  • Portable .22 & .17 Rimfire Bullet Trap
  • 10 X 11 Target Area
Serious airgunners need a serious trap, and this one's up to it!

While many airgunners use less robust traps, the magnum airguns produced these days are quickly outpacing the ability of those traps to safely and repeatedly stop your shots. Since this trap is built to take hits from rimfire guns, which are more powerful than airguns, you'll have a lot more peace of mind with the Do-All Outdoors Bullet Box downrange.

Things I liked:

The bullet/pellet trap is built strong enuf to handle .22 rimfire. I haven't tested it for .22lr YET, but have shot .177 and .22 pellet guns into it and it traps the pellets. It comes disassembled, and has to be bolted together, with included hardware. This was easy to do. It has some weight to it, but I carry it outside for range practice. It's backyard friendly quiet. It should last a lifetime and will allow me to collect the lead to cast into large bore ammo (.357/9mm). Now I just have to shoot more pellets for more lead to melt down, Yay! Buy one..

Things I would have changed:

Nothing. It does everything it's designed for.

What others should know:

Save ur lead and you can sell the bulk lead to people who cast their own bullets, or to a recycling facility. Or make some fishing sinkers. Lead has value, don't send it to a landfill. I used JB Weld on the gaps in the metal plates to prevent lead fragments from coming out. This bonded the individual plates together, which seemed to make it quieter. I taped cardboard over the face of it to prevent pellets from bouncing back out.

Things I liked:

The size is adequate. Read reviews of welded models that our noisy. Found this model that is bolted together to be quiet.

Things I would have changed:

Fit and finish is a little crude. Maybe lm being a little picky, after all it is a trap.

What others should know:

I use a cardboard backer, and do not have any problems with the targets laying flat, or with ricochets.

  • Charlie from USA asked:

It will take a .22 rimfire, but they warn you to not use steel BB's. Why is that?

    • Charlie from USA answered:

Answering my own question...Never mind, saw the answer below, and the other comment about using a cardboard backer seem like a good solution.

  • William from USA asked:

I have an Airforce Texan 457. Is this strong enough for my rifle? Absolutely not at point blank...

    • larry from USA asked:

what caliber of airgun will it stop?

      • Pyramyd from USA answered:

It's made for rimfires - so realistically, anything below 100-150 FPE should be fine.
