These slugs are dynamite; much faster, sleeker and more stopping power
Things I would have changed:Nothing.
What others should know:They cost more but are way better in my guns

This product is well packaged and seems to be very high quality. The slugs are very consistent. The expansion is great and it doesn't penetrate wood backstops very far which is what I was looking for.
Things I would have changed:The don't shoot consistently at 50 yards from my SK19. It's not designed for slugs but I was hoping for a hunting slug and I can't hit anything with these slugs. At 50 yards the gun seems to be very accurate with King Heavy pellets.
What others should know:They don't seem to shoot strait from my SK19. If you don't have the FX slug barrel I'd probably stick with a polymag for hunting.

They seemed well made.
Things I would have changed:Make them fit my Sumatra 2500.
What others should know:I bought a couple of packs & when I got to the range & tried to load them they fell completely through the cylinder magazine. I shot them after carefully loading the 6 shot cylinder & they went all over the place. I don't believe they even caught the rifling of the barrel. Maybe if they were a little larger I'd have different results.

They look nice
Things I would have changed:Useless in my Hatsan
What others should know:Shot these from my Hatsan Galatian and they were all over the place. About a 6 inch group at 20 yards. Maybe work good in another air rifle.

The FX slug surprisingly hit exactly in the same spot as my Benjamin 25 cal hunting pellets for my Marauder , expansion is very good ! The packaging is excellent and protects each pellet , keep these plastic trays, they will come in handy !
Things I would have changed:Due to the long skirt it takes more effort to chamber the pellet into the breach , the Price of the FX pellets is high , I look forward to testing JBSs new pellet , maybe a little competition will bring prices down , you can get 22 long rifle rimfire cheaper !
What others should know:Have only shot these out to 25 yards, will get back to long range accuracy comparison at a later date !

packed very well......they do expand very well...even at 888fps muzzle speed.....25 fx streamline smooth twist...crazy accurate!!! deadly on ground hogs
Things I would have changed:well... the price kinda $$$
What others should know:some of them get stuck in the breech not sure why if someone knows let me know....im shooting them in .25 fx streamline smooth twist [older barrel}....cant really say much about size/shape distribution....maybe i should not shoot them in my gun or i got a bad pack not sure

Nice packaging, slugs are formed consistently and with that big hollow point should perform well on game.
Things I would have changed:Heavier weights and different diameters to try
What others should know:Using a stock Hatsan Bullboss .25 at 190 bar, 9 shot groups at 30 yards a nickel covers 8 completely and 1 flyer just out. At 45 yards a nickel covers nearly 8 with 1 or 2 straying. For comparison king heavy mk2 make a ragged hole at 45 yds easily covered with a dime with an occasional flyer to make nickel sized groups. At 80 yds all 9 stay on a steel 2 inch plate similar to pellets But with a lot less drop.

Sot them out of my FX Impact at 935 fps at the muzzle. They do expand on varmints when launched at that velocity, causing damage similar to that of .22 LR HP bullets. They are also quite accurate in the FX STX Superior liner. Not JSB Exact King accuracy, but close enough. They shoot more flatly than domed pellets at the same velocity and as stated, do significantly more damage.
Things I would have changed:They are quite dirty. Expect to see lots of lead shavings everywhere as the result of the manufacturing process. Cost is high. They are expensive compared to traditional domed pellets, almost twice the cost, similar to .22 WMR ammo. If you are hunting at extended range, or are shooting larger varmints up to and including raccoons and or coyotes, they may be worth the expense.
What others should know:I assume if you are considering these it is because you plan to hunt with them. They need to be pushed to higher velocities to get expansion. I don't know the lower velocity limit at which they will not expand, but I do know they do not expand on small varmints at 750 fps or less in the .22 version. I suspect the lower limit is somewhere between 800 and 850 fps. If your .25 cal airgun won't push a 26 gr pellet at least that fast, don't expect these to perform better. In my gun, a 26 gr pellets will start at 950 fps; these slugs are 15 fps slower and yet perform impressively. Think Predator Polymags, but better out past 50 yds. The higher BC of the slugs is supposed to be an advantage at longer ranges if you can start them fast enough. Lastly, these aren't backyard projectiles in the .25! Launched at 935 fps they are packing 50 FPE. Expect richochets and pass-throughs that could be dangerous, obviously.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet so my review is strictly on how Pyramyd Air has the best packaging for pellets/hybrids.
Things I would have changed:Nothing, shipping was even quick considering Covid-19 had a lot of places shut down.

Shooting these out of a Marauder with outstanding results. Sniping ground squirrels at over 100 yards - no problem. A devastating round.
Things I would have changed:Price is a bit steep.
What others should know:Downrange performance is exceptional.
