Each Mini Tac has thin high-quality textured Griv-Ex handle scales. This feature allows them to lie flat and close against the body while still providing a positive gripping surface. When these scales are combined with integral sub hilt they give the fingers of the hand incredible purchase and facilitate a remarkably secure grip that resists rolling or twisting.

This is another in my collection of Cold Steel products. I am as pleased with the Mini Tac Tanto as I am with any of my other Cold Steel knives. They are in my experience all razor sharp right out of the box. Tougher than most other brands. Shipping is always within a week from the time I place my order till I am using it.
Knife feels great in the hand. Blade has an uneven grind. Can’t slice through paper. Will require sharpening. A little disappointed. Was hoping to get a knife that was cold steel shaving sharp out of the box.

I love it! Streamlined, compact, practical, right amount of aggressive, small enough to always be there, big enough to do pretty much any work, especially with a tail-lanyard (which makes it possible to chopp with), you could probably open a coconut with it, I did with an EskoBar and i’ve had an Izula aswell, this is my favourite! Aiming to join a Ninjutsu-dojo where I wanna practice using this and The Spike as shurikens <3 I’d love a version of this in some suitable super-steel with the blade slightly modified/angled for food prepping = Best Blade Ever imo I <3 this Knife!!!
I needed a small and quickly deploy-able blade for my work. Nothing is faster than a fixed blade. The handle is rough and impossible to lose control of. It will not slip out of your hand. The blade is thick. It is also SHARP out of the box as I found out. Steel is easy to sharpen and will hold an edge for a long time. This small knife will turn you away from giant folders because this does it all better. I did put Belt Hooks (w/ Chicago Screws) on the Kydex for belt carry.

I brought this knife not too long ago, can't really complain about the knife itself apart from needing a sharpen, however was disappointed with sheeth, it just feels cheap and wants to fall apart. I was hoping for something a little more quality and atleast a belt clip.
