    Things I liked:

Compact and light for a compressor.

    Things I would have changed:

Send a bottle of silicone oil with purchase

    What others should know:

    Just a great little compressor.

    Things I liked:

Can be used anywhere, only 19lbs and comes in a heavy duty bag , that will last for years to come. Took only 4.5 minutes to fill my Umarex Gauntlet 25Cal to 3000 psi . Easy peasy to use.

    Things I would have changed:

Longer air line hose , and longer battery cables would be nice. A little bit cheaper would have been nice.

    What others should know:

You will not regret it!! , worth every penny. Wish I had not waited so long to purchase one. More fun time. And no more trips to the scuba shop. And no more back aches from hand pumping.

    Things I liked:

Just started into PCPs. I was able to avoid buying tanks and running around for filling stations. For me it is a great way to get easily recharged especially after using the hand pump method waiting for the Nomad to arrive.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at the moment.

    What others should know:

Works as advertised and avoided tanks all together. Invest your money on one of these if you have been looking for a new tank.

    Things I liked:

First of all, let me say that I never give the highest rating for anything. That being said, I love this compressor. I waited 5 months for PA to get them back in stock so I could get mine. I just finished my first fill in just over 6 minutes for my Evanix Rex .357 rifle to 250 bar (3100 psi). The case is very nice and the unit seems pretty sturdy for being so compact.

    Things I would have changed:

    At the moment, nothing.

    What others should know:

Make sure you get the right lubricant and any other accessories that you will need for your particular PCP gun. I researched before purchase and had to by a 1/4" quick disconnect for my fill probe. There are many "How to Videos" and reviews on you tube to assist you if you have trouble. I had no problem setting up and was refilling within 10 minutes. The instruction manual is pretty clear. Enjoy.

    Things I liked:

Be your own fill station. Quick and easy access to fill either at home or out in the field. Filled up quickly to my 490cc tank. Fills up to 4500 PSI if needed. No more need for scuba tanks (heavy) Carry bag for the attachments and maintenance items for the compressor is awesome!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Buy the correct fill adapter to your gun and you should be set.

    Things I liked:

Have been using this compressor to fill my AirForce TalonSS and my FXWildcat. With the help of PyramydAir staff and the purchase of one adapter was able set up both guns with quick connects. Have been using a hand pump for the past 7-8 years and decided it was time to up grade as I have now had my 71st birthday and it was starting to bother my shoulders when I would have to pump. I was avoiding doing the shooting I wanted to because of the hand pumping. Very happy with this compressor so far and realize I will be buying more pellets soon. There are other compressors out there from other manufacturers and sold by other airgun shops, even some very cheap ones from china that seam to be working but I went with PA because of the service and warranty if I have a problem.

    What others should know:

Be sure to check the oiling hole connection on the compressor. When I unpacked and inspected the compressor I found a small silver grommet wedged in the hollow bottom of one of the rubber foot pads. When looking at the small hole in the side of the case where the oil is supposed to go I could not see anything connected. When I took the case off, the plastic tube that goes to the compressor was hanging loose. I realized that the silver grommet was used to connect the plastic tube to the outer case for the oil hole. By the way this is also the air intake for the whole compressor so be sure this is open and away from dust and debris.

    Things I liked:

Quick fill times and endless supply of compressed air. Nice carrying case & included spare parts. The box this is shipped in could be used to ship dynamite.

    Things I would have changed:

Little bit more attention to some of the smaller details.

    What others should know:

This is a great compressor and fills my Benjamin Marauder from 2 to 3 bars in about 2 minutes. It's a well-built compressor but came up just a bit short on some small details. When I got my compressor out of the box the first time I noticed the cover over the load meter actually slid part way off. I also found that the oil port fitting on the side missing, so I took the top off to see what's up. With the top off I found one of the quick disconnects for the power switch was also broken. I repaired the cover for the load meter with some glue and found the oil port fitting inside the compressor in one of the cooling fans. The quick disconnect still works so I didn't do anything to it. After fixing the other two minor things it has worked great ever since but I shouldn't have to repair something before I can even use it, other than that it's been a great machine so far.

    Things I liked:

Small compact unit, multi voltage capable, great carry case for traveling.

