Our Tactical Series of machetes are inspired by our hugely popular and record breaking Warrior Series of Tantos, Wakizashis and Katanas. Available in 3 sizes, each of these fun and distinctive machetes features a wide, curved Tanto point blade and solid steel tsuba made from 65Mn steel with black anti rust matte finish. Their broad full tangs are injection over-molded with high impact polypropylene, making them incredibly durable and weather resistant. We re-created the look of a traditional cord wrapped handle, Fuchi and Kashira but used modern materials that will not shrink, warp, tarnish or rot and require very little maintenance. Each of these Machetes comes complete with a Cor-Ex sheath for carry and storage.

Overall great product! I was able to cut clean through a bunch of 2-3 inch thick juniper limbs!! Juniper is very similar to cedar trees, and when I say cut CLEAN through....it looked like I sanded the cut edge with 200 grit. I am once again satisfied with Cold Steel!
I've used and abused this blade and it still preforms like i first got it. I take it in ever y few months for a sharpen and its brand new.

I've beat on this thing like a circus monkey and it never faltered and the only sharpening was a lick or two with a stone n then right back at some of the most God awful briers, brambles, bushes, and whatever else I could find and this thing took it in stride!
Sheath isn’t best but you can pick one up that’s better for it. Perfect size for fighting in medium to small spaces. Very strong blade, haven’t had to sharpen once!

It’s a great blade other then having a slight bend to the right starting at the guard but the edge did come sharp, sheath is pretty great. You can get a bit of hand shock if you hit anything with the first 4 inches of blade or so but anything after there’s nothing(also helps if you wrap the handle in leather). Overall it’s worth the money for what you get I don’t see me breaking it any time soon and Ive been kicking the crap out of it. If your on the fence just get it you won’t be disappointed.

I recently purchased both the tactical katana machete and tactical wakizashi machete. The katana has some issues I do not like but the wakizashi is possibly a perfect machete every problem with the katana has been fixed for the wakizashi. The handles fake ray skin is less prominent, much closer to the real thing that the katana version, almost smooth but still raised enough for great grip strength, gloves optional on this one!!! The blade sharp and it holds an edge very well and is easy to sharpen when needed. Well balanced and feel nice in my hand by far the best machete in my collection. The scabbard is the right size, the blade does move side to side it’s a perfect fit, kind of like it was made for it and not just let’s put a hole here. Although they were probably trying to stay historically accurate on the sheath it would do better with a more modern belt loop option.
