Made to mimic its big brother in every respect with the exceptions of having substituted the G-10 handle with a Griv-Ex one, and using the more affordable 8Cr13MoV blade steel. It still comes razor sharp and ready for your toughest task or biggest adventure. Inspired by the popular Cold Steel SRK fixed blade, the SR1 offers the same highly functional tactical design in a compact folder. Andrew Demko set out to design a high-end tactical folding knife for military applications. The SR1 embodies his minimalist style with top-quality materials and a no-nonsense practical design.

Great knife. Mega sharp and durable. Pocket clip way too stiff.
Blade is top notch. Nothing, but the best from Coldsteel. The blade is pretty thick and has good length. BUT, my biggest gripe about this is the handle! I know getting the SR1 Lite is going to have it's drawbacks, but the handle feels like super cheap plastic. Im afraid of dropping this thing or hitting the handle on a firm surface due to cracking or snapping easily. Also, I wish the unlocking mechanism wasn't on the back, b/c I would love it if I could fold the knife with one hand instead of using both hands. Im not hsed to using one thumb to press and hold the unlock button and using the other hand to fold the knife.

Nice size, beefy edc folding knife. Far better than almost anything from a big box store. Sharp blade from the box, I will definitely be buying another.
