The Leatherneck Bowie has a wide bowie styled blade made from German D2 steel, and is 10 inches long. Like the others in the Leatherneck series, it has a non-reflective black finish. It features a distinctive blood groove along most of its length, and of course it comes hair shaving sharp! The Kray-Ex handle is based on our other Leathernecks standard design but it is enhanced with a longer guard and forward curving quillons. It comes complete with a Secure-Ex sheath. Larger than expected, still amazing knife. Solid build and good steel choice. Would be great for current or retired military.
I just bought this knife from Midway and after the already low price and discounts I paid well under $100 for this beautiful large Bowie knife.Fit and finish are spot on , factory edge is very sharp ,grips are very grippy,this massive knife is a great overall value especially from a reputable company like Cold Steel,I bought this as a usable companion to my Fallkniven Northern Lights 10,which is my new favorite,this Cold Steel Bowie is remarkably quick in hand for a blade almost a foot long! I own other comparable knives like the Esee Junglass,BK 9 Etc,but they are much more expensive, I'd feel absolutely comfortable with this as a survival or defensive weapon,able to act as a machete and a chopper ,or any other uses it might be needed for , HIGHLY RECOMMEND the knife and Midway for making it affordable to me

Great looking blade. Very stout and beefy. It was a gift and was very well received. My oldest son told me I won Christmas this year. Plus it’s a cold steel blade and I know if he ever had to depends on it in the woods it will deliver.
