Things I liked:

Super accurate, good shot count within the sweet spot. IMO the best psp out there in this price range.

Things I would have changed:

Removeable moderator is a must. Honestly I preferred the look of the original model with the removeable moderator and the barrel shroud. Not a big fan of the pencil barrel at all. Bring that style back, add another inch or two to the barrel length and add an adjustable buttstock for length of pull and this little bullpup will take over the market. Honestly I'd buy another .22 in a minute and add the .25 to the fleet instantly if these changes ever get made.

What others should know:

Just remember the price point and what your buying. If you want a dual regulated pcp with all the bells and whistles,..buy an FX for 2k,...if you want a heck of good rifle for the $$$ this one is hard to beat

Solid stock or cover all of those screw holes. To be Regulated.

    What others should know:

It doesn't affect me because I don't have the property/area, so sound is not an issue for me however I do get that others would like to be able to remove the monterator without sending out to be machined? It is a $500. Mid priced PCP.

    Things I liked:

I have had this rifle for several weeks now. I also purchased the Umerex NOTOS in .22 cal. I had PCP rifles several years ago but lost all to tragedy I am 72yo so my interest has changed to this being, 'just for fun' PCPs have much improved. Rifles are very expensive. I would have liked the FX Wildcat MK3, however these best fits my wants. This was a good choice. I have a bullpup and a pistol with stock. Their weight was also a factor in selecting the NOTOS is about 4 pounds and, the Reign is about 7. Both will gain about 1.5 pounds with scope. I highly recommend both. Great fun factor. I do enjoy them both for various, but separate reasons. Compare the specs. Both are a good buy, both shoot very well. Must experiment with different pellets to fit your desires. I am more about close range target out to 30 yards. I highly recommend both. If I could have only one, I would keep the NOTOS. It is light with less mass. But the Raign has a longer accurate range.

    Things I would have changed:

I have only one thing to suggest on the Reign magazine. On the rotating part mark the sides with a paint stripe so you can know when you are on the last pellet. Simple to do. I bought 5 mags.

    What others should know:

it is a heavy rifle, but that also has some advantages and means a more structurally sound design. However, the other PCP bullpups have similar weights from 7 to 10 pounds. The more expensive rifles all require attentions which can result in more time, adjustment, expenses which can reduce the fun factor. Can you hunt with it? Yes. of course. But if you are buying for hunting then spend more money.

    Things I liked:

The Reign is a short stocky bullpup which is what I liked about it. Very accurate if I do my part. comfortable in the hand and to shoulder. I took whatever they call that thing on the end of barrel and replaced with a custom moderator. It tamed the the barrel report nicely. The hammer mechanism is my biggest complaint. It is "LOUD"! in the shooting position. And I didn't have my hearing aids on! :-(

    Things I would have changed:

We should have access to buying the European model of the Walther Reign. Those models are barrel shrouded and end of barrel threaded to receive a moderator of choice. Something I prefer on any gun in this price range and up!

    What others should know:

It is a nice bullpup. Just has a loud hammer mechanism bang! I you have normal hearing, you may want to wear ear plugs while shooting the Reign.

    Things I liked:

I have two of them, both in 22 caliber. One was purchased from Pyramid Arms and the other from another owner, who had removed the existing moderator. Both air rifles also had modified trigger springs and adjustments were made to the trigger pull. Once the trigger spring is replaced with of a ballpoint pen one, you will have a proper two stage trigger, and the other adjustments detailed in the instruction manual will leave you with a very nice hunting trigger. The pull weight is approximately 1.5 lbs, and is exceptionally smooth for a bullpup design. I also added Boom Mat in both of these air rifles for deadening the recoil impulse heard and felt in the stock. Boom Mat works very well in that regard. Boom mat was placed in the areas in front of and in back of the magazine insert, as well as the two open spaces in the lower rifle stock. The rifles are now very, very quiet with addition of a Donny FL Koi.

    Things I would have changed:

Aesthetically and sonically, I would like a shorter, shrouded barrel.

    What others should know:

The moderators were removed from both of the new ones (heat the cone and twist the can off. Then use a wrench to loosen the cone until it can be fully unscrewed. This way the moderator is not damaged and can be reused. The magazines are easy to use and cycle the rounds perfectly. I have been using H&N 18.1 grain Barracudas and accuracy is 1/2" out 30 meters. A heavy pellet is required for this air rifle. My chrono showed 960 fps with 37 flbs. I do like the design, balance and handling of the Walther Reign. Once the noise and trigger issues are resolved, it is a pleasure to use and highly accurate. Kudos to both Umarex and Pyramid Arms.

    Things I liked:

So, as promised this air rifle is light, fits in your shoulder like a glove and in my case less than one magazine got groups nearly within the same hole at 17 yards. The Reign is an awesome looking addition to my family of air guns. Good value for the amount I paid. Really love I was able to attach a bipod. I would also say the shot count for an unregulated PCP seems to be pretty high in my first days playing with it.

