Description
The Air Arms TX200 MKIII Ultimate Springer with walnut stock takes the fully-adjustable stock developed for their prior top-of-the-line airguns and adds it to the excellent performance that has made this lineup famous. This improved blend of adjustability and features means that this air rifle provides incredible results when used for target practice and small-game hunting.
This model of the air rifle utilizes an appealing walnut stock that features a long section of laser-cut stippled texturing on both the forearm and grip that results a non-slip hold. In addition, it has a 3-axis rubber buttpad that provides added control and comfort, a fully-adjustable cheekpiece that adjusts vertically as well as horizontally, and a ball joint for complete rotation and tilt adjustment.
The Air Arms TX200 MKIII Ultimate Springer has a Lothar Walther match-grade barrel that yields superb accuracy. The air rifle also has a built-in moderator that results in shots that are quieter than expected. It also features an adjustable, high-luster trivalent chrome plated two-stage trigger with a tactile finish for better feel and grip, and it gives a crisp break for repeatable accuracy.
The 11mm dovetail optics rail allows shooters to add a scope to provide improved sighting options, in combination with the adjustable cheekpiece that results in optimum eye alignment. To get an air rifle that offers expert craftsmanship and extreme accuracy for improved results for small-game hunting and target practice, buy an Air Arms TX200 MKIII Ultimate Springer with walnut stock at Pyramyd AIR now.

Quite a high grade well made firearm. The bluing is deep, the fit is top notch and the adjustable cheek piece and buttplate is quite nice
Things I Would Have ChangedI would really llike it if Air Arms would use the wood taken out of the stock for the adjustable cheek piece. It would need something like the black material to take up the space of the kerf of the saw when it is removed but that is just something for the designers to work out and I don't think it would be difficult. My rifle came w a nice but not really nice piece of walnut stock. I would pay a premium to purchase a "select" stock. Some of them are spectacular.
What Others Should KnowMy Air Arms TX200 MKIII Ultimate Springer, Walnut, was a disappointment in the accuracy department. I shot 6 .22 pellets from 18+gn down to 11gn from JSB Diablos, RWS Match, H&N and Air Arms and the best 5 shot group I could get was 1.25" at 20yds. I called Pyramyd Air and they referred me to Air Arms about the lack of accuracy. I have a Diana 48 and a Beeman R9 that are hundreds of dollars less that will beat that. Air Arms said it would e ok to clean the barrel with a bore snake and Ballistol. The bore was quite tight but after pulling the snake through several times I tried again. It was marginally better, maybe an 1" and most were a spread pattern, not several shots in one group touching with one or two away. I will try after the weekend to return this rifle with Air Arms blessing for a replacement.
