10 of 130 Hatsan Flash QE Reviews
This is a great gun for this price range. Well made. Plenty of power. Easily shoot a dime at 50 yards. Will blow a hole through a rat like nothing. Easy to fill with a hand pump.
Things I Would Have ChangedRegulator, unchoked barrel for slugs
What Others Should KnowJust buy it.
It's a lot of gun for this price range. I got the .25 and I'm very impressed. Hand pump friendly
Things I Would Have ChangedPlanning on getting a regulator for it but other than that very pleased.
What Others Should KnowYou should buy one
Is quiet
Things I Would Have ChangedRotary magazine is very loose even when it is engaged, Shoot away left even after Verify that the scope is straight cannot fix this issue even with Different scope and rings
What Others Should KnowThis is not my first PCP air rifle.
Works great. Holds pressure. Lots of shots per fill. Great accuracy.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe clips don't work. Can't get the pellets to chamber. Have to wiggle the clip and sometimes remove them and re-insurt them.
What Others Should KnowThe gun came empty but charged fully. You have to buy an attachment to the fill probe to fit you fill hose
Shoots straight, not too load, fairly easy to operate. Good price for what you get.
Things I Would Have ChangedLighten up the pressure needed to load a pellet. Also it would have been nice if Hatsan took a little more time with quality control. My fill probe did not have the horizontal air hole drilled, so it was impossible to fill the rifle with air.
Mine works best with 22 grain ammo after testing with various grain.
Things I Would Have ChangedWould be even better if it was capable of 300 bar on fill.
What Others Should KnowGreat price on a budget, and is lite weight an in my new squirrel an rabbit rifle.
Price point. I picked this up for $224. My first PCP, so I really didn't know what to expect. This thing is my old break barrel on steroids. There's no comparison between them. This looks, feels and operates more like a real firearm. Bolt action works phenomenally well. Cycles magazines flawlessly. Not the most accurate but good enough for hunting and very fun plinker, which is what I bought it for. The .25 cal hits HARD. Got some of the heavy pellets and it rings plates and spinners like a .22 lr, maybe even more knockdown power...it sends S flying and I couldn't be happier. After much painful deliberation on more expensive rifles, I wouldn't do it differently.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe price of the magazines is very out of line with everything else. For the price point on the rifle itself, I can't find anything to gripe about. Regulated shots would be nice but no way at this price, think one can be installed though. It's not much of an issue at that though. Once I drop below 150 BAR I am learning to compensate for the drop in power. Makes it more challenging and adds to the fun for plinking. Now, for hunting, this could be a problem. However, you can get at least 20 shots off before you really notice adverse effects on accuracy.
What Others Should KnowBUY IT!! SERIOUSLY, JUST DO IT AND GET THE .25 CAL. WHEN YOU HIT THOSE SPINNERS, YOU'LL BE SMILING TOO!!
Light weight, shot count is pretty good. Accuracy is excellent, most pellets are hole in hole out to 35 yards. Slugs shoot pretty well through this gun.
Things I Would Have ChangedMaybe a larger air tank and make it regulated?
What Others Should KnowThis gun doesn't seem to be too "pellet-picky", but it *does* have a sweet spot in the middle of the fill range on the gauge. When filled up close to the max, I have gotten some real flyers. When you get down near 150 BAR, it shoots like the pellets are on a string.
My first PCP, had it for a couple of weeks and it's a blast. Quiet, I use it for basement/backyard plinking, definitely more than capable for that, I'm eager to try it out at longer ranges.
Things I Would Have ChangedFor the price I can't complain, I'm satisfied.
What Others Should KnowI'm not a very experienced airgunner, but I am having fun with this.

I bought a 25 caliber flash. I automatically turned up the hammerspring. Bad choice. Wouldn't shoot any kind of weight of pellet. Even put a longer barrel on it. Didn't help at all. Turned the hammer spring down, put factory barrel back on. It shoots great now. Not 22 caliber great - hole in hole-. But good enough. So I've learned a lesson, took a while tho, one more thing I've learned is h&n 20 grn. 25 cal pellets are useless. They don't work well with any kind of power. The 27 grn are great .
Things I Would Have ChangedBetter work on the barrel
