I am left-handed and always wanted a proper stock for my Beeman/Weirauch HW30 rifle. Last December I learned that there was just such a stock. I placed the order only to find out that it was on back-order. The new stock arrived near the end of May. It was beautiful with all the material quality and craftsmanship I had hoped for.
Things I would have changed:The problem was that it just did not fit. The back of the receiver on my HW30 has a rounded cap but the cutout on the stock was square. There are two pins on either side of the receiver that stick out a bit. The new stock was not hollowed out for them.I struggled with the problem for several days trying to decide if I could modify the new stock to make it fit. Sadly I decided it was not worth the risk of making a real mess out of a beautiful stock.
What others should know:I call Pyramid Air to see if anything could be done. Their technical folks suggested that I take it to a gunsmith to have it fitted. After looking into it I decided that the additional cost were not worth it for me. Pyramid Air offered to covered the return shipping cost. Again, I sadly repackaged it and sent it back.
