Air Arms S510 XS Stealth Carbine PCP Air Rifle

The accuracy of this air rifle is insane! The first time out I transferred an Eotech holographic red dot from my AR to an adapter rail on the rifle, loaded 2 magazines, put a metal plate at 75 yards, and hit the plate 20 out of 20 times at medium power setting. I didn't change a thing on the sight and that tells me the sight and rifle were as level as on the AR-that or I was lucky. I bought the hand pump with the rifle because I didn't want to buy a $500+ made in china compressor. Is pumping fun-NO, but for my needs it's just fine. I had an issue getting the gun to full pressure initially due to an air leak between the pump fitting and rifle but some silicon paste and repositioning of the charging fitting solved the problem.

The fit and finish are that of a fine rifle.The accuracy is outstanding once you figure out what it likes( JSB exact 8.44 4.52 dia).The trigger is great but a little heavy .I love the adj. stock it makes the gun fit perfect.

Quality, beautiful rifle. Over priced, but I bought it anyway. This is going to seem like a small thing, and it kinda is, but when you pay $1500.00 for an air rifle, and it comes in the most terrible package I have ever seen. It was safe for shipping, but a lot of other air rifles I have bought came in a box / package worth saving. This box for a rifle this expensive is terrible, only reason to save it is, possibly to have to ship it somewhere. This is not P/As fault, but American Arms should be ashamed. This is my 2nd AA rifle, probably the last.

This is a truly an amazing rifle. It is as acurate as my target .22 rifles and is almost silent in discharge. I was skeptical about its advertised accuracy but Crieg assurred me it would shoot under a half inch at 50 meters and it does that and less. The magazines are easy to load as is the cocking lever to use. The air intake valve is also easy to use.

Air Arms S500 XS Xtra FAC Regulated PCP Air Rifle

I purchased the regulated .177 Cal version of this rifle for Field Target competition. This is one accurate rifle. I'm shooting dime-size groups out to 50 yards with AA 10.34 gr pellets. The action is as smooth as silk, and the trigger is delightful (after I adjusted it to less than 1/2 pound break). The stock is pretty, and fits my body well. At my local air gun club indoor 30 yard range I shot twelve consecutive 5 shot groups that were about 5/16" (1/4"-3/8"), center to center. On the middle power setting I am getting 75 shots on a fill (250 bar) before the pressure gets below the regulated pressure (150 bar). The lowest power setting is about 6 fpe (good for basement shooting), the second setting is 12 fpe, the third setting is about 18.9 fpe. The two highest setting are too fast for .177, unless you are planning to shoot JSB monster pellets.

Super nice ergonomic stock....soft touch over wood is very grippy and durable. The pistol grip and fully adjustable comb are extremely comfortable. The two-stage trigger is definitely match grade and easily adjusted without removing the action from the stock. Free of creep and a very clean break. Shrouded barrel and threaded end cap, you can make it very quiet if you add a supressor. Side lever cocking is long but super smooth and precise. Super accurate with 18gr JSB and Air Arms pellets. I have shot 1" groups at 100yds no problem. Power is high, 35fpe....able to launch heavy pellets with ease. Turn the power adjuster down for lighter pellets. Reasonably accurate with NSA slugs in 19 and 21gr....2" at 100yds. The metal work and fit and finish are top notch. This is a high quality rifle all the way around. I get an extreme spread of between 10 and 20 with heavy pellets, between 20 and 30 with 15gr pellets. This rifle is tuned for high power. I get 45 shots on the regulator.

very easy to cock the gun, beautiful finish and workmanship, easier to load than i anticipated. guess if i had to have only one air gun this would be the one.
