SOG SEAL XR - USA Made, Black, Ambidextrous

When I received my package, I was related. I couldn't wait to open it. I already have the Seal Pup. But I can't carry that on me everyday. By law I can't anyways. Therefore I ordered a folder to handle my everyday carry needs. Same as the multi tool. I often find myself looking for the right tool. I can't carry a full tool belt on me for my job. It doesn't call for it. But a mini pocket tool really comes in handy. Especially the key chain multi tool.

Best folding knife ever. Reminds me of the old Tomcat!. Carry it all the time.

I bought this knife after I watched a movie with the main character was trapped behind a wooden door and got through it with a knife. In the next few days I seen this knife and decided to try it. It was just what I was looking for a folding breacher. I was in the Marine Corps and have worked security most of my life I carry this knife every day and love it. I have five SOG knives they have never let me down.

Bought an SOG Seal XR (Sig Sauer limited edition - via the Sig site) in October 2023. Very impressed with the craftsmanship/finish. American made quality knife. Sharp, sturdy, tough, and dependable. My new EDC. Was so impressed with this knife I just purchased an engraved Kiku XR LTE for my daughters birthday (for use at work). Also own an SOG entrenching tool. Good company and quality products at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

I've been wanting to buy this knife for a long time, and now my dream has finally come true. The knife is decent, lies well in the hand, but there are a few things. The first is the bearing. If you shake the knife, you can hear rattling, which is a little annoying, as the knife should be monolithic in design.Second - the knife came without one screw, which fastens the plastic to the liner.This is not terrible in my case.Since I am a collector and user of knives, I found the necessary screw.But I would like to hope for the attention of the manufacturer when sending it to the market.P.S knife was not bought from the direct manufacturer, but through the online store

I purchased 3 of them approx: 1-1/2 - 2 yrs. Ago. One for me.One for My Son.And an extra one for me for the Future. This SOG SEAL " SUUDIES AND OBSERVATIONS GROUP " SEAL XR CPM355VN , Knife is A Heavy-Duty BAD-A _ S KNIFE !!!. For a Real ,No Non-Sense Man / Woman. NOT For Whimps though

Nice solid knife will last a lifetime with proper car. Don’t much care for the way you have to deploy the blade and the many sharp groves on the blade release and the back spine of the handle. Very hard to open at first with the many ways it can be opened, but that will take care of itself overtime and be easier. Opening the knife a few times through out the day starts to hurt your finger due to the some what sharp grooves if your wearing gloves you won’t feel it. Knife is a great working tool when wearing leather work gloves by the way. I carry my knife most days and have gotten use to it and like it very much I would have preferred softer “Knurling”.

Solid, well-made, heavy duty knife; very reasonably priced; would buy it again. Arrived a bit sticky — worked it with some oil and a q-tip to remove a little manufacturing grit and now it flips open with ease and locks solid (as well as my knives costing 10 times more). Really solid and unexpectedly tight tolerances. Love this knife for EDC.

Had to oil, came with inertia. Once I oiled it it became a very useful tool. It's one of my favorites.