    Things I would have changed:

Pressure switch that prevents power on with pressure on line, longer pressure line so your gun doesn't practically have to sit on the compressor when filling and relocate moisture bleed drain so you don't have to hang unit over table edge, hold in air or prop up in order to open the drain.

    What others should know:

Be very aware of pressure being released before starting compressor. While filling a rifle (my 5th time using my new compressor) I accidently pressed the on/off button and the compressor stopped. Without thinking I pressed it again to turn back on (while under pressure). It did blow the 30 amp fuse (as expected) which I replaced but not before a puff of smoke and a loud squeal came from below the amperage LED readout (control circuit card). After the new fuse the fans start and run but only a loud squeal is heard, no LED readout and compressor does not start. After some online research I discovered that smoking the control card before the fuse blows is common. I am going to order 2 new cards and keep one for a spare as I'm sure this could happen again. This could have easily been prevented if a simple pressure switch was installed that would prevent power to the on/off switch when pressure on the line was detected.

    Things I liked:

Much improved over my Nomad I. Solid build. Very smooth operation. Low level fan from the inboard inverter runs constantly when unit is plugged in keeping continuous flow of air internally. New High Speed fan now operates when the main Power/Reset is switched on. This is an improvement over the lower speed fan on the Nomad I. A second Run switch now activates the compressor. A new blue LED light has been added and has a separate switch. Very smooth operation and the updated manual is also better. Single unit in the II vs two-piece unit in the Nomad I is much better and a carrying case for portability is great.

    Things I would have changed:

I can't think of too much that I would have changed on the Nomad II. Unfortunately, lubrication is still needed via a small hole on the compressor. I would have preferred not having to add oil periodically but it is not a big deal. The improved high-velocity blower fan seems to do the job, which might be even good enough to eliminate the need for oil but better safe than sorry. Manufacturer recommends 2-3 drops of lube after every 5 fills. Fair enough.

    What others should know:

Overall, my Nomad II is vastly improved over my old Nomad I. Thanks, Pyramyd Air for the opportunity to upgrade my Nomad I. So far I have only run four fills using my new unit, having just returned from a trip that prevented me from using my Nomad II unit immediately. So far I am very pleased with the improvement in design and operation. This is a solid unit in construction and operation. I love the convenience of being able to immediately refill my Hatsan AT44s. I will update this post once I have worked the unit through 50 or so fills. This appears to be a much improved PCP compressor over the Nomad I. I have high confidence that it will run reliably over the long haul. If you've been waiting, throw away that hand pump and do yourself a favor. Get a Nomad II.

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

With a hand pump I can fill my Marauder in about 30 - 45 minutes. With this pump it is about 4.5 minutes.

    Things I liked:

It worked great for about one month (owned for 2 months but moved across state so didn't use for one of those months). I only fill the 480 cc FX tanks from about 180 to 250 BAR, and only one tank at a time. The electronics are still working and the pump runs but makes a different noise now and it jiggles on it's feet more than it used to. The burst disk looked fine but I replaced it anyway, to no avail. Called the AV phone number, went straight to voicemail stating that all staff were busy so I left my email and phone number just as requested. No word back so took a look at the parts bag that came with and found o-rings about the circumference of the pump so tore into that. O-rings are fine. I've probably voided the warranty so this is probably going into the trash can soon. Not happy at all.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it last longer than one month.

    What others should know:

So many other 5 star ratings that I must have gotten a bad one.

    Things I liked:

Very well built, solid. Worked great as soon as I figured out the connector I needed to use with my rifle. One call to Pyramid Tech and it worked exactly as advertised. If I shoot down to the bottom of my rifles range only about a three minute refill time, better than I expected.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing worked as advertised.

    What others should know:

If you need another connector to your gun make sure you know how to hook it up. I did not do it right the first time and had no luck. Like I said, Pyramid Tech had me going in less than 5 minutes (including wait time on the phone)

It is great to have my own air source. The first one that was sent had a problem with the ON/OFF switch. Pyramyd did a great job and the return was no problem. The second compressor works like a champ. It fills my small Air Venturi tank from 2700 to 3200 psi in about 5 minutes.
