    Things I liked:

The scope, although a 4x32; has a cool tactical look and the illuminated reticle feature is cool. The stock feels nice. Never any scope issues or problems with the mounts.

    Things I would have changed:

Put a 3x9 scope on a $200 + gun. Price is too high.

    What others should know:

Its light in weight, and hold sensitive. You will need to put through a good 500 + shots through this gun to clear the dieseling. After this is broken in, you will experience the noise dampened feature. That said, it is very loud in the beginning- like a .22. The trigger pull is long.

    Things I liked:

Good value This air rifle is a good value it feels solid and it is very powerful, I like the scope it comes with and it also feels solid and it is much better than what most air guns in this price range come with. The cocking takes some effort and the gun is not that quiet but this is based on my first and only test shot, others say it will quiet down as it breaks in.

    Things I would have changed:

Overall I like this rifle but the suppressor is not that good at all in fact the day I brought this rifle I also brought the crosman Titan in 22 with the nitro piston and it is much quieter than the stoger.

    What others should know:

It's a good gun but if you are buying it for the suppressor you will not be happy with it

    Looks and feel.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope and a small chamfer to loading port

    What others should know:

Ive been having time finding a suitable pellet for this rifel. At 10 yrds allmost anything will hit same hole but at 25 and 30 ive been having a time. After chamfering the loading port the rws superpoints have been really good though. Also have a new scope on the way.

    Things I liked:

The look, the cocking effort, the power, the suppressor and the killer deal on pellets! I have to admit, I love the RWS48 I got right before this, and I feel a little guilty, but Ive been shooting this a lot more! Many snobs will probably dismiss this and Stoegers other guns as Chinese crap... Their loss. The stock is solid, the gun IS quiet after expected break in, this is a powerful gun and after installing a Leapers 3-9x32 bug buster with an offset mount it is a KILLER combo. I even like the trigger everyone hates, it definitely contains metal and CAN be adjusted.

    Things I would have changed:

The option of open sights with a shrouded/silenced barrel... Thats it on complaints...

    What others should know:

Id recommend hurrying to get the great free pellet deal, but its past... Got 5 200ct tins of Stoeger(actually H&N) brand pellets. Love it!!!

    Things I liked:

light weight and easy to draw on target, shoots very well and boring accurate out to 30-35 yards.Gun is quiter then other brands that its up against.dont mistake mechanical noise for the sound it makes, the pellet crack when it leaves the barrel is quiter.Easy to cock and trigger not bad after a little tuning of it.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope for sure.It needs a more powerfull one that i have already changed to,smoother trigger from factory would be nice but the after market triggers make it a sweet pull.

    What others should know:

mine is a 22 and had very little dieseling but after tearing it down and honing cylinder and tuning it was like night and day.Get rid of what ever lube they put in it and use the good stuff like tar and molly.Change the piston seal when tearing down to get even better performance!clean the barrel from front so as not to get patch caught in the exhaust holes in suppressor but be gentle so as not to damage barrel or crown.opposite of most guns.

    Things I liked:

Great size and weight. Handier than most in it's power range. Very light (25.5# on mine) cocking force . Does seem quiet when it's not dieseling. Stock feels good in hands and to shoulder. fireing sequence is smooth and twang free. power is plenty for most back yard applications. Synthetic stock and barrel shrowd make this a robust and quiet rifle to drag around teh field.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger: I went GRTIII as soon as it got here. Made a big difference. Some way to mount a sling would be handy. Scope: I upgraded to a 3-9x50 leapers and it brightens things right up!

    What others should know:

Mine shoots around 750 fps with 12.65 gr silverbears. 14.3 g CP's/ Benjys run arounf 695. Accuracy is decent and improving as the gun settles. I needed to add a drop of silicone chamber oil every 75 rounds or so during the first 300 rounds to keep the (sometime violent) deseling down. Not the prettiest air gun I own but quickly becoming a favorite.

The look and feel is great. It is pretty well balanced. the illuminated recticle also works well in low light conditions.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better scope mounts.

    What others should know:

Clean the barrel and the dieseling will go away.

Auto safety sets on when barrel is cocked.

    Things I would have changed:

Does not have a regular sight so you can not use it without a scope.

    What others should know:

The gun is not as quiet as the ads portray. It is only a few db quieter than their regular rifles.

    Things I liked:

light and easy to handle.nice rifleing and decent blueing.shoulders well

    Things I would have changed:

one with no scope as i prefer a bit stronger scope on my guns, have already seen nitro pistons in these guns so it would be nice if they came with one,

    What others should know:

This gun is alot less noisy then most,if you tear this gun down and tune it the proper way after getting all the so called lube out of it and doing lubing it right it gets boreing accurate to 30 plus yard.snmooth out the trigger and totallly different gun to shoot,

    Things I liked:

Price, accuracy, and reliability are all great qualities of this air rifle. Other than having to realign the scope and loctite the mounting screws I have no complaints. I tried several different pellets sighting in, the most accurate being the Stoeger X Match target pellets, shooting 1" groups at 30 yards. Although it is not as quiet as anticipated, I'm sure the report will get quieter as more rounds are shot. Overall I am very pleased with this air rifle.

    the safety style

    What others should know:

this air rifle is no where near as quiet as they advertise, u can talk people here at pyramid, they say theres a dieseling affect, altitude the speed of sound and then talk to to stoeger and they say it should shoot as quiet as they advertise, i have nearly 200 pellets thru mine and my 22cal is quieter, i have several other 1000fps air rifles that are quieter right out of the box and they dont claim to be the quietest..save your money and stay away from stoeger....

