The Crawford 1 is my new everyday carry. I am puzzled because my blade is marked 4116 stainless. Cold Steel has the Crawford 1 in 4034.
Iv had mine for a few months. HVAC/Electrician, it's definitely a tough knife and really quick to touch up the blade.
Great knife the flipper tab is a little large for my liking but you get used to it awsome knife. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice knife
Misspelled the engraving, and not too important but the opening is slow.
I am very satisfied with this knife for what it is worth. Great thumb and finger holds, and the lock switch is a really nice feature as well. I carry it every day.

This knife is exactly as advertised. Very nice and at a very reasonable price.
40+ years ago, a friend had trouble sharpening a knife, and asked me to help. I learned two things: Cold Steel knives have “tough” blades, hold their edges for a long time, and are difficult to sharpen using a whetstone. I was successful in the sharpening, and now I’m curious how long this Crawford 1 will hold an edge!
I bought this one three weeks ago, and am completely satisfied with it. I did have one slight “difficulty” in that the locking slide was sticking, but I took the knife apart and filed the edge of the spring steel locking mechanism. Now it works like a charm! No need for the company to send a replacement.
I really appreciate the finger guards (especially because of the sharpness of the blades) and the one works very well for quick opening.
Finally, I do believe Cold Steel knives are more affordable than they were in the 70’s!
It is everything I wanted. Bang for buck et al. But it is also the first CS knife that would not fling hairs out of the box. It had an adequate work edge but only just. Even my Gunsite stainless was sharper when I got it.

I bought this knife January of 2024 and have carried it on me day and night since. I love this blade! It is very comfortable in the hand and in the pocket. Very light weight and I appreciate the edge retention. The size is ideal for an EDC in my opinion. I recommend this knife to anyone who askes me!
