    Things I liked:

    power, accuracy, rate of fire.

    Things I would have changed:

combine the c02 mag with the ammo mag and have it be one unit that is removable

    What others should know:

the right rounds will make this gun fit for small game. i suggest a medium weight hollow point, or cylindrical pellet to compensate for the fps.

    Things I would have changed:

have a m1 garand kit so m1 garand lovers such as myself can be happy, plastic barrel and stock.

    What others should know:

it takes more weight to pull the trigger than the whole gun weighs

    Things I liked:

Yes, it is lighter than an M14. Yes, it's stock has a very plastic look. Yes, the barrel shroud for this price should be metal. All that said, what you have here is a BB/pellet gun that is a barrel of fun to shoot. At 10 meters or so, it is very accurate and a super plinker to keep pesky soda cans at bay. The traditional M14 sights are reproduced here and are near perfect for sharpening your iron sight technique. I for one enjoy the challenge iron sights only give to shooting though I have no intention of throwing away my scopes. The shot count is acceptable and the use of CO2 can be extended with a rest between shots though this is hard to do when your having this much fun. The trigger pull is very close to the real thing if memory serves me right and lets be honest, the M14 just looks cool. The fact that you have to charge the rifle for the first shot with the bolt is neat. Also, I think this is a real semi-auto action with the mag advanced at each shot by the action not by the trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see more metal but one just has to be careful in bouncing this gun around. Higher capacity mags would be nice and the mags are somewhat flimsy but they are also cheap. I have not had one fail me yet though. A little more weight but that can be done if you want it. The light weight makes for a somewhat shaky platform but you can shoot this gun all day without fatigue. The mags are sometimes difficult to seat all the way. Do not shoot unless you hear and feel the final click while seating the mag. I have 3 mags and 2 of them have this problem. They all work, you just have to take some time. Its a bit pricey.

    What others should know:

I have tried 8 different pellets and suprise, the most consistent results have come from Chinese wadcutters. The accuracy is very good and the pellet demension keeps the pellet in the mags. As with all rotary mags. take the time to seat the pellets fully and rotate the mag a turn or two to make sure the chambers rotate freely. Beyond this and the mag seating I have found no major issues with this rifle and has already given me hours of fun and relaxation. The service from Pyramid was once again, first class. Buy extra mags, they are reasonably priced and you are going to shoot this gun a lot.

    What others should know:

i set up a indoor shooting range a few years ago {some of the winters in S.W.PA are rough} . i do shot a lot to keep my old eye up . having one of the real thing , when i saw this one i had to buy it . WITHOUT QUESTION THIS IS ONE V E R Y ACCURATE RIFLE with sub dime size groups at 15 yards. it does like lighter pistol pellets such as MEISTERKUGELN 7.0 gr. IT DOES TAKE 2 CO2 CARTRAGES , BUT YOU DO GET A LOT OF SHOTS OUT OF THEM . T I P : if you put the small wrenches you use to puncture the co2 in the vacant co2 spot insert that into the rifle YOU WILL NEVER LOOSE THEM ! as always PYRAMYD AIR seems to get the order to my house as soon as i hang up the phone ! !

    Things I liked:

Just got the M14 CO2 rifle in today, and read the directions, and brought it down stair to put some rounds into the pellet trap. So these are quick initial impressions... Nice sights, very close to the real thing, but not perfect.. adjustments on rear sights are good. Works 90% like the real thing. The "Magazine" insert that holds CO2 carts and pelt clip (OEM calls it a magazine), looks cheap, but does feel solid, as does the "magazine" built into the Rifle that accepts the CO2 cart insert. Replacement Clips/Magazines are nicely priced at 7bux each... $5 would be better, but $7 is NICE. Includes an Extra tool for tightening/seating CO2 carts (includes 2, one to put away in case you loose one.. and the one you use stores conveniently in "magazine" CO2 carts inserts). Trigger is pretty good, but not great. but good enough for such a plastic pellet rifle. Light, and well balanced. The real thing is heavy, so for a fun day of plinking, I don't mind the lighter weight.

    Things I would have changed:

This really seems to be an accurate pellet rifle. At 50ft off hand (no sling) I was about 1", and about 2" with just firing away. I haven't put it in a bench rest yet. But I think the sights could be improved, smaller rear aperture and thinner front blade. I don't get the same sight picture as I do with my M14 and Garands (real ones) with the same cheek weld. I haven't checked length of the butt stock, but maybe that's it. The cheek weld and mounting feels about the same, but for the weight.

