The Cold Steel Templar is a specialized throwing tool made for modern sport or competition throwers. Designed by custom bladesmith Dave Baker, the Templar is inspired by an ancient historical throwing axe known as a Hurlbat. Made of one solid piece of tough spring tempered carbon steel, the Templar is fun to throw and easy to use. When it comes to "sticking" potential, it's the next best thing to a shuriken or throwing star, landing with a satisfying "thunk" over and over again! With an axe-style head, top and back spikes and a tapered spiked handle, it hits hard at almost any distance and rotation, and thanks to its head-heavy balance it is capable of being thrown even over extended distances.

Very pleased with this purchase. Fun to throw and tough. I would like to see a double headed version.
The Templar is badass I throw it from 25ft and stick it every time and I don’t know how to throw anything never been good at throwing knives or anything else if you want something cool that will not let you down it’s a must have! I’m buying two more so I have three in my arsenal that’s how much I like it
Sharp,heavy,beautifully crafted and if you cant stick this into a target, its definitely user error, not the fault of the templar thrower.
These throwers are brutal! Good weight, super sharp points, throw beautifully, well worth the money!
The spiked tips stick in hard but the bladed section bounces off. Besides that I love it.

Abused mine. Always lands on my board. Really cool! Haven't broken any of them yet. And I throw them hard! These are wonderful. Been using them since Christmas 2022. 3 months in and they are awesome!
I have had my Cold Steel Templar for several years now and I enjoy it just as much now as when I first received it. I mostly just throw it at cedar trees in my backyard and it sticks in every single throw except for when it hits with the front blade. I’m not sure if that’s because I’m just not throwing it hard enough or if it’s because of the striking area of such a wide blade versus the spike points that make up the other three points of impact. It’s certainly not because it’s not sharp because it’s still nearly razor sharp. Long story short if you enjoy throwing knives, hatchets, stars or any other pointed objects just buy it. You will not be sorry that you did.
It was everything I expected. Cold Steel always delivers a quality product.
