I love that I can wear a warm winter hat with these, still hear the woods but have my hearing protected when I have to take a quick shot on a deer. Short of buying a suppressor for my deer rifle this is the best way to be ready to shoot all day while keeping my awareness and protecting my hearing. By the end of the day I am definitely ready to give my ears a break but I can hunt 12 hours without removing them.