    Things I would have changed:

I think it sucks and was wanting to return it because this is not the same gun shown at shot show. This air gun is loud with a capital L”. As it is offered I honestly do not recommend this as backyard friendly. My wife never complains about me shooting but, when she heard this one go off, she let me know how loud it was. Yup, no need to bring out the Decibel meter if she heard it from the other side of the house with a closed door.

    What others should know:

I am thinking Walther at some point is going to offer a barrel that you can add on an aftermarket suppressor so, if you can wait, wait! The only problem with it is how loud it is. It barks! I really think we should have gotten an offering that was regulated and with a 1/2" thread on the barrel. I would have been gladly happy to pay more for those inclusions.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

I have the .25 cal. I like the Rugged build. It's sophisticated... yet simple. The thicker than average Walther barrel(. 55 inches) is much thicker than my other airguns(FX,Benjamin, Logun,BSA)which range between .40-.45 inches. The barrel is held in a solid block of aluminum in 3 SEPARATE places... not one like most airguns, but it is free floated from the stock. The ambidextrous cocking lever is a great option...I tried both sides and preferred the proper side(right for righties)... too many Leftists this day in age anyhow. The safety is American proper like a trusty Remington 870 before they were made from pot metal. The magazine design is the best I've seen for spring loaded magazines and are rectangular and compact. All spring loaded mags have a high probability of damaging pellet squirts so I prefer revolver mags like on the FX Cyclone and HW100. The side lever is nice, but not FX nice and the trigger is great for a bullpup. Unlike others, I got 45ft.lbs stock and regged.

    Things I would have changed:

Walther messed up big with the hollow stock. They could have made a clam shell that filled in the open spaces better. I about went deaf from the hammer strike. I wasted hours filling the stock with Dynamat which was truly absurd for a $600 gun. This being said, the polymer used throughout this gun is extremely tough...similar to S&W M&P so it is NOT cheap plastic... it just sounds and feels like it...I know because I chopped the h#ll out of this gun. The utterly useless heavy HOLLOW moderator(barrel weight) should be removable. The trigger should be metal at this price range and the first stage 200lb spring needs to be replaced upon receiving with a spring from a pen. The block shrouds the hammer and forms the transfer port(no more broken or deformed valves and is rugged and very precise, but it's the first block I've ever seen made of polymer so time will tell on longevity, but I'm not overly concerned being I've got millions of rounds thru my plastic bang sticks.

    What others should know:

This gun is ideal for the rugged American who wants a tough truck gun to bag a hog at 20 yards. This is a modders worse nightmare. There are liars out there talking about how this gun uses standard CGA320 paint ball fittings... it does NOT! it uses a proprietary 12.2 cubic inch STEEL bottle with a proprietary necked down o- ring sealed 5/8" UNF fitting. I know because I swapped out that ridiculous 2lb bottle with a much lighter aluminum Ninja bottle and installed a regulator... and no the stock will NOT accommodate this. Why go thru all this? Well, because it outshoots all my guns. I can get 5 shots in .40 inches at 55 yards using 25.39 JSB KINGS. The sweet spot for this gun stock is 150 bar(2200 psi American). Regged American...I get 32 shots at 870 fps.. that's over 3 mags on a 3200 psi fill. There is NO easy way to adjust the spring tension or open up the transfer port since they are in the block, but it can be done if you like cussing...I just ran out of 4 letter words.

    Things I would have changed:

Trash the descriptions and specs not accurate I have no clue as to why companies can advertise one thing and sell you another

    What others should know:

Considering the shot count for this pcp two magazines would be a given and the permanent suppressor is ridiculous and one more comment if you would like to get rid of the plastic water gun feel play dough is great or tape some weather stripping inside of stock it dampens the cheap sound of stock pretty good

    Things I liked:

The Reign in .22 cal is one of the best fitting bull pups I have run across in quite a few years every thing just fits

    Things I would have changed:

For the price it looks like an extra mag would be automatic. The fact that the barrel is not shrouded and one plus is the quick disconnect fitting on the fill probe is a plus Now for the plastic water gun feel I used weather stripping pull the two halves apart and stick this padding Inside there are numerous spots to stick the tape works for me you might have something else that works fo you

    What others should know:

Ok p/a great little rifle it shoulders like a full size gun(But) I am clueless now when you read the specs and descriptions on this pcp you expect to get what you read and most of all for the price you should be able to buy one and get half off on the next one oh well Basically why even waste the space used for specs and descriptions they are inaccurate.

    Things I liked:

THE GUN IS LIGHT WEIGHT AND VERY POWERFUL. IT SHOOTS MY 14.3GR. CROSSMAN PREMIERS AT 950FPS AT 200BAR. I BOUGHT THE .22CAL AND AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WAY IT PUTS SQUIRRELS TO SLEEP. I FILL MINE WITH MY SCUBA TANK SET AT 3000 PSI AND I GET ABOUT 3O SHOTS BEFORE IT GETS UNDER 150BAR. FILLING IT IS QUITE SIMPLE AND FAST. AT 25YDS. I GET SUB .5 MOA GROUPS AND AT 50YDS. ITS UNDER .75 MOA.

