As a new comer to crossbows I did a fair amount of homework for my first crossbow. I use to use a compound bow when I was much younger just for archery and I loved it. Flash forward many decades I was going to get a compound bow but for some reason I became interested in trying my hand in a crossbow but was little shy on using it! After much search I settled on Ten Point based on reviews and a host of safety features that made sense to me. With that out of the way, it was a struggle to see which one, since it was my first I wanted to go more beginner friendly. I decided on the Invader 400 for that reason but still seemed like a bow I can use even as I get better.
A month with it and I shoot about 1-2/weeks at the range with it. I have to say I love it. It feels so solid and the accuracy is just amazing once you are dialed it. Getting it and setting it up was a cinch with the utube videos and love all the things it came with like quiver, arrows, etc. The first time I used it I was so nervous mostly didn't want to lose a finger...180lb draw weight is no joke!
One thing I also wanted to mention was the awesome customer service which I heard alot about. So a week or two with it I noticed a small flick or something in the lens. It was tiny but with my OCD it was so bothersome. So I called them and right away they said no issue to take care. Less then a week later I got a new scope!
Overall, if you want a solid forward draw crossbow, this is no doubt an amazing xbow for the money. My one two complaints is there seems to be some mild paint scuffing on the top which may be due to the clearance. I do oil it a good amount so maybe a common thing but doesn't take away from this bow. I am looking forward to my first turkey hunt this spring. The other is the ACUDRAW which is 100 extra which is basically a crank system. Works wonderfully but it does make that clicking noise when you crank. One could disable the catch to crank it without noise but DO NOT do this as it is super dangerous if the crank slips and it spins out of control. I do have two handheld draw strings from Ten Point (sled and the other with the hooks) that I use as well, it is great I can draw the string 3 different ways as backups.

Great crossbow. Accurate, dependable, low maintenance, and deadly on deer. I had another brand and was extremely disappointed. This one is great. Don’t know why you need to spend more.

This is my first crossbow due to a shoulder injury! I tried several different makes and models. I shot the Invader 400 and knew this was the crossbow for me! Great quality and a well designed product! Very easy to use and quite quiet when I shoot!

It's a very powerful crossbow and accurate at least unti 40 yards. The bolts it comes with are a little light for my liking but other then that it's a great crossbow.

Great fast safe bow. Would spend the xtra to get the crank.

Purchased this as a second crossbow to my Ten Point Turbo XL. For the money with the waranty you get and it's profomance makes this a great buy. Only issue I had was the included scope. On my Ten Point, the 1st crosshair sighted in for 20 yards, then every crosshair lined up and was dead on 20, 30, 40 yards. When I sighted in for 20, the next crosshair was more around 34 yards, and so on. Just shoot and know your bow before hitting the woods.

That it has bang for the buck It would be nice if you could mount quiver front to back

Very accurate and well constructed. Light weight and quiet. Speed is outstanding.
Good value for the features.

Very nice cross bow in a good price range. Easy to sight in and good balance to the bow whether shooting on a rest or free hand.

Not the quality I was hoping from a product made by Ten point. Very Loud! Feels of low quality, had to replace factory scope it was so cheap and accuracy was less than expected. It is compact, fast, and has the draw crank I guess would be the 3 pluses.

Purchased Invader 400 last fall. After only 15 practice shots camo finish on top rail started to wear off. Returned bow to dealer for inspection and it was replaced with another new one. Have had no problem with replacement bow. Love the cocking system with crank but it is extremely noisy while turning crank. Make sure to cock before walking into hunting blind or stand. otherwise works as advertised and is very accurate.

This is an excellent bow for anyone wanting great performance in a package deal that won’t break the bank . Tweaked the scope in and was shooting 3” groups out to 60 yards. Shot a nice buck at 52 yards in Kansas this year . Could use a little more in damping/ quietness and a higher end scope but you’ll have to spend the extra money . Probably the best value on the market .

Great crossbow. Powerful, accurate, and lightweight at the same time. My only tiny complaint is I wish the grip underneath was open so I can put my whole hand to hold the bow steady but I can live with it.

Great bow for the money, fast, not too wide, accurate, and overall great quality!

Very nice rig for the value. Ive never shot a crossbow before and it was very easy to set up and dial in.

Easy to shoot, pretty accurate right out of the box. Nice crossbow for the price.

This bow is hands down tbe best bang for your buck, the only issue I have is that it comes with aluminum bolts and its a fixed scope so when upgrading the bolts you have to match up the weights but that not really that big of a deal. If this is in your price range I wouldnt hesitate to pick one up.

Fast ...Tack driving machine...Top of the line crossbow.

This crossbow is very fast and very accurate.
Would definitely recommend.
