    Things I liked:

Comfortable grip, well balanced, interchangeable muzzle break/cocking aid, the high velocity delivery, and the overall look of the gun or its aesthetic. I have not tried adjusting the trigger. It has two screws for adjusting the amount of force required and the travel distance of the trigger right behind the trigger and there is a hole in the bottom of the trigger guard where it meets the grip for easy screwdriver access. I may fiddle with those settings eventually but right now I am still breaking the gun in. I'm at a little under 50 rounds fired at this point and I am satisfied with the pull right out of the box. (January 25 2021) The sights needed minimal adjustment out of the box to get them centered on the point of impact at 10 yards. The safety auto engages each time its cocked. I'm a big fan of safety. I like what you got! Good job!

    Things I would have changed:

My gun did NOT have a gold plated trigger as advertised. The picture on the box it came in had a gold trigger. Its not that I dislike the black plastic trigger, but when you spend money you want the thing in the box to match the picture on the outside. The rear sight. I would close the gap and make it from steel. Only on a sunny day or under bright lights do the fiber optic open sights truly do their job. They stand out to the point where you can just focus on the target and still clearly see the green and red dots. Evening/nighttime or cloudy conditions make easy acquisition for precision shooting a little more difficult or strenuous on the eye. I need to adjust my focus from the rear sight to the front sight to the target and back again several times double checking the gaps to center that front post. I'm looking to add a red dot scope despite what reviews say: the recoil reduction system on this gun the mounts are gonna move down the rail. I weld and a couple tacks will fix that.

    What others should know:

You should know that my gun does not fire if cocked and left for several hours. I don't know the minimum amount of time it takes for this misfire effect to happen. I'll find out. The gun fires reliably if you load, shoot, load, and shoot. Sometimes I leave the gun loaded over night. The next day I pick it up, aim, squeeze, & nothing. Not even a click. I re-cock it, aim, squeeze, & nothing. Re-cock it for the second time (3rd cock total) and it will fire. The energy is still in the system though. During those 2 re-cocks. I didn't have a tight enough grip on the gun the first time this happened and it jumped out of my hands landing safely in the grass. I shit you not, when the barrel gets to the bottom of the stroke all of a sudden it wants to close. Now I hold on tight anticipating this and all is well. Somewhat frustrated with having to cock it two additional times to iron out this wrinkle, if I was hunting and that blew my chances at nailing some varmint I'd be pissed.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! This Hatsan air pistol is very well made and is quite accurate. The recoil compensation system works very well with little felt recoil. I consistently get 1inch groups at 15 yards shooting off hand using a two handed hold.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    Things I liked:

The power this puts out for a little over a hundred dollars is exceptional. The sights are easy to set requiring no tools to adjust .It shoots pretty consistant but shooting it as a pistol, its hard to get a tight group because of it weight and awkward length.

    Things I would have changed:

for an extra 10 bucks definitely buy the supertact model because it is very uncomfortable to shoot as a pistol. You have to hold this beast like a carbine springer with an artillery hold due to its weight, length and kick.

    What others should know:

The thumb rest is solid rubber and can be shaved off with a razor knife and sanded smooth with #100 grit sand paper if your a left handed shooter. Also, this is the hardest air gun to cock on the planet! Be prepared to build some massive Arnold Guns cause it will "pump you up"

    What others should know:

I tried flaring the skirts on my pellets and that increased my velocity. With Predator alloys 11.75gr. I got 630fps. When I flared the skirt, 644fps. That's 10.81 FPE. With lead, JSB 13.43gr. I got 485fps. With a flared skirt, 544fps. That's 8.84 FPE. I flared the skirts by pressing them into the car charger plug. Pics attached.

