Proudly built in Mogador, Ohio, TenPoint Crossbows has taken the lead in developing, designing, and manufacturing world-class crossbows and accessories. TenPoint for almost 30 years has been at the forefront in advocating for the legalization and inclusion of crossbows as viable hunting weapons. After a couple of southwestern states eliminated crossbow restrictions in 2003, they have been key for more states to eliminate those restrictions.
As crossbow technology evolves, the production process to build new crossbow designs must also evolve to ensure a high-quality product and to meet demands. The company had its first patents in 1995 for a bow-to-barrel sound dampening system and a dry-fire prevention mechanism. Since then, the company has secured over 90 patents for crossbow technologies.
No other company in the industry has a record of advancement in technology that even comes close. The expanded opportunities have helped crossbows grow tremendously popular as a hunting weapon, and crossbows have allowed many additional hunters to get in the woods.
TenPoint crossbows (commonly searched as "10 point crossbows" and "Ten-point crossbows") offer crank-style cocking devices that reduce bowstring draw weights. This allows hunters who have physical limitations or disabilities to still participate in archery hunting without worrying about injuring themselves. Higher-end models, like the Vapor RS470, use a patented ACUslide system which is built directly into the trigger mechanism. It is easily released and slides down the rail to grab the center serving. Then can be cocked with a handle in the stock.