    Things I would have changed:

I WISH THE MODERATOR WAS REMOVABLE SO THAT I COULD INSTALL ONE FROM DONNYFL.COM. THEY ARE QUIET AND VERY WELL MADE. IT WOULD ALSO BE NICE IF IT CAME IN DIFFERENT COLORS. I AM PAINTING MINE A TAN AND OLIVE CAMO SINCE I WILL ONLY BE USING IT FOR SPOT AND STALK HUNTING. THE PRICE IS QUITE HIGH FOR AN ALL PLASTIC AND METAL GUN WITH NO PRICEY WOOD, BLUING OR HAND FITTING.

    What others should know:

I HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT WHAT SLING GOES INTO THE HOLE IN THE BUTTSTOCK. THIS IS A GREAT HUNTING GUN. IF YOU WANT A BENCH REST SHOOTER AND TARGET GUN, GET SOMETHING ELSE. THE SCOPE TO BORE HEIGHT IS JUST TOO TALL FOR IT TO QUALIFY AS A GOOD MATCH GUN.

    Things I liked:

The air system, the BARREL! PERFECT for anyone who loves tinkering or modifying. The pneumatic system in this pellet rifle is the change we've all been waiting for. ASA 20 (CGA 320) fittings open up a tremendous availability to customize this rifle. MANY pneumatic air storage components used in paintball will work here. Its about damn time too. The internals of the Reign use identical design and fittings as the FX Impact air system. NO MORE TUBE guns, nor $2000 guns. The bottle in the front can easily be swapped out for any paintball bottle using ASA 20, lighter (carbon fiber), larger air tanks. How about remoting the air supply altogether? yeah, u w/ me now? Plus, paintball has perfected air regulation. There are better regulators out there. The Reign makes swapping regulators as easy as unscrewing the air tank. I've been waiting for this gun for 2 years. thanku... T virus

    Things I would have changed:

Provide access to trigger adj/air bottle without needing to split the gun in half (15 screws to make an adjustment?...really?). Yes we all overcame the trigger adjustments by only removing the butt pad, however you'll only want to use BALL end hex keys, or risk rounding out the small adjustment screws. metal trigger (stock trigger is not at all bad once adjusted. I just like metal). Give us adjustable regulators and bolt springs (haven't broke the Reign down yet, or seen anything on this yet) Just in case. Make the silencer removable, please (I know that won't come off).

    What others should know:

I put mine on a remote air system feed, man I love it. Mine shot within 1 moa, @ 50 yd, 3 holes covered by a quarter, (25 cents), from a bench, gun in a vise, using: H&N Barracuda, 31g, .25 cal. The barrel on this thing is not only a legendary Walther, arguably among the best, but it's a beast. Unshrouded makes it look smaller, but it is a heavy piece of metal. it is thick walled compared to others. It is easily the heaviest component on the gun. Heavy barrel, Walther refiling, yeah, it shoots great! The funkey silencer they have on it works fine for me. It is no louder to me than my .25 cal. Marauder Obviously, this was not designed as a marksman bench rifle. It IS a marksman bush gun. It is made for draggen around in the woods hunting. I shot for several hrs, crawlen thru the woods, and the whole package works great. no tangles or control malfunctions. it works.

    Things I liked:

Somewhat obviously, I like the look. The cocking mechanism is smooth and easy to work. You can feel the pellet enter the barrel, but it's a smooth process with no hard or gritty areas in the movement. It shoulders well, easy to hold to acquire the target, (I shoot offhand only). The air filling, a simple and easy task where the fill port placement is located. I made the cocking handle swap to the left side. Being a right handed shooter, I feel it's better to leave your trigger hand in place while cocking the gun with the hand doing less work. While the gun is a little nose heavy, it's of no real bother while aiming. Easy to hold on target Trigger pull is clean and smooth, nice wall and let-off, once one simple fix is done. The pellet loading in the magazine is simple and straight forward, no funny business. Loading the magazine into the gun is also a simple task (from either side). No forcing, or wiggling like in some guns. Removal is the same, easy. It fits the gun well.

    Things I would have changed:

Looks wise. About the only thing that I would change..."back"...is to put the barrel shroud back on. In early photos, the gun had a full shroud of normal airgun diameter, and it looked much better than with no shroud. The skinny little (actual) barrel, then up to the silencer diameter is pretty abrupt, looks odd. I'd also be happier with the lower accessory rail to be a bolt on item, rather than cast into the stock. I know that it's cheaper the way that it is, but... Mechanically, the only thing I change (I did) is the trigger spring... It's a mini garage door spring. Not only is there no need for the spring to be that heavy, it also takes away from target acquisition and squeezing the trigger while offhanded shooting. A short ballpoint pen spring is a blessing. Otherwise, mechanically it's a simple gun, I see it going a long time with little maintenance other than an occasional barrel clean.
