Things I liked:

Pistol grip. Semi auto.

Things I would have changed:

Reliability sucks. Returns are long. Can’t purchase insurance.

What others should know:

Semi auto quit working in under 200 pellets shot. Bolt doesn’t catch the sear it just bounces back then forward and you don’t know if there’s a pellet in the chamber or not when you have to cock it again. It doesn’t cock unless you pull it all the way back manually or flip the bolt into the rear catch

    Things I liked:

Well built. Looks and feels great. Cycles ammo flawlessly.

    Things I would have changed:

Manual is a joke. Left with alot of questions and frustrations. Had to order an adapter to fill the gun with the equipment I use on all my PCP's. I don't like the removable fill valve. Leaving it in presents issues I don't care for. Front open sight is cheap and cumbersome.

    What others should know:

Order the adapter or you'll have a gun you can't shoot for a week until it shows up. Haven't got a good group out of the gun yet with the open sights. Putting an optic on for trial.

    Things I liked:

First, I love the look and feel of this airgun. Can't deny that it's a great looking gun and it feels very solid. The front and rear sights seem to be pretty decent and would be fine for any shooter with decent eyesight. I removed both and mounted a red dot that works better for me since this gun is intended to be a close-in shooter and not long distance. There are plenty of budget friendly guns that can do just that, though I'm sure you can get reasonable distance with a decent scope, which I might test in the future. For now, I am very satisfied with the accuracy at 15-25 yards using JSB Exact King 25,39 Gr and the FX airgun 34gr. This gun in semi-auto is what I love the most. It is a really fun gun to shoot and nowhere near as loud as I expected from this gun. Among the normal items that come with an airgun, this one comes with three decent magazines, a foregrip/bipod combo and a hard case. Overall, I really like this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The location of the front sling swivel. I have found that it is in the way if you use the lower pic rail for anything other than a bipod. The foregrip/bipod that is supplied with this gun is too bulky to use comfortably and the swivel gets in the way of the push-button operation to release the bipod. A smaller foregrip actually worked great for me and it gave the gun a balanced feel but, I mounted a light instead. The swivel setup that is offered with the Hatsan Invader would work much better since it can be moved to any of the three rails as you see fit. The second thing is minor and it's that the rear sight is mostly plastic except for the cross screw and the right-side plate before the round nut. This round nut is plastic and was on very tight. It is slotted for a phillips or flat tip screwdriver but the plastic marred and I had to use some pliers to remove it. The plastic sights front and back detract from the look and feel of this gun. Iron sights would be better.

    What others should know:

The scope rail on this gun is a 11mm dovetail/weaver rail. It was a challenge to find a red dot sight that would mount on a weaver rail. Not sure why Hatsan did not just put a picatinny rail that would match up with the three rails in the front. A pic rail would have given me more options to choose from in a red dot since product descriptions on most just say picatinny and not weaver. Big picture, the cons on this airgun are minor and rectifiable. If you are looking for a fun semi-auto that looks good too and won't break the bank, this is it.

    Things I liked:

    Fun to shoot,accurate,fun to shoot!

    Things I would have changed:

loading the magazine can be a little tricky and you will need to loosen the screw a bit for easier loading and shooting

    What others should know:

Very nice rifle. probably my favorite gun to shoot and I own 8 pcp's. Also, I have to say that Pyramyd Air is a great place to do business! I have had a couple of issues and they have always resolved and quickly.

    Things I liked:

The semi-auto firing is so cool! The magazines work flawlessly and you get about 65 rounds per fill. It is also not that heavy and is accurate as hell!

    Things I would have changed:

Not a darn thing except maybe a cheaper price. These pcp airguns are getting extremely pricey.

    What others should know:

You need to loosen up the screw on the magazines, after that they function flawlessly time after time. Once your scope is dialed in you will not want to put this rifle down, it is such a fun rifle to shoot with the semi-auto firing and the accuracy is superb! All pellets touching on the target at 40 yards and more! Just get one, you will be glad you did!

    Things I liked:

Serious .22 power, tactical design and look, accuracy, dovetail rail/weaver rail, semi automatic rapid fire.

    Things I would have changed:

Weight make lighter, lower cost by at least $50.00

    What others should know:

Heavy rifle. This is NOT a toy. Offers some serious shooting with serious knockdown power and accuracy. Try the JOB Hades .22 pellet. Expensive but features somewhat justify the cost to a point.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy. The looks. 3x 12 round magazines. 3 minute hand job on the pump and it's full.

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger is way too heavy and has no feel to it.. Magazines need to be loosen and you need to file the hole where da pellet comes out. Fill your mag and try pushing pellets out witl a nail and you see where it gets stuck. File that aluminium untill your pellets are moving freely :) I only get 25-30 shots per fill. I guess i have a leaking o ring in the bottle This gun have no shrouding on the barrel as advertised. The "shroud" on this one is just a cover tube for the semi auto action mechanism. So not a shrouded barrel as this design does nothing to suppress the sound.