    Things I liked:

I've had this gun for 4 years plus now. Replaced breech seal a year ago because it was getting flush. Have tried a scope on it but whatever mount I used it slipped. Just use the stock sites I feel. I see that pyramid feels it only shoots around 450 fps with hobby 11.9 rws. Recently got a chrony and was surprised it shot avg of 525 fps with the above pellet

    Things I would have changed:

Weaver mount should have been standard, dovetails are useless for the staggered mount I used with 2x20 pistol scope

    What others should know:

Gun is heavy and long, cocking is not hard even though it is stated as having 58 lbs cocking force. This gun is a plinker I feel 20 yds max. Fairly accurate with pellets 14g on down. Since I bought my marauder pistol .22, I really don't use it any more. If your serious about airgunning and want to shoot a pistol get a marauder pistol instead

Power and recoil absorbing grip. Fairly accurate when shooting pellets it likes (R-10 heavies) otherwise it can spray ones not to its taste (Beeman coated HPs).

    Things I would have changed:

Two open holes on top, just in front of rear sight, that allow dirt and other matter into spring/piston. They are threaded so assume they are for a scope base?? I filled them with a couple small screws.

    What others should know:

Large, heavy pistol that takes some effort to cock.

    Things I liked:

I had to shoot this gun a lot just to get it calm. Then I tested velocity and it was low 400-450. Then I placed some thread beneath the breech seal and now I'm getting 520-540 with RWS Super H Points. That's a 14.2 great. Accuracy is good if I do my part. I was able to adjust the trigger to a point that works well but I have no way to measure weight.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like the sights to be steal.

    What others should know:

Even after fixing the breech seal, JSB's will only give me 430 fps. I think they're not tight and don't allow pressure to build before leaving the barrel.

    Things I liked:

Mine is in .177 caliber. Nice looking pistol by the way and well made. Very hard to cock in the beginning it will get better with use but it does require some effort. The sights are very good. Easy to sight in and adjust, the fiber optic provides excellent view. I used AccuPell (7.9 gr) pellets at 10 meters distance. The test took place inside my house and that was the longest distance available. I shot five pellets groups averaging 1.5" consistently. The occasional flyer here and there but most pellets stayed close to each other. This is not bad grouping considering the fact that the pistol is brand new and will take many shot before setting in. My feeling is that better groups could be achieved with a little practice and more use of the gun. The trigger was very smooth and came adjusted right. I definitely like the trigger pull. Overall, I think I got a lot gun and fun for the money. I recommend it if you don't mind the cocking effort needed.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. It's a good pistol and an excellent purchase for the money. At least mine is.

    What others should know:

I would recommend testing different pellet brands until you get the best groups with your pistol/pellet combo. This pistol is powerful!

    Things I liked:

Good power for .22, nice design, dove tail grooves fit a UTG 11mm adapter nicely. I mounted a 2 power scope and shot it a handful of times with no problem. However the stock rear sight screw vibrated loose and fell out! I'll have to Loctite that.

    Things I would have changed:

Dump the so called "XRS-Recoil Reduction System". When I squeeze the trigger and it fires, the entire trigger group slides rear ward with the action throwing off my grip. It may be just how I hold the gun but it when it goes off my barrel has a noticeable shift to the right. I'm going to epoxy my "XRS" to make it inactive.

    What others should know:

As stated in the description, the velocity is no where near 650 fps with .22 pellets. I used Crossman 14.3 HP pellets to test it against my Bone Collector Bull Whisper IGT and there's a very noticeable difference between the two which is to be expected. But at 30 feet it was quite effective on empty beer cans.

    Things I liked:

The design is very nice, reminds me of my old Walther break action pistol with the wooden knob cocking aid I had back in the 60's. Should have kept that thing! $$$ today.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much, maybe reduce the sloppy feel of the action/XRS system.

    What others should know:

I wanted to like this pistol but pulling it from the box and having the upper action wobble in the grip bothered me. I didn't understand what the "XRS" recoil thing was. After a few emails with tech team and actually pulling the action to see for my self I decided I could live with it. It does seem a bit fussy to think of "recoil" in an air gun but I've shot 45 Auto and 44 Magnum handguns all my life so I'm not bothered by recoil. It shoots nicely but won't know how accurate until I mount my hand gun scope on it. I'd recommend it if you can deal with the character of the XRS.

    Things I liked:

The feeling of power this has when fired. COOOOOL.

