll be sending PA a message on this one. My gun shot at 1002 fpe with Air Arms 10.3 grain pellets. At the advertised FPE it should shoot JSB monsters at 1000 fps.

    What others should know:

Yay! The Hatsan Flash in (.177 caliber) arrived today (July 3rd). This is the rifle that I chose instead of the long delayed Benjamin Fortitude. It was too dark to do full chrony strings. - I only got random shots to register on my chrony. But based on the little shooting that I've done, I'm hoping for 3 mags (42 shots) which is shy of the 48 they advertise. - I only shot it off a monopod so I can't judge accuracy yet. But I DO have a good feeling .... :-) *** I am giving accuracy 4 stars but will come back and update with more info after I get more trigger time ***

The engraved fire and safe letters should be colored for ease of sight. Fire red Safe White. I used nail polish to accomplish this add on.

I mounted a UTG 4x32 fixed 35 yrd parallax scope and a UTG Tactical OP-2 metal Bipod. In the video it was stated the rifle didn't have a plug for the fill port. But mine came with one. Nice surprise. I can hit a 12 gauge shell dead center in the upright position at 50 yrds.
