I have tried to use this bullet for deer hunting in Louisiana this year (2024) and have had issues with each shot. I have hit all three deer i have shot at but with low production. The first one was at 210-yardsi got hair fat and meat but no blood trail, found dead 150-yardsfrom where shot a week later with a hole behind the left shoulder in the ribs. The second was at 115-yards i hit, there was no sign of hair or blood, but found the next day 100-yards form where shot. A great shot right at the right shoulder and found blood 5-feet form the body. The third was at 70-yards, and was hit this evening. I watched him get hit fell in his front legs, regained footing and ran off. No hair, or blood trail and have not found as or yet, will look in the moring. Production harvest is one out of three. First and 6 point that could have been mounted but squeals have chewed the horns. Second a great 8 point over 220lds and being mounted. The third was just for meat but was another 6 point.
I have a Savage model 111 in 30.06. I was shooting Federal ballistic silver tips 180gr., then Remington reduced recoil 125gr I was not happy with them. I saw these and decided to give them a try. These grouped around 1.5" at 100yds. For hunting I have thus far shot at 9 deer with them at ranges between 35 and 230 yds. 7 of the deer dropped right where they stood. One deer ran 20 yds. It was a 90 yd shot, quartering towards me. The last, a 35 yd shot on a small doe ran 60 yds and collapsed (probably too close for the bullet to expand before going through). Overall, this was much better performance than I had got from the Federal or Remington. I will be sticking with these for now.
Great product. ballistics hold true in the field. Great knock down power. Dropped this doe at 300 yards in her tracks. The coyote was at 90 yards running to me that morning.

One shot one kill. Dropped my doe at 100 yds on the spot. I used my Palmetto State Armory 300 blackout AR platform with 16 in barrel. This 300blackout 150 grain round is excellent!
Accuracy is great, 5/8" 100yd groups every time. Very good on dear and coyote. Devastating on neck shoots, drops dead instantly. Good size exit hole as well.
Great product. Have used both the .308 and 6.5cm versions and both worked flawlessly.
Never had a deer walk when it's hit. Been used at 50-200 yards. It's a great round
First off the accuracy is amazing, been a long time I’ve seen a factory load hold a group so tight at 200yd zero in a long time. Took the .270win out today and dropped a 8pt dead in his tracks. Was a neck shot, which I felt comfortable taking due to the performance at the range. When cleaning the deer I even more impressed with the wound cavity. Look like a grenade exploded. Definitely a fan of these XP’s now!

Used it this season to great effect. Put one shot at 100 yards right above the shoulder and it dropped a 179lbs fallow deer where it stood.
