The NovaStar is lighter than the Nova. I have both and love the accuracy of them both. Tuned them bother at an average of 855fps using JSB 25.39g redesigned in .22cal. Hits like a hammer.
Things I would have changed:Nothing up to this point. Only had it for one day so far. It would've been longer but had a faulty 1st one. Sent it back and pyramyd was great with return and shipping.
What others should know:If you buy one of these you should check it for air blowing out from under stock. If so send it back. Pyramyd will get you another one. Would've give all 5 star rating if it wasn't for having to send 1st one back in.

Great looking stock, 2 mags and extra Orings very accurate. I also like the power this gun put out but it was just a little too much .
Things I would have changed:This gun should have been regulated and a silencer included because the gun is loud.
What others should know:This is a beast of a gun. With JSB 15.89 pellets velocity started out at 1058 fps. Velocity dropped very fast after that. Actually after the first magazine was empty it was difficult to chase the scope zero because the velocity kept dropping. After 20 shots the gun sounded like it was burping. I only got about 40 shots and the velocity was down to 645 fps. This is why a gun this powerful should be regulated. I got nowhere near the 90 shots claimed by Hatsan. This gun has so much potential. I got a bad one and ended up returning it to Pyramid. Others folks mileage will vary with this gun. Pyramid Air customer service is second to none.

Power and accuracy
What others should know:After installing a height adjustable scope ring to bring shot group up, a trigger adjustment, barrel cleaning, the accuracy is outstanding. It is loud and most pellets break the sound barrier.

This gun is gorgeous, stock is the best looking stock of all my PCPs FX Crown , Hatsan Nova, Karl Puncher Jumbo all nice but no comparison. Lots of power and accurate. Great adjustably in this stock. Very comfortable to hold. love this gun!!
Things I would have changed:The gun is loud 113 dis. netback yard friendly needs a moderator. The clips fit very snug, other then that it is great.
What others should know:The box says 1020 fps I could only get 987 as a high with JSB 25.4 pellets, not sure what pellets they got there numbers with. But this may change over time as I break it in. Still this is an awesome rifle.

Very accurate, much lighter then the original nova . Beautiful walnut stock and adjustable cheek piece. This gun is a absolute tack driver . You really get a lot for your money .
Things I would have changed:Please update the owners manual to the new model. There are many changes on the nova star and would be nice to see a clear set of instructions on magazine filling , etc
What others should know:The magazine loads the exact same way as a FX impact or crown . Counter clockwise , drop first pellet in from bottom skirt first . Flip over the magazine and finish loading the rest nose first as usual .
