I received my Recon 1 Mini, in good condition. The engraving was well handled. The size is very good, for EDC. I enjoy owning this knife.
Came sharp, stays sharp. Have not had it very long so I will see how the edge lasts. It is my daily carry utility knife.
I have been a big cold steel fan for years. However, I first held this model about 6 months ago, and was immediately blown away. Typically I prefer much larger knives, but the ergonomics on this are fantastic even for large hands. I have since purchased several and use one everyday. Only thing to improve this? Please make a G10 and S35vn model(and keep the nested liners)!!
I’ve been a huge fan of the Mini Recon 1 since the first iteration in AUS-8 steel with G-10 handles. I’ve owned every iteration including the short lived CTS-XHP steel model. This is the same Mini Recon 1 in almost every way, and I love it. I carry and use mine regularly. It takes everything I throw at it and keeps asking for more. If I had one request, I’d love to see them offer an upgraded version in G-10 and S35VN alongside this more budget friendly version for those of us willing to pay a little more. I’d certainly buy at least 2 in that configuration.

I'm looking to purchase this knife but would like to see a serrated version of it. I have several full size Recon 1s but am looking for a smaller version.
