This thing rocks since they changed the handles. One of the reasons I bought a Code 4 originally was because of the thinness vs. the thick AL version at that time. I’m a full time LEO & I still have that C4 and I like it a lot but, the AL works much better for my current assignment in the training division. I use it with wet or dirt covered hands frequently, the G10 is grippy but not abrasive. I also use it to open large wrapped pallets for which this blade is a phenomenal slicer being a flat grind with an upswept edge. Overall a very practical working knife regardless of profession.

What can I say that's not already said - it's tough, razor sharp, perfect size and weight for an EDC. Yeah, should have got this earlier...

Got this last week and it's been my EDC everyday. Razor sharp out of the box and perfect in size and weight.

I have been testing this knife for a month now to do a review on my YouTube channel. I have found this knife to be a very comfortable , strong , sharp and lightweight knife . It is targeted towards law enforcement and civilians and the knife has been a wonderful everyday carry knife and has maintained a razor sharp edge . It also has cold steel's tri ad lock which I have always been a huge fan of . In my opinion this knife is excellent for just about anything you need a knife for , I would say it's a jack of all trades knife. I left a couple photos of it's cutting power cutting through a water bottle like butter

I didn't realize when I bought this knife probably 10 years ago that it would become the last EDC I would buy. It's an absolute workhorse. I chop with it. I pry with it. I even occasionally use it as a hammer. Heck, its even cut up my dinner more than once when i was in the woods. I know that's not how a knife should be treated but it doesn't care. I keep it sharp, oiled, and tight. If I do ever break it I feel like I got my monies worth many times over.

I have had this knife for 6 years and have used it for every imaginable task. Hollow grind makes it slice but it’s built right and not afraid of tough work. AUS8 is a bit softer than I like but makes it super easy to touch up (which it needs frequently) but edge holding is only fair which is why no 5 star. Handle is really good awesome locking mechanism really not much wrong with this tool. Black started coming off so I finished removing it actually think it looks great

I never post reviews but felt this knife has earned it. Originally purchased in 2011, I have carried this knife in my pocket ever day since almost without exception. It sees continuous hard use and has never let me down. Mine is the older model with slightly thicker handle panels. Almost no black finish remains on the blade and the G10 handle edges have all worked to a shine but the blade is just as tight as the day I got it as is the lock. An all around fantastic knife I plan to continue carrying for years to come.

I've been carrying a knife for about 45 years. This is by far the best EDC knife I own. In fact, I own two of them. Just wish they made a version with a smaller blade. Maybe 2-2.5 inches. But not a small handle. For when I go to certain states that limit blade length.
