Need to Use Steel BB’s Not Copper

Copper plated BB’s are slightly too big to feed reliably. The steel work well for me, so I won’t give this a 1-star review. A few reason why it’s a 2-star product:

    1) manual safety has no place on such a tiny pistol - man hands cannot help but activate it over and over by accident. 5 minute dremel cutoff and polish job - adios to the manual safety feces.

    2) overall quality is lacking for such an expensive product with the Sig name. I wonder how much we are paying for just the name.

    3) weight is too light, as others have pointed out. Overall quality is 2.5 stars, and should be improved.

    4) Sig, instead of the nice form letter responses about how you want us to be satisfied customers, perhaps someone from Sig could explain what product improvements you are willing to push for - consumer demand should be driving you to seek improvements, should it not?

    Things I liked:

This little pistol has a nice feel, but the trigger is giving me a little trouble. Sometimes, after reloading the mag, it feels like the safety is on, even though it is switched off. I will try shooting 3 or 4 more mags to see if the problem continues.

    Things I would have changed:

I have only shot around 40-50 rounds, but it consistently shoots about 4 inches low at 9 yards. The cry we all seem to want is adjustable sights (which probably is not going to happen on a pistol at this price. Also, the finish on the slide is not very durable. First time out, it is already showing wear on the slide, take down lever, and the safety.

    What others should know:

I got about 4 mags out of a CO2 pod at ambient temp
    of 77F.
Even with my less than zealous comments on the pistol, I still kinda like it.

    Keeps jamming

I really love this gun. When it shoots!!. Great feel and very faithfull to the 9mm. BUT it keeps jamming and clogging up my BB's in the barrel. I can't empty one single magazine without emptying also the barrel for 1-2 BB's. It usually jams right in the beginning of the barrel indicating it's a bit tad too narrow to release the BB (see picture). I know BB quality of course play a role. Please guide me. I am using Diana Ultra Smooth Premium Grade. I live in DK - and BB 4.5mm is not a big thing here so difficult to obtain premium BB's. I live in DK now (Houston 2012-2017) and bought the gun from this webpage July 2019. Help. :)

cap strips and you can't change the CO2 cartridge

Like the title says, the cap for the CO2 cartridge is soft aluminum, and you when (not if) it strips out, the gun is useless. Have not found a replacement

    Excellent Practice shooter!

After spending a lot of time and money at the gun range practicing, I was looking to buy a small 22 to save on cost of ammo. Then I saw that SIG had the P365 Air Pistol. Since my conceal carry weapon is the P365, this was a easy decision to buy!

I have shot it indoors and outdoors, short (2-3 yrds) and long (up to 5yds) distances and able to hit the targets.

Shooting the Air Pistol then shooting the 9mm demonstrated that SIG engineering was able to provide the same trigger pull and action in both weapons! My son and son-in-law was also impressed with the craftsmanship.

With the Air Pistol I have been able to increase practice time and lower my cost, which was the goal for me. Even set up a practice area in the house for the Air Pistol! Which also reduced the cost of going to the shooting range.

Have been able to run through 4 clips of 14 shot/clip consistently on one CO2 cartage!
With manual operation of slide have gotten 6 clips, but velocity drops off.

Have recommended to others and very satisfied with this purchase!!

    Great gun

I overall have no problems with the gun but the magazines for them tend to develop a leak after some use and some have a leak out of the box. It is a hundred percent accurate to the real model so trading with this gun will be great but not that much power.

    Broken after a week

I bought this a week ago and it's broken already. It jammed when the CO2 ran out and now the slide is stuck to the rear and won't return to the forward position.

    Don`t buy this

This has to be the worst airgun I`ve ever owned. Pull the trigger and it unloads the clip and co2 cartridge in one fell swoop. Pain in the butt to load, this gun just sucks.

    Great Concept, Horrible Execution

I own an P365 XL, which is fantastic, and thought this would be a good way to get some cheap practice in. Wrong. Other than weight, this looks and feels like the real deal. Sadly, this airgun got 6-8" groups at 20 feet that were 6" low and to the right. That's right, you can't hit a can at 20 feet. I have other BB air pistols of a similar type, they typically get 2-3" groups (can worthy) at that range. Neither sight is adjustable. I could probably correct the elevation with a file, but the windage is another matter. Perhaps monkeying around with the internals might help. Otherwise it's a handsome paper weight.

    Slide issues, double feeds...

Just got this and tried it yesterday. By the end of the 2nd magazine, the slide just got stuck!! I was worried that it was already broken—tried to figure out what went wrong but couldn’t and was afraid to disassemble it. I ended up just jostling the slide a bit and it responded so i could shoot again but afterwards, i noticed 2 BB’s firing at once at random. Frustrated by this occurence and wonder how to fix this so it functions consistently—there must be a way to fix it. Also hissing/possible leaking the first time I installed the CO2 despite using silicone grease at tip of the CO2 cartridge.

    Malfunction

The whole clip is shooting right through the gun and I only pulled the trigger one time also all the CO2 is being wasted all with one trigger pull how can I fix it

    Things I liked:

Built in magazine, you can see how many shots remain. Power. Accuracy. Weight. Size.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not much.

    Broken out of the box

Bought the air pistol to replicate training with my 9mm p365 unfortunately I can't even give a review as it is broken straight out of the box. When I try and load a C02 cartridge the air simply escapes out the back valve of the magazine.

    Things I liked:

A good attempt that doesn't deliver

    Things I would have changed:

This second generation tries to correct the flaws of the first generation

    What others should know:

It needs adjustable sights. Mine shoots to 4 o clock and lower. Erratic velocity can be felt, and translates to fliers galore. If you must have an understudy for the centerfires pistol it might be worth it. It does not come close to meeting my standards of accuracy

    P365 Air Pistol

The air pistol provides for me, at home, the opportunity to practice trigger and muzzle control - my range time and costs are reduced AND my accuracy is way better. An excellent investment.

    Works better than reviews say

Gun shoots better than they say it does. Shoots a nice tight group at 5 meters. Cock gun before inserting magazine. Pull trigger with nice continuous motion and it shoots fine. I get about 5 mags per CO2 refill. Gun is take down capable. Remove mag, turn take down lever down, pull slide back and lift rear off. Very happy with purchase so far.

    Stopped Working

The air pistol worked great when it was new. I purchased it the first week of April, 2020 and it is now the second week of June, 2020. I purchase a new mag about 2 weeks ago because the Co2 cartridge cover stripped. I was using the Allen key that was provided so i don't know how it managed to strip. The metal they used for the cartridge cover is very weak and WILL strip. Fast forward to today, the air gun doesn't fire at all. It can't be jammed by debris because its been kept in a very clean area the whole time and hasn't been exposed to dirt or water. Im not a handy guy so i can't open it and diagnose the issue but if the people at Sig can reach out and try to help that would be great.

Good for a very short time

Loved it for about 20 magazine worth of shots...then it jammed. Could not rack the slide and trigger wouldn't work. Nothing would release the slide forward.

    FUN

THIS IS FUN TO SHOOT, ONLY PROBLEM I'M OUT OF BB AND CAN'T FIND ANY ONE THAT SELLS 4.5

    LOOKS GOOD but JUNK!

Bought one of these new yesterday, and shot about 5 bb’s before it went full auto! Now when you put a new cartridge in it releases all co2 as soon as you screw it in. Biggest piece of JUNK I have ever bought. I expected so much more from SIG.
