Our specs show that this rifle has a 19.45" barrel. The shroud is much longer, and the exterior length from the action to the muzzle measures 24". The barrel is only the rifled portion of the gun.

I bought the 25 cal. refurbished one and it looks like a new one. It shoots and functions well but i have not mounted a scope so i do not know how accurate it will be.
Things I Would Have ChangedDo not like the position of the safety on the trigger and it does not reset when you cock it. A gun that costs this much should come with at least 2 mags. not one. Have never seen a fill mechanism like they use. It may work great but i have not use it so far because gun came full of air.
S510 is very accurate and really for professional use (Hunters) I have recommended this type of Air rifle To all of my friends. And thank you for the AirArm
AA quality matches that of my Daystate rifles. Acuracy is superb. Shooting .25 inch groups out to 50 yards all day long. I am getting over 60 real world shots that can actually be used for hunting. Pushing the gun I can get 80 but they will drop dramatically
Things I Would Have ChangedThe SAFETY...come on guys; on the trigger?? I would take a little of the first stage trigger but I'm being picky...
What Others Should KnowGuns shoots .25 inch holes all day out to 50+ Yards. Loves the JSB 18.1 grain and premiers 14.3. Have mine shooting 30 ft lbs with the 18.1. It is heavier than My S510 in 25 cal. and it is front heavy so keep that in mind. If you want accuracy wihtout paying for a Theoben, Daystate, or FX then AA is the way to go. I promise any AA gun will outshoot you!!
The accuracy is amazing from 20 yards to 125 yards. The rifle shoulders extremely well and the adjustable power for tuning to different pellet weights is a nice feature. For a rifle of this size, it is light weight and balanced.
Things I Would Have ChangedAdd swivel studs at the factory
What Others Should KnowGet a drooper mount or use adjustable rings if you use high scope mounts. The rifle has mass to it, the air tubes are huge however it is lighter and easier to shoulder than my Career 707 and more comfortable to shoot than my Air Force Condor.

Fit and Finish, rotary mag, threaded barrel, very nice adjustable trigger. Shrouded barrel tames down what would be a very loud rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedChange dovetail to picatinny rail
What Others Should KnowHolds air for ever. After shooting, left at 150ish bar for 6 months to a year, no leaks. Mine gets 70 good shots with no POI change on 6/8th power. Added a Hawke 8-32x56 scope, allows for very good accurate long range shooting. Can easily hit a match stick from 40 or more yards. You may get board with accuracy and 30 yards, pellet on pellet groups, longer ranges are where this rifle really performs. Owning an Air Arms rifle is like having an heirloom or so it will be.
