This is an esential safety item for your gun

This lock is easy to use, both to put on and to take off quickly when needed. Ease of putting it on is important because it takes away one excuse somebody might have for not using it. Ease of removal is just as important in an emergency. It comes with two keys - one for the key chain, and one for a backup copy (at another location) in case my keys are ever lost.

It would be nice if I could request a particular keying, so that all my guns could use the same key if I wanted them to.

The shape of the lock itself indicates how it should form-fit any given trigger. Just squeeze the two interlocking pieces together until snug with the trigger frame and the lock is secure.

Comes at a fair price. Is relatively safe if you snap it on tight, and orientate the flat part towards the top. It will slip a little, but if you snatch it tight flat part up, it moves very little at all. Maybe you should lock it in a chest if you really want to feel safe. But little fingers won't move it much if you do above.

There should be a kind of flat part to jam against the trigger. Instead you have a bunch of small rubber protrusions that grip this trigger in place.

This is one design fits all, so you may have problems with other guns. I use this for my crossbows. I like it, I have no little kids around but probably they wouldn't be able to move it around much if tight.

EVERY gun Even the weakest pistol NEEDS A TRIGGER LOCK Even if you have a gun cabinet, no kids around. A minute of inattention, an accident, could just be friends or family picking it up to move it and accidentally hitting trigger, makes every weapon capable of creating a tragedy.
It's not worth it, get them, use them.
I urge all vendors to include a check off box on orders indicating person has a gun lock, or automatically adding a gun lock to order.

Fits my Gen2 synthetic Benjamin Marauder - no complaints. I don't have a safe way of storing my air rifle and was concerned that a visiting child would sneak around our bedroom and play with the air rifle so I decided that this was the next best thing.

Might not be a bad idea to offer in various colors. For those with several rifles, it helps with knowing which key goes to which lock. For now, I simply put a dab of paint on lock and key, even before using them.

I like knowing the kids will not be able to use my guns if they should happen to get to them.

Everything, I'm all about safety w/air guns- they have come a long way in 35 years since I started and as they become more powerful they are more fun and less and less a kids toy. These locks are very strong.

Like I said before, as sure as a lightening strike if someone is hit they will be injured or killed.If your not using them lock them up good.

Very sturdy and quite heavy. Thick rubber padding to avoid scratches.Ordered 5 the first time and 3 the second time both times same keys on all locks in each order which made things much easier. Well Well WEll worth the money.

Use a little lithium or other grease on inside shaft and receiver of locking mechanism to keep them working smooth. Remember, there is no such thing as just a BB gun or just a pellet gun. A gun is a gun and like any other if a person is hit AS SURE AS A LIGHTENING STRIKE IT- WILL!- INJURE OR KILL THEM. PLEASE KEEP THEM LOCKED WHEN THEY ARE OUT OF YOUR SIGHT. SAFE SHOOTING

Being a retired Police Officer I had several of these around, remember kids are curious. You must have if you don't have a gunsafe. Fits any gun I have.

I used to be a Police Officer and kept these on all my guns, especially when there is little kids around. This fits any gun.

Quality lock at low price.

Great protection. I've got four of these and they fit even my longest rifle, no problem. Plenty of room for scopes, too. Pockets are generous. I can carry 2 tins of ammo, store my elastic scope covers, and a wipedown rag.