    What others should know:

If your gonna shoot it a lot, seems the holes in the clip for the pellets will wear. There's 3 ridges that hold the pellet into place. I can see these wearing. So buy extra clips (technically it's a clip, but called a magazine by the manufacturer)(clips are non spring driven devices that all they do is contain the ammo and that's it (when the clip and ammo are assembled together, it's than called an "enbloc" ala the M1 Garand. Magazines are self contain assemblies that contain the ammo AND have a spring which drives the ammo up and out of the magazine, ala the M14/M1A and such). Gotta order myself some clips. The rifle has the 1.25" sling swivels, been thinking of trying to put a sling on it. But not sure the plastic stock could really hold up to tightly slinging up properly. I wouldn't want to crack it.. guess I wont try. Fun enough as it is. Side by side to my real M14, stock length, and all is really right there... sooo close to the real thing. Sights, yup, the front sight is the main difference. Wings are thicker and short on the CO2 rifle. Blade is much shorter and wwwiiddeer on the CO2 rifle. So gives me a much different sight picture, but still works, just have to get used to it.

    Things I liked:

Great replica; not as heavy as the real thing, thank goodness; consistent 1" groups with Crosman 7.9 gr. hollow point pellets at 30 ft. (Have not tried BBs.)

    Things I would have changed:

Groups are all 1" low, even with rear sight adjusted for max elevation. No info in the ops manual about adjusting the rear sight, but that's not rocket science.

    What others should know:

One end of the dual-ended clip that was shipped with the rifle did not click into place, despite hard pressure. Pyramyd sent another clip, but it has the same problem. But now I Have 2 one-ended clips, which is OK BY me. I'm going to fiddle with the rear sight, and if I can't bring the impact point up, I will try a lighter pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

stock is made with cheap plastice . reminds you of a toy , not a fire arm . could use mor weight !

    What others should know:

i have shot many co2 powered gund and this rifle is EXTREMELY ACCURATE YOU WILL BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND ONE MORE ACCURATE FOR UND $500.00 QUICK TIP : the little wrenches they provide for tightning the c02 can be stored in empty space when the is no co2 in it and with that apperatus locked into the rifle you will not lose it !

    Things I liked:

I purchased this from Pyramyd over the 4th of July sale. I order it on the fourth, and I had it by the 7th so nice quick service. I love it so far. yes, it is plasticky, as others have said. But, it I have found it to shoot very nice. Like others, I get about80 to 100 shots per charge, although it is very warm right now. Also, for whatever reason, one end of the double end mag wouldn't seat properly without some fiddling and messing with the mag release. I emailed Winchester/Daisy and they shipped me a new mag free of charge on my say so. I carried an M14 for a little while in the service (long story, no I am not that old, most of my time was with the M16). This is a pretty close copy and feels great. When you shoulder it, it points naturally and you look right down the sights. The sights adjust for windage and elevation, exactly like the real one. Some have complained about the lack of scope mounting, but while I haven't tried it yet, I might try a mount from Leapers. The real M14 scope mounts mount to a tapped hole on the left side of the reciever and to the dovetail in front of the rear sight, both of which appear to be on this copy. When I get ambitious, I will try seeing if a mount will match up. Also, somewhere someone mentioned JB welding a mount or rail to the handguard. I suspect that you could easily screw a rail to it as it you can remove it by taking off a couple of screws.

    Things I would have changed:

Surplus GI stocks can be ordered cheap at times and I bet one could be inletted to fit this action. The scope mount situation is something I would change. If a typical mount will fit, they could mention it in the instructions. Also, I would like a larger magazine, but really, since I play "sniper" with it, I don't really need more rounds. It just feels wrong.

    What others should know:

Overall a good rifle for me. It is powerful compared to most CO2 so make sure your trap or backstop is solid. I learned the hard way, luckily my garage walls are repaintable. Also, you can order more mags from winchester for a reasonable 7.95 each. Lots of fun, accurate, good enough for vermin at short range. All I want to know is when is the AR15 coming out?

    Things I liked:

I love the look and how easy it is to set up & fire. I love the distance of 700 fps so that was the winning factor on my purchase of this gun. It's very accurate and simple to use & go's great with 9.7 or higher- hollow point pellets but it works great with BB's as well... good gun

    Things I would have changed:

Made it heaver. Made the stock a little (or allot) less plastic? yeah- they need to work on the stock and add some heft

    What others should know:

Light Rifle- but it's a great gun for the power at 700 frs- plastic mainly all around- but that can be excused by the power. It's worth is....

