This rifle felt solid right out of the box. The cocking motion is smooth, and it's easy to aim without a scope. The grip is extremely comfortable. When I bought this rifle, it was the only USA-made break barrel on the market. It's a damn shame it has been discontinued.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe trigger guard. It's completely functional, but it doesn't do justice to the high quality feel of the rest of the gun.
What Others Should KnowAccuracy will suffer for folks who've never shot a spring piston air rifle before, but those accuracy problems are not because the rifle doesn't shoot straight; it just isn't a pump action or pcp and has a reasonable amount of kick.