    What others should know:

I added a diy supressor witch made my tactical galatian nearly silent. Just one problem. The suppressor creates back pressure witch stops the gun from loading a new pellet.. it will cycle the action but will not load pellet's. So with the supressor it's acting like a bolt action gun with super loose and fast reloading due the fact that the gun loads the spring and you just need to move the hammer so a new pellet will cycle in to the breach. I'm guessing that there are too much back pressure so the magazine cant cycle or the bolt moves too little to let the magazine cycle? This gun has a free moving hammer so the hammer cocks back but the pellet pusher moves less..i'm trying different suppressor designs to see if i can overcome this backpressure problem and be able to shoot silent semi auto..

    Things I liked:

This thing is SO awesome!!!!! Semi-auto is certainly a big one for me. fairly powerful, and very quiet for its power. Looks pretty sick in my opinion and feels like the assault version of an air rifle. neat adjustable stock.

    Things I would have changed:

I honestly don't really find any fault in this gun. The trigger is on the heavy side, but this is a heavy gun....anyone that wants a sweet rifle w/a lot of energy and shots per fill will be strong enough for it to not be a problem. Of coarse, it is expensive but comes with 3 mags and good hard case AND a sling with swivel studs already installed plus good open sights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those things make a big deal to me.

    What others should know:

If you are having trouble filling it w/a hand pump, as is the case with all pcp's that need an adapter that you screw on to the probe, just tighten the female adapter and the fill probe up and it will fill perfectly instead of the air coming out the end of the hose. Oh and by the way, I am 5' 10" and the length of the gun is about perhaps 39 or 40 inches at my preferred adjustment so still a decently compact gun. I haven't used a scope with it cause I live the open sights so can't brag about accuracy, but it seems pretty accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

    Make it lighter

    What others should know:

Like someone else stated that the mags kept jamming ,I did like he did and loosened the mag screw and no more jams, also if you put a scope on it it will not fit in the case, its pretty heavy so its not a hunting gun but a great bench shooter,i do a lot of plinking so its great for me.The gun is heavy but when you put a scope on it it is heavier.

Overall good, has traditional sights. Uses the same magazine as the Hatsan BullMaster/Barrage/Sortie. Removable air cylinder.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure why the front grip is no longer included.

    What others should know:

The air cylinder is different from the other Hatsan Galatians. The HA90200 [Hatsan Air Cylinder, Fits Various...] cylinder will not fit. The diameter and configuration of the piece that screws into the rifle are different. HatsanUSA says that a replacement air cylinder is not currently available.

    Things I liked:

Had a chance to shoot my new semi auto Galatian and all I can say is wow , my gun shot perfectly in slow controlled semi auto and also in rapid fire mode and shot flawlessly every time , shot several mags worth of air arm field target pellets off hand and benched the gun at 25 yards and after dialing in the scope all shots were touching one another , the gun shoots awesome and is pretty darn quiet shooting in my back yard , screws in the magazines were a little to tight from the factory , I loosened them ever so little and they work flawlessly now. Loving this new semi auto shooter

    Things I would have changed:

A couple more magazines would be nice as there was still plenty of air in the gun after emptying all 3 mags

    What others should know:

If you buy this new semi auto gun take the time to learn its operation cause its an awesome shooter using the air arm field target pellets Richard Pollard aka Tobyjoe

    Things I liked:

It is a solid air rifle, body of the gun is built with quality and it easy to fill with the quick connect slide adapter I purchased.

    Things I would have changed:

The design of the pellet cartridge/auto dispenser seems to be a bad design and cheaply made. So far it has locked up more often than no. Therefore not so automatic? It is getting worse, rather than better, the more I use. I am trying to work with it and will be patient. Considering returning it. It also not very accurate so far, but waiting for a scope to hopefully dial it in better.

    What others should know:

It is heavy, wish it was lighter. It rated a 3 noise level, but added a Ronin Moderator and that helped reduce it. It is a new product, I would wait till they work the bugs out. It needs to be regulated and if I stay with it, I will be ordering a HUMA regulator when available.

    Things I liked:

The rifle looks and feels extremely cool. There were a few bugs that P,A, and Hatsan were right on them for me. I didn't get the fore end grip. P.A. to the rescue. The buttstock wouldn't come out as advertised. I tried anything with the two buttons on the stock. On the right it is for extending the stock. On the left, which Hatsan told me today, is the button to remove the stock. You just need to push it all the way in with something thin and blunt. I used a pencil eraser and bam the stock was out and I had a bad____gun. It really feels great. The other problem...is in order to make this rifle semi-auto, Hatsan had to change their mags. I love my other Galatian which I've had for years. Check back with me in a month. I will say as I'm about to mount 1.5" scope rings (see below), I've been shooting the fiber optic sights and I was banging a seven inch top of a can on a tree at 40 yds. Bang bang bang bang. It does deliver. It is worth jumping in if you canl

    Things I would have changed:

If possible, I'd change the magazines. Like I said, they obviously were trying to figure out what would index semi auto, but they are awkward and tall. You may not be able to use your favorite scope with this gun, but on the other hand, like me, you could find a solution.

    What others should know:

Keep your eye on this gun, It's got a few foibles, but I'm working them out and as I said, P.A. stayed with me the whole time as did Hatsan which I think is a company on the move. Of course...what the heck do I know? I just like to shoot.