    Things I would have changed:

Don't expect either of the trigger setting screws to make any tangible difference. If you can actually turn them w/o stripping the soft metal screw heads. Just so it's understood. This is not just my Mod 25 but two other guys at my club have same issue. The aspect of the sights make accuracy even harder, IMHO. Diameter of both front and back are way too big. They are easy to see though. Don't even think of using a pistol sight on this one. I bored a stop post which held it snug but scope had a quick nervous breakdown. Nothing unforeseeable with this monster, but just wanted to mention (BSA 2x20 Pistol Scope, Duplex Reticle)

    What others should know:

Again it is cool to shoot. If you like offhand shooting then start pumping iron! But the sights and the useless trigger adjustment -- LOONG trigger travel on mine -- detract from the experience. Did I mention it's COOOL to shoot! Lol, it is. I would prabably buy it again just to play around with can and bottle shooting at etc, but knowing what I was getting into makes a purchase like this a different experience. So, IMHO, heads up. Oh, had to send it back to Hatsan twice as it stopped cocking in mid-stroke.

    Things I liked:

This is a well made pistol. I have the M25 in both .177 and .22. I am impressed with the accuracy of both calibers but for me the .177 has the edge. Tested with several brands of pellets the point of impact is the same with all pellets tested

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger adjusting screws are useless. They come bottomed out with no adjustment possible. The trigger pull is stiff and creepy. I can deal with it but a longer screw would make life easier.

    What others should know:

The hard cocking takes some getting used to but not a real problem for an adult.

    Things I liked:

This is only the second pellet pistol I have owned. The first was a Daisy 717, an accurate though underpowered gun. I enjoyed it for many thousands of shots but always wanted something with serious power but still highly accurate. The Hatsan 25 fit the bill perfectly. If you do your part, it is very accurate and will challenge your shooting skills very satisfyingly. For the price, this is a very good value. You'll have lots of money left for optical sights!

    Things I would have changed:

The grips are a bit narrow for my tastes and needs to support the hand better when cocking the pistol. It does take some strength so warm up before you start shooting! The trigger is a serious concern and took some work to get it how I like it. The adjustment screws did not seem to have much effect and were already screwed in fully when the gun arrived. Hatsan is promoting this trigger system aggressively, but it needs development. The XRS recoil reduction system is novel and does operate. However the fit of the rails between the grip and the receiver needs to be more precise. If the trigger is heavy, pressure on it will cause these parts to shift, affecting the sight picture during the shot. If you can get the trigger lightened down enough, it won't be a problem. I'd also add a hole for the weaver mount anchoring screw. Finger support for the left hand, on and ahead of the trigger guard, would be nice. Many shooters like to have the left hand a bit ahead of the right when shooting.

    What others should know:

This gun kicks a good bit! If you plan on mounting red dot or scope sights, take extra care. It has been a real challenge to keep them from moving while firing. I tightened as much as I could, but slowly but surely, the scope moves. Be sure to shoot a large variety of pellets from a rest to determine what your gun likes. It was amazing how different the results were. The pellet variety packs are lots of fun to experiment with and tell you a lot about your gun. After I settled on a particular pellet, the gun shoots very well. At 40 feet (in my basement) it will group five pellets touching each other (from a rest, with a pistol scope). It's a bit heavy for off hand shooting, especially with he scope mounted, but is very accurate and satisfying. These piston powered guns will begin to move before the pellet leaves the gun, so follow through is critical for accuracy.

This is a real neat springer pistol, tack driver with a good scope

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is a real problem, there are fixes but I think the factory could have done a better job with out cost.

    What others should know:

Make sure you have a good scope mount, and a good scope, consider a droop compensator mine had some barrel droop or the mounts were to tall, I put the UTG adjustable mount on mine after the first mount failed and then the center point scope failed.

    Things I would have changed:

Except for the barrel drop, I love shooting this gun.

    What others should know:

My gun has a case of barrel droop. I have modified the front and rear sites to compensate, but it still needs work. My mods are ok for shooting in my garage, but probably not sufficent to shoot it outside. Even with the droop, I realy enjoy shooting this gun. Since getting it, I have shot it more than any gun I own. I have never given it a rest with other guns in the closet.
