I’ve bought two of these and one came without the arrow holder and the other fell off after two uses.
Can't adjust draw length or draw weight, but the marketing material suggests you can. It even has a chart on the back suggesting draw length depending on the height of the child?! What's the point, because it isn't adjustable?
Looks like a nice little bow. It actually does have let off, but at my child's DL, there won't be any. I just wish Bear actually made clear in their promotional material that it isn't adjustable from 6-15lb and that the draw length is also not adjustable. It is basically a recurve bow unless your DL is long enough to get to the let off and wall!
I bought this bow for my 4 year old daughter. It sounded like it had an adjustable draw weight and length. It does not they are the “range of draw weight and length” basically this bow is set up for a 14 lb pull and a 24 inch draw length.
My grandson loves his bow and is already practicing. Well made.
My son is 5 and is bigger than most kids, so he should be a good example of the target demographic. The arrows may be shatter resistant, which is good, but the spine is too stiff. The arrows can not leave the arrow rest in a straight line, the vanes hit the rest, and the arrows veer off wherever they please. I am a good archer, and I probably had a 5 foot wide group at 5 yards. This causes a new shooter to quit after 2 shots. This bow would only work with a through riser setup, which other models have.
Why is these not made left handed too? I have a child who wants to shoot so bad but is left handed.
I love this bow, it's everything I hoped and dreamed for.

I was under the impression that the weight & length were adjustable, and as others have mentioned, they are not. I also had to make some homemade modifications on the riser to hold the arrow in place, as the bow did not come with an arrow rest.
My 5 year old struggles considerably to fully draw the bow, as the effective draw weight is about 14lbs. This will probably be a great fit for him at age 6/7, but I will be shopping for another bow to meet his current needs.