NICE SCOPE, I LIKE THE GREEN OR RED DOT. TRIGGER IS EASILY ADJUSTED, HAS A RIFLE FEEL. LOTS OF POWER AND ACCURATE.

    Things I would have changed:

HAVE FACTORY GO EASY ON THE CHAMBER OIL IT TOOK 300 SHOTS TO CLEAR THE DIESELING AND SMOKE BEFORE IT SETTLED DOWN. CHAMFER THE CHAMBER FOR PELLET INSERTION.

    What others should know:

TIGHTEN THE SCOPE MOUNTS, THEY WERE LOOSE AFTER THAT THE ACCURACY IMPROVED. GETTING SINGLE HOLE GROUPS AT 30' WITH 10.5 GRAIN PELLETS.

    Things I liked:

Very quiet. I was shooting in my backyard, and there were some rabbits 100 feet away. Except for one ricochet, they never moved. The scope was easy to sight in, and I can shoot 1 inch groups freestanding, and .25 inch groups on the bench. Plus this is a great looking gun! My friends are all impressed.

    Things I would have changed:

My only complaint is the battery in the scope was DOA. But it was a $2 fix, so not much to complain about.

    What others should know:

My nieghbor has quite a few airguns, including an X10. This is a nice improvement. I had a Diana in the past, and this gun is every bit as good.

    Things I liked:

Seems like a lot of gun for the money, very substantial manufacture. I haven't broken it in yet, it is still dieseling for more sound and velocity. The factory over oiled it. still seeping oil when upright. Scope is very nice.

    plenty of power

    Things I would have changed:

should have a better trigger...has lots of creep before breaking by can get used to it with much shooting.Still pretty loud

    What others should know:

Rifle is relatively new and still pretty loud. I believe it is still dieseling . It "pops" and smokes at the shot.Hoping it quiets down after all oil is burned off,,,how many shots does that take? Hmmm...I'm still on first half of 500 can diablo.

    Things I liked:

    Looks cool. Seems powerful.

    Things I would have changed:

Either a better scope or availability of open sights.

    What others should know:

This is my first pellet air gun since I was a kid shooting a daisy so I have nothing to compair to. However, I was expecting a quiet gun. Not at all quiet. If you shoot without ammo it is quiet, with ammo it sounds like a .22. I don't know if it's the scope or the gun, but after 3 different shooters, we could not get a consistant shot group with the scope. Several attempts to realign the scope we still had to max out the windage adjustment and it still was 3/4 to 1 inch off. I am not sure what is considered the max distance for this type of gun, but we were shooting at 30 yards. Overall, I would say it is a fair investment.

    Things I liked:

    accurate, hard hitter

    Things I would have changed:

going to put a better scope, like the one that comes with th x20

    What others should know:

I dont notice any "quietness" with this xs20s. Actually my x-10 and x-20 seem quieter than the ''s'' model! Shot about 25 pellets, mabye needs more, but thinking about it I dont see how baffles can quiet the spring thud. Thought I had one up on the starlings but doesnt make any difference. But it is 22cal and does hit extremely hard...

    Things I liked:

I've had a Walther Talon Magnum for a while now, so when I say this is the quietest gun I've ever owned.... I mean it's allmost quieter than the pellet impacts on paper targets.... I used some Gamo spring gun oil on it and it was a bit loud for the first dozzen shots, but after that it settled down to allmost no spring noize.... Though the real selling point on this one is the light cocking effort and the accuracy!!! This thing is allmost allways dead-on accurate!!! I've been using Beeman Kodiak Matches in it all day and I still haven't had a flyer yet.... I also like the groove they've notched into the barrel in place of a scope stop!!!! It's light, it's easy to cock, it's extremely accurate, it's the quietest air rifle I've ever fired and it doesn't use a standard scope stop!!! If your looking for a good .177 Cal air rifle this is a great way to go!!!

    Things I would have changed:

The safety on mine was a bit stif and hard to use. I put some Gamo Springer Oil in it and it loosened right up after a few shots, but it had me a little worried at first.... Also, some tape inside the scope rings would have been nice. It's a good scope though, it has a nice look and it great eye relief.... Other than that I'm very happy with mine!!!

    What others should know:

I have a 4-16x scope I wanted to mount, but after feeling the light weight and seeing the barrel grove I decided against it.... If you allready have a scope, take a good look at the rings before you mount it.... Just my thoughts....
