Would have been 5 star except for the cheap, poorly made, (Plastic?) sights. Certainly not on par with the real wood stock and the accurate gun, 1st 2 shots grouped 1/2 inch at 10 yds.
Things I would have changed:SIGHTS!

It is a replica so I won't claim this rifle is too heavy, it's meant to be & after handling it for a while I can really appreciate the toughness of the troops that hauled this baby around the battlefields. That being said, I like everything about this rifle so it was worth the wait.Above all else, these are my favorite sights, they just seem to be the quickest & easiest to get on target with period! The loading port is not as generous as described so you will have to figure out the best way to load with your hands not mine. I have fairly small hands & it took me 3 sessions to figure out my most efficient method of loading. For some great shooting enjoyment, I strongly suggest getting yourself the crazy 8's self resetting metal target, you will really like this combination, they go really good together.Have fun, that's what it's all about!!!Oh, this rifle is quiet enough to shoot in my cellar even at night.
Things I would have changed:Not A Thing!
What others should know:At this point in time, with all these great replicas being put out, I think it's about time we get the iconic M1 Garand, the granddaddy of battle rifles!!!

the weight and style pretty much replicates the m1a
Things I would have changed:the fore end stock is thicker than the original, , takes a little getting used to. the safety is opposite of the original
What others should know:its a little difficult loading the pellet

Realistic weight, very accurate, moderate cocking force needed. I'm very pleased with it
Things I would have changed:Nothing material, I would try to move the chamber back where the actual gun chamber is located. Having it forward on the hang guard makes sense from an ascetic perspective but the additional height of the shroud by the chamber makes loading a little more difficult for people with bigger hands (like me) I would like if the plastic fake muzzle break was actually a functional moderator.
What others should know:This is a great replica and a quality piece. Enough power for pest control in 22

Fairly accurate, though I had to adjust the rear sight very far to the left, to dial it in. Good power. Design is close to a real M-!A. I have a few questions not covered in the owners manual. Should I contact you, or Springfield?
Things I would have changed:Pay more attention to the mounting of rear sight, or make front sight adjustable. Make the users manual a little more descriptive as to features.
What others should know:Weight is comparable to real M1A. Not for the weak.

I have a real M1A so this one is very well done . shoot's very accurate and is heavy just like the real one . very nice gun.
Things I would have changed:Has a plastic or nylon cocking gear Don't know how long that will last kinda looks cheap that's all I noticed.
What others should know:Once you get used to loading it . it's very fun to shoot .

Brings back a lot of memories for basic training. The very first group out of this at 50 ft was .435 for 5 shots, although 3 inches high I'm already outshooting better groups then my Diana 350 I bought last month. Trigger is excellent, not bad to cock, not easy to load with 74 year old fingers. Far surpassed my expectations.Im going to have to add some material to the front sight to bring elevation down for my 50 foot range Elevation screw is all the way down. I bought this for a wall hanger did not expect it to shoot like this. I'll have to hang the Diana 350 on the wall and shoot this. Buy this, mine is 22 version, you can't go wrong
Things I would have changed:Higher front sight
What others should know:Excellent at any price

Feels pretty good. M-14 was my issue weapon in USMC in Vietnam. Sights are really nice. Air Venturi scope mount fits perfect, and is adjustable just like the real thing.
Things I would have changed:Stock could have been closer to real thing. Miss the magazine. Any chance of making a gas piston? Had to remove some material from bottom rear of scope mount so the peep wasn't blurred (arch cutout should be slightly larger). Really needs to have sling mounts.
What others should know:No instructions for adjusting optional scope mount. If you use a scope, you absolutely need an add-on cheek piece. This is not a superb replica, but it is a blast to shoot and very accurate with heavier pellets. Any chance of doing a test of the H&N .22 slugs various diameters and weights? I'm just cheap and don't want to invest in all the different types.

Fun to shoot. The adjustable sights work well. Excellent value.
Things I would have changed:Can't mount a scope without the shortest rings you can buy then shim it more to get the elevation centered. Windage is not a problem but elevation is. Both rifles I have had problems. One I repaired and one that needs to go back to Air Venturi.
What others should know:If your rifle needs repair don't count on Air Venturi. They are unresponsive.

