Total devastation on critters!!!!!

The one that cycled though my gauntlet were had a very nice group at 30 yards. They fit in the magazine.

The diameter wasn't very uniform some would get jammed in the chamber and not shoot.

These may cause a problem in the 22 gauntlet. I tried 25 of these and 10 of those got stuck in the chamber. I had to knock them out with a ram rod. I got an average of 712 fps from my factory gauntlet. They are difficult to chamber due to the slightly over sized diameter. I believe that h&n has an offering with a slightly smaller diameter that may work better in the gauntlet barrel. I would not buy these again for this rifle though I want 100 percent reliability in the field. I do hate that i couldn't test them further.

These slugs or at least the ones that I received lack quality control. Hollow points on all of mine were not in center. Couldn't get good groups. Go with nsa or h&n slugs.

This slugs are precision sized and weight, and the hollow shape shoots accurately through standard FX SmoothTwistX pellet barrels. The slugs are extremely smooth and coated, making them a bit slippery to handle, but perfect to shoot. The tray with individual cavities protects the rather fragile hollow slugs before use. Load over a soft surface, as dropping on the floor will distort the slugs and reduce accuracy. The weight is the most the FX Dreamline can handle, so with the high expansion that the hollow slugs provide, and the high ballistic coefficient of the slug shape, mean maximum speed retention, minimum wind drift, and maximum killing power. Of most value at distances over 50 yards, but for tough game at closer quarters the weight and expansion will still make these the best choice.

Since these can be shot well from the standard pellet-liner, unlike solid slugs, which need a faster spin rate to stabilize, you can carry magazines of 18 grain JBS pellets, or the new expanding Hades 15 grain JBS, at a third the price of these slugs, and a mag of slugs, allowing you to choose by game or distance, cutting the cost from using these exclusively, since the price is the only real negative about these slugs, unless the extra distance strays will travel is an issue for you.

Learning the lower holdover of these slugs and reduced (less than half!) windage adjustment, will allow changing between these slugs and pellets on the fly, for maximum convenience and lowest cost.

Very uniformly made. Great packaging. Super accurate. No slug sleeve necessary.

Use a biodegradable packaging inside box. The plastic tray is nice but not to our environment.

Seems to be great design and shoots well in all my guns.The knock down power for a small projectile is amazing. FX in there design has done it again great job fx

The price I think that could come down a bit.

You dont need a super powerful Airgun to get good performance.

Great hunting pellets great expansion. I shoot them out of my hatsan flash 850fps. Have no problem taking out birds 75 80 yards.

If you are a hunter you have to try these pellets. My hatsan flash is pushing the 850fps. Half inch groups at 50 yards. They are devasting on critters.

These slugs work equally well out of choked barrels as they do slug barrels. For those wondering if they will fit my rifles magazine, that answer is more than likely a resounding yes. If you can shoot Barracuda 21.14s then you can shoot these as they come in at .322 inches long. Which is shorter than the barracudas at .341

Offer more weights starting at 19 going to 25 grn or so.

Expansion, these things open and open fast and wide.

That they exist

I would encourage ALL pellet manufacturers to pleeeeease start making slugs that work in both Evanix and Hatsan magazines - whichever is narrower - in more varied weights, in .30, .35, and .45. calibers. Please, we beg you.