    Things I liked:

Very nice replica of the M14. If you are a fan of first person shooter games you will enjoy this rifle very much. I got 80 shots @ a temperature of 87.8 degrees F (31 Celcius). The sights are very challenging but once you get used to the system you will not want to stop shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine clip should be a belt instead of a round drum of 8 shots times 2. You run out of pellets too soon and have to rotate the clip. Too much plastic for the price.

    What others should know:

It is a plinking rifle, nothing else but very fun to shoot. I consider the rifle to be very accurate. I don't get great groups but I am shooting at 22 yds standing. To my appreciation that is very accurate considering that the trigger pull is a little bit heavy.

    Things I liked:

I really liked the reversible clip. It also looks really close to the M14 I carried in VietNam. Accuracy is excellent with the 9.8 gr pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

It feels flimsy because it's so light. A little more heft would feel and hold sight better.

    What others should know:

It uses 2 CO2 cartridges at a time. Aids in velocity and therefore, range. But it also costs slightly more to shoot. Not enough that I won't shoot the bejeebers out of it. Really a fun plinker.

For what it was designed to do it works! Accuracy is very good providing you use match pellets. Very fun backyard rifle....I would recommend.

    Things I would have changed:

It's a lightweight! Lots of plastic. Would be willing to pay more for a full metal outer barrel.

    What others should know:

It's a fun air rifle to add to anyones collection.

    Things I liked:

Accurate; and great to have an airgun the size of a real battle rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Be prepared: this thing is Pure Plastic.... it feels much more "plastic" than any of the other 10 air rifles I own that are also largely plastic. I would put some sort of additional weight in the butt stock and in the forearm - it is just almost silly light weight. I would love some ideas from people on how to put some weight inside ... can the stock be removed from the the barrel/receiver group to allow for inserting some weight??

    What others should know:

The tiny round "clips" have several failings: First, they are cheaply made and NOT ROBUST! Second, they do not hold pellets well: take care in loading or your pellets will fall out - or, worse yet, get jammed inside the gun. It takes some practice to insert pellets far enough in to get the necessary friction fit.I found I could safely use only Flat-headed pellets .. you must be careful that in seating a pellet in the "clip" you do NOT to allow the head to project above the flat face of the clip (muzzle side.) Flat nose pellets do this best. I got almost 100 shots out of the two CO2 cartridges... on a warm day, firing fairly slowly.

    M-14 styling.Semi-auto.Accuracy.Removable dual Co2 clip.#of shots (approx 65 Vs 35 with the Crosman 1077)16 Rnd. 8'n8 clip.Light weight.Functional charging bolt. Wind/elev adjustable rear sight.Sling mounts.

    Things I would have changed:

Use metal for barrel shroud, front sight and "flash supressor" Offer with wood stock or at least black/camo options.Lower price.. It's more than twice the price of a Crosman 1077($60 Vs $150) for similar performance.

    What others should know:

Too much plastic makes this gun look and feel like a cheap airsoft springer...but don't let that fool you. This is a thoughtfully designed, accurate light weight, all day plinker/ target gun delivering dime sized groups @ 10M's W/ plenty of FPS for 'pest control' Dual Co2 clip is totaly concealed in the faux ammo clip and can be removed while charged for safety's sake. It ejects in two stages so it doesn't just drop out and hit the ground.A spare piercing hex key is provided. 8'N 8 reversable stick mag works just like the one in the Beretta PX-4 Storm. Push it into the faux ammo clip gently and feel the click to lock it in place or elce it will stay concealed but no shot will fire. This gun can be scoped with a Weaver/Picatinny rail(part UTG 314 Sniper Handguard Rail...,$10 here @ Pyramid)a dab of J&B Weld and a little imagination.Take it into the woods on a hot, muggy day along with a Umarex Colt 1911 and you could almost smell the Naplam.

    Things I liked:

got it today. its a LOT of plastic. i like the styling. i used a M14 in the army and this is a nice replica. it shoots very accurate at 20 yds. quarter size group or smaller. although you can shoot bb's in it, i will only be shooting lead pellets as the steel bb's would not be good for the rifling. i hope there is a M1 garand in the works. i was able to shoot 64 rounds before power started to drop off. (70 degree day today)

    Things I would have changed:

i would have been willing to pay 50 dollars more for a wood stock and blow back action.

    What others should know:

if you like shooting the crosman 1077, you will like this one a little more. as always buy a couple of extra magazine sticks when available. this is not a hunting rifle just a fun plinker.