Got mine the other day. Very HAPPY! 2nd shot at a ravioli can and the chef wasn't smiling any more. Took a few pot shots too. It shot bbs 150 feet with expected accuracy. Its a nice replica, but not exact.
Things I would have changed:Not anything. Easy to use. FUN to own!
What others should know:It is not a "spot on" replica. But is cool and fun to shoot.

I love the wood stock and the detail of the rifle. Looks and feels like the real deal. The trigger is better than most pellet rifles. Not a mile of take-up.
Things I would have changed:Add a box magazine for looks and storage. Maybe even change the design to accept a functional magazine for multiple shots.
What others should know:If you're an older shooter with older shooter eyes, get the scope mount and mount a red dot. The peep sight is great for younger eyes, but not so great for me.

I carried one in Basic Training and the weight reminds me of the real thing. It looks and feels really familiar. I wouldn't say it was easy to cock but with the extension it is acceptable. I have owned a real M1A and it matches pretty close except the stock is a little thick and the missing magazine looks out of place. I need to get it to an outdoor range to try it at distance. At close range the .22 Cal really packs a punch. I like it.
Things I would have changed:I don't see anything I would change but I do think that with a little bit of cosmetic tooling you would get a beautiful M1 Garand on the same basic platform. The rifle internals wouldn't need any changes just externals with a two piece wooden stock and the bayonet lug, front sight, gas piston and flash hider. After all the M1 Garand is where the M1A/M14 came from.
What others should know:I had some reservations about it when it was first announced because it just didn't look right with no magazine hanging down. Now that I have it I just wish I was a little younger so I could handle the weight which is as I remember it. Just hold it straight out at shoulder length and see how long you can make it. That's realistic. I do know that if they come out with an M1 Garand version I think I might buy that one too.

Carried a XM 21 in the infantry, and own several M1As. Chronographed 14.3 Crossman Premiers at 740 fps avg. Sight in was quick, 5 shots got her on, the sights are very good. Group at 30 paces (25 yards, bench rest) was .75 inches, so the accuracy is there. Trigger pull is very light with no creep, which was not expected, better than my match M1A. Stock is a bit oversized, forward of the trigger guard, but probably needs to be. Bear in mind, M14 match and more commonly issued birch stocks (big red stocks) are larger than the original issue walnut (not used for long) or fiberglass stock. If viewed relative to a issue birch big red, this stock is fairly close, in both size and wood grain. The rifle cocking effort is minimal for the power. Be aware the safety is backwards in operation compared to a M14.
Things I would have changed:Add sling attachment points. There is plenty of room with the cocking leaver back to clear a 20 round fake magazine, and would look good with one. Am planning on cutting down a 20rd magazine, and attaching to stock.
What others should know:A standard M14/M1A scope mount will not work without some modification. You are probably better off getting the one made for this rifle. The none slotted faux muzzle brake acts as a sort of silencer, a pretty good one, the rifle is not loud relative its power range. It looks alot like a M14, very good fit and finish, good price point, accurate, good trigger, weight very close to the real deal. Bought to supplement M1A match training efforts, appears it will work very well for that.

Great shooter, for the price not a bad deal.
Things I would have changed:The stock is a log, not correct in shape from the trigger guard forward it is way to large. I carried an m14 in the paratrooper before the m16s were issued. Even tool marks were still on the forearm .
What others should know:Please correct the stock, this would improve the appearance of this historic weapon. And should increase sales to history buffs and shooters alike.

Very nice replica, very similar to the M14 that I qualified with back in 1970 during basic training. I've not shot it a lot yet but cocks easily enough that you don't really need the extension if you don't want to use it. The trigger was nothing special but not bad either. The weight was substantial but I doubt that I'd carry it in the field all day anyway. Certainly not disappointed with my purchase.
Things I would have changed:It would be nice if they had put a faux magazine under the action to complete the realistic look. It was the first thing I, and I'm sure many others, noticed was missing. It would even be an easy fix as an add on if someone wanted to design one. A frame screwed right to the stock with a clip on magazine that could hold pellets etc.
